Plot Twist

I don’t usually like leather in perfumes, but here I can smell it only at the beginning. After a few minutes, I feel as if I’m in a rich, independent aunt’s villa (I don’t have a rich, independent aunt) filled with vintage yet luxurious furniture. The evolving layers are extraordinary, I feel like the perfume smells different every hour, yet always beautifully so. This fragrance feels very thoughtfully composed, and I can tell that Konstalace has poured every part of herself into it. Also, the longevity and sillage are, in my case, extraordinary. I can smell it on myself, and I don’t usually notice perfumes on my own skin, even though other people do. That said, I think this is quite individual, I can only speak for myself.

Honestly, judging by the notes, I thought this wouldn’t be a perfume for me, but then I tried it and fell in love. At the beginning I could smell spicy pistachios, and after about half an hour the fragrance transformed into a beautiful, complex scent. On my skin it smells rather sweet...the leather is not very pronounced for me and I can even detect a hint of vanilla, which is supposed to be present only in a very small amount. Overall, it’s definitely a successful and refined perfume that makes you want to keep smelling it.

Very beautiful, surprising and original, yet weareable fragrance. Love the pistachio hit in the opening followed by beautiful warm hug from the spices. Leather lingers for a long time on my skin before it turns again to lovely creamy plum, that I want to sniff forever. Love, love, love that we have a new bold niche perfume brand in Czechia, especially since it is created by the talented Konstalace and the best czech nose Martin Švach. What a debut!

Nejprve jsem si vzorečkem nebyla jistá, ale s druhým a třetím nošením se mi líbí čím dál tím víc! Když ho nosím, cítím se záhadně, jako holka, co věří v astrologii, nosí fialovou a po večerech pije čaj a čte knížky. Whimsy vibes, for sure! Voní mi jako indický krámek s cool věcičkama ale se špetkou magie. No, potřebuju celý flakon!

First spray is very strong and spicy. Than its sweet plum, spices with leather. Its smooth and addictive and warm. I love that scent is changing. Well done.

Very unique and complex, yet not for everyone. For me it's worth every penny ❤️

A classic case of a influencer launching their own perfume - massive hype, sky-high expectations, and then it lands on Fragrantica with absolutely wild ratings and reviews that either worship it or tear it to shreds. Well, here's a PLOT TWIST... it’s really not all that. It’s definitely not a scent for everyone, and I can easily imagine it being too much for many people. It evolves quite a lot over time, but I’d roughly divide it into three stages. First, there’s a very pronounced spicy cardamom, followed by a surprisingly juicy, light plum that, after about an hour, melts into warm leather. I initially thought it would be a purely feminine fragrance, so I ordered a sample for my girlfriend but ended up finishing it myself. It’s not an everyday fragrance. It’s made for special occasions - dinners, parties, nights out - any situation where you want to feel confident and draw a bit of attention. Both the projection and longevity are surprisingly solid.

I only have a sample and overall it's quite nice. You can definitely recognize Martin Švach's signature style. For the first 30 minutes, it leans very masculine on my skin—smoky, leathery, and a bit too harsh for my taste. Thankfully, once it settles, it transforms into a much softer scent with creamy rice milk and pistachio notes, which I really enjoy. Unfortunately, that beautiful dry-down doesn't last very long before it fades, so considering the performance, I don't feel the price is justified.

Leather and smoke, but somehow mysteriously mildly sweet and feminine on me. The scent keeps changing throughout the day. This was a blind buy and while at first it seemed too harsh and not something I would typically wear, it definitely grew on me.

It is very closed to Kenzo Amour. But it's only my opinion. Very pleasant perfume with clean rice undertones and with a bit of pistacio and spices. This perfume IS for me very wearable fragrance 🙂

Za mě bohužel ne. Strašne jsem si přála, aby se mi parfém líbil, protože slečně fandím. Je sice unisex, ale pro mě je víc pro pány. Postrádám tam ženskou stránku, švestka je cítit opravdu málo. Což může být samozřejmě můj problém. Zkoušela jsem i na mužském pohlaví, tam se mi líbí o dost víc. Strašně moc tam cítím kardamon, anýz a kůži, pistácii prakticky vůbec. Vůně může být pro někoho velký bolehlav, rozhodně doporučuji vzorek, tohle není určitě pro každého. Doufám, že brzo vyjde další parfém a ten si zamiluju.

If the perfume lasted longer than two hours, I would be considering a purchase, but... I have it with every single perfume from this creator. I love unisex and masculine-leaning perfumes and I consider this one as a quite nicely done, warm and unusual, but because of the poor longevity, the price is inexcusable, I'm sorry.

For me, this is a big NO. I’ve been following the creator behind this fragrance on social media almost since the very beginning, I truly support her work, and with many of the perfumes she has reviewed, our tastes align. That’s why I really hoped I would fall in love with her own fragrance. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Although the perfume is supposed to open sweet, I don’t perceive any sweetness at all. From the very first seconds, all I can smell is leather and smoke. After about an hour, the strong leather note softens slightly, but what remains is a scent that reminds me of the inside of an old, slightly musty wooden wardrobe at my grandmother’s house. And that is simply not how I want to smell. I also had a few friends test the perfume and none of them detected any sweetness either — only leather, at times slightly animalic. I honestly don’t understand how anyone perceives sweetness in this fragrance, although I know there are a few such reviews...

Vůbec nevím, co si o této vůni myslet. Jelikož sleduji zakladatelku a vesměs se nám líbí ty samé parfémy, tak jsem neváhala a koupila si vzoreček jejího prvního parfému s očekáváním, že to bude pecka. Vzoreček mi přišel do práce, takže jsme hned a kolegyněmi parfém vyzkoušely a nastalo velké zklamání. Všechny jsme se shodly na tom, že parfém smrdí a kolegyně si dokonce šly hned umýt ruce a musely vyvětrat v kanceláři, protože cítily z parfému Alpu a kadidlo. Já to nechtěla s parfémem ještě vzdát a pořád se nemůžu rozhodnout, zda ho nesnášet nebo ne, mám pořád potřebu se k němu vracet a zjišťovat co mi tam vadí. Je to škoda, ale věřim, že jednou se ke mně nějaký parfém od Kostalace dostane a budu ho milovat.

...A lot, a lot of leather. If you’re not a leather girl, this one simply won’t sit right. Konstalace adores and can easily wear masculine perfumes, and that’s exactly what I was afraid of – that this fragrance would feel too masculine on me. On the other hand, Konstalace is probably the only influencer I truly believe put her heart and soul into this creation. And since I absolutely love this girl, I sincerely hope she will one day create a perfume for us (-the girly‐girly gourmand girls).

Tesila jsem se, autorku sleduji a fandim ji. Ale vune mi vubec nesedla. Prvni hodinu mi vylozene pachne. Extremni mnozstvi kouře a kuze. Pak se rozlezi a celkem to jde, ale to je trochu malo na takto hypovany parfem. Vydrz je na kuzi prumerna. Za me je rozhodne pansky. Plne baleni si nekoupim, vzorek mi stacil.

Žiaľ parfém mi nesadol. Vôňa je sladká a ťažka.. Na 90 % mi pripomína parfém od Slava Zaitsev Maroussia. Z 90. Rokov.

Not for me... too much leather

It’s not for me. At the beginning I smell a lot of spices (star anise, caraway) and licorice (even though it’s not listed in the notes). I don’t smell any plum at all. After a while, the perfume turns into smoky leather — like when you sniff a leather couch in a bar. Who would want to smell like this?
