my second coziest coconut fragrance. first being coconut cabana sdj ofc lol. i don’t understand the hate on these mists too, i tried the rest in store and couldn’t decide on which to buy!!! maybe it’s cuz they’re expensive for what they are?? idk but these mists (specifically this one) are beautiful to layer or wear as is. they’re THAT strong 😁 so i guess that means you get your bang for your buck lol. all this to say, this is a fresher take on sdj39 in my opinion. it’s sandy, warm, coconutty, but with the addition of fresh ocean air which imo 39 lacks. 39 to me is my ideal coconut fragrance, but this runs a very close second!! 🥥🌊💌

So sad about this because like another reviewer said, I think this fragrance got bad in the plastic bottle and I wasn't able to salvage it. :( I might repurchase if I see one at TJ Maxx or on sale and transfer to glass ASAP. It's a bummer because this scent is EXACTLY what I look for in summer scents - sweet, beachy, sunscreen-y. I think when I bought this I actually liked that small plastic note but it started to burn my nose and became unusable.

It has decent longevity for a body mist. I’ve been layering it with Seychelles Sands and I smell like I’m on vacation. It’s a very sunscreen-y coconut with a warm and creamy base. It’s a love for me.

very rich coconut/milky scent. lasts pretty much all day on skin/hair. pretty good for a body spray.

A nice beach, heavy coconut, custard, vanilla scent, BUT (<--that's a big BUTT and I can not lie) I believe that the plastic bottle leaches and impacts the smell of this perfume. Sad face. When I realized this, I quickly poured it into a GLASS spray bottle. This seems to help with the icky plastic-synthetic-leaching smell that gets stronger the longer you own it. That said, although I like this fragrance, I likely will not purchase it again due to the plastic bottle. PLEASE, PLEASE, FRAGRANCE MAKERS, GLASS BOTTLES ONLY! THANK YOU.

This is probably the best I’ve smelled from this brand. It’s pretty, but not exceptional when there are so many other special beautiful fragrances out there. It’s nice, though, if you’re looking for an inoffensive pretty summer scent.

smells almost exactly like pantene coconut and shea conditioner on me its honestly astonishing. reminds me of my grandmothers house. of course neither of these are bad things, i quite like the milky coconut scent, but very jarring.

Very synthetic, and nauseatingly sweet milk. It’s similar to the sweetness you’d find in some form of powdered milk (im thinking protein powder), but it’s very powerful in this mist. The coconut in here is so faint that it’s overpowered by the sweet milk that’s in here. The dry down is a little better but not by much. Some people are comparing this to coco cabana by SDJ, and I haven’t smelled that in a long time, but I know for a fact that this fragrance is no where near SDJ level. I would never have bought this if I smelled it in the store. Save your money Edit: I now have coco cabana, and I was right. Nothing alike at all. Coco cabana is very much coconut forward and the vanilla in the background gives it a bit of a smoky sweetness. Very much a gourmand. On the other hand, kaanapali is milk forward, actually I don’t really get much else from the scent other than the baby formula/sour milk smell. Very very different.

I received this as a gift and when I saw coconut and vanilla on the packaging I went buck wild. It smelled pretty good from the cap but the moment I sprayed it, it was an instant sour headache in a bottle. The best I can describe this as is being dehydrated on an 100 degree day in humidity with stinky sunscreen on. And also this shi smells like when you bump your head a bit too hard on the bottom of your counter and you can taste a little something from how hard you hit your head. I'm trying so hard to gaslight myself into liking this but I can't The rest of the Kopari fragrances are fine, but I would deffo say it's not worth the hefty price at Ulta. Get it at TJ Maxx for $15 like the rest of us (The value pack is ok for variety)

Hell no. I found the milk note to be very strong and overpowering. Tested in heat and of course it turned into spoiled milk with coconut.

i love coconut, i love vacation-y “sunscreen” scents, but this is the most cloying thing i’ve ever smelled

the peach note is nauseating to me. super screechy and almost like an air-freshener.

everytime i see a coconut scent i try it in hopes of finding sdj39, the coconut is not as rich and creamy as sdj39 and no where near. the fruity fresh notes seems to overpower the coconut milky scent to me. i can see the resemblance, i wouldn’t say this is a exact dupe but if i run out of mine then ill probably buy this
