Oui-Non

Oui Non is a beautiful and quite sweet fruity floral resting on vanilla. It's not a complicated fragrance, but in my opinion very well done. I rembember beeing in Paris for a weekend in -94 and I tried it in the Kookai shop where I also bought some singoalla blouses. I was on the fence buying it at that time and have always regretted that I didn't. Some years ago I saw it again on ebay, but before I even had the time to think about it it was gone. But a little scent memory passed by and since then I became determined to find it, and now I'm a proud owner of a 50 ml bottle. To my nose Oui Non smells like a peachy floral with a tart zing from the pineapple. The vanilla isn't heavy, it rather softens the fruits and flowers. And the amber sweetens the fragrance, and makes it warmer. It somehow reminds me a little of Gucci Accenti, without the good portion of sandalwood accenti has. It's spirit brings out the teenager within me and I think it is a beautiful girlie scent :P: "Extrait de concentré d'essence de fille" - indeed! I love it and my only wish is that it was more potent and longlasting. Anyway, I adore what I can.

FINALLY!!! KOOKAÏ IS HERE!!! Well well well :) I think I will describe this fragranse as romantic. It is light & fruity, gets a bit powdery as it dries down. Taif rose and Violet I can smell at the beginning and all the way til the end. Peach and Vanilla at the very end. But I must say, that the "end" is not near. It is really long lasting. Long lasting on skin even longer on cloths. It transforms so soft and beautifful that you are not getting tired of it. Difficult to say at what age it could be used....I guess its all about the body chemistry. This is very special to me parfume. I got it as a gift from my mom, when I was 17(i think). Back there I didn ́t fully appreciated it, although I got complements on this all the time. After a while I forgot all abut it. Years passed and I start looking for it but it was not possible to find. Discontinued! Not long ago, I got lucky, as I got it from one of us - the "fragrantista" ! I was so glad when i found out that the formula did not changed. It is the same as I rememer it, same as before! One thing I must say - It should always remain in my collection :)

I'm pretty sure this was my first perfume, when I was about 12. I kept the little bottle proudly on my dresser for years, only sniffing the nozzle, too afraid to wear it lest I 'waste' the gorgeous Smelling juice. And one day, I see it's evaporated and reduced right down to a half centimeter thick slug of Parfum, all the alcohol had evaporated from years of sunlight. I'm broken but the scent is still there. Oh how naive I was back then, thinking I could savour a 30ml bottle till I was old and grey lol. Anyway, 20 years later I still LOVE this scent. I have about 4-500 perfumes and this is still unique to me. I've never smelled anything like it. It's not what most would call sophisticated, it's a fun, flirty sweet orange with some supporting notes, but I just love it! I have a decent little stash of if now, obviously bought at much more ridiculous prices than back in '93! Nevertheless, I'll never let this go, never share it, and never get tired of it.

Thanks for adding it !!! It was really one of my favorite unexpensive scent EVER ! It was warm , amberish , vanillish and yet NOT boring at all , very feminine , quite distinctive and sensual . Everyone was loving it in my school , including me, of course . I was so happy when i got it for Christmas !!! Unfortunately i haven't been able to enjoy it it until the last drop , because when i went to vacations the following summer , the bottle opened in my suitcase , spreading all the perfume on my things :-( And i can tell you , the lasting power is very good ! Unfortunately it is dicontinued , if you find one bottle , be sure the scent hasn't gone wrong !

This French beauty is absolute bliss. It came out when I was in highschool and I never forgot how delicious it was! I grew up in a tiny farming community in rural Australia, so fragrance range was limited. But, by some miracle, this contrary madame found herself a niche in our local pharmacy; alongside Exclamation by Coty and Vanilla Fields. I found a vintage 50ml splash bottle on eBay and I was almost shocked by how beautiful the 30yo composition still is! I have many vintages in my collection, many of them have lost a marked amount of their original longevity; Oui Non is still as strong as ever she was! Absolute love. For me, it's still a 'Oui' ❤️

Well, this is the first fragrance I bought when I was more or less 12...I forgot to have It until I saw it on Fragrantica and so I put It on and had a fantastic surprise! It's sweet, obviously, but in a very very light and gentle way, the sillage is very good and I feel like having twelve again.... I looooooove It!

My very first perfume. I remember it being a very youthful, floral fresh fragrance...in a unique way. Suited me at 14 years old. I would love to be able to smell it again, but I fear it would be a bit of a let down. I think it's best left as a happy memory :)

I had a small bottle of this when it first came out. I remeber it was very sweet and sticky but nice. It left a sweet trail behind whoever wore it. It lasted and was inexpensive but impossible to get now. I wish they would relaunch it.

A youthful and charming fragrance that perfectly captures the spirit of the early 1990s. It feels like a transitional scent, standing between the grand amber florals of the 1980s and the fruity florals that would come to define the 1990s. It opens with a delightful blend of juicy peach and pineapple, brightened by sparkling citrus notes. The overall impression is sweet, fresh, and reminiscent of a cheerful young woman. It brings Lancôme Trésor to mind, though Oui-Non feels lighter and airier, perhaps because the citrus notes are more prominent. As the fragrance develops, a soft powdery floral accord emerges. I suspect heliotrope plays an important role here. The classic powdery florals are wrapped in vanilla and amber, preserving a noticeable trace of the 1980s aesthetic. The fragrance is consistently pleasant, romantic, feminine, and slightly old-fashioned in the most endearing way. I can easily imagine young women of the time falling in love with this scent.

Bought it on ebay and it is too heavy for me.Jasmin or lily of the valley are way strong,like one of the vintage perfumes.Peach here is like in Tresor.

My very first fragrances when I was around 14 years old! I remember it was juicy and sweet fruity and floral from memory it was also a bit tart. I just found a decant of this on eBay and considered purchasing however as someone has said below it’s probably left best as a memory... I still remember the ad “Oui Non by Kookai. The very essence of a young woman” lol! Saying all this I would love to smell it one more time just to bring back that time of youthful abandon!

I don't think it's been available in Poland recently - maybe in some little shops, but otherwise - I doubt it. And it's a shame, as Oui-Non is one of those scents that bring on the image of an elegant lady in a stylish hat, gloves and an classic dress - so deeply missed toady! My best friend in highschool used to love this and I didn't, as for me this is too "Chanel No 5"-like and it's not my type at all, however I totally appreciate it. If you get it, go for it!:)

the notes look delicious, i really want to try this once again, since i have also read a lot of fascinating reviews about this fragrance for a long time. I know it sounds funny but back then when it was widely available i remember i wasn ́t inteested in it and preferred other fragrances, but now i am dying to try it again and maybe fall in love with it :))

My first perfume. I used to use it for special ocassions only. I didn't manage to use too much of it when my father smashed it accidently... A few years ago I bought it again. First spray, I close my eyes and feel like I am 16 again... It evokes so good memories, it's so comforting! Shame it's gone.

I asked Strawberrynet please get this gem. They said it is sooo popular (yes-yes of course), but it worth to check the site periodly. As I know in Poland it is still available. I desire this bottle so much.. :S

This was my scent from 14 -16. Cute Sweet Fun. Picture a freshly washed girl leaning over a gate picking fruit in the sun, this is the image I get from this smell this perfume.
