Iris Dore

This perfume is so luxurious. One of the best perfumes that I have tested in this year. I never could imagine that Korloff would be able to create such high quality perfumes. Something in this perfume is reminiscent of Amouage Opus V which is one of my all time favourites. This is majestic. I am in love with it and prefer it over Dior or lots of Amouage perfumes (except Opus V😉) . Thank you Korloff. 🖤💙🖤💙💙🖤💙🖤 یک عطر لوکس و فوق‌العاده اصلاً تصور نمیکردم کورلوف چنین عطر بی‌نظیری تولید کنه. کیفیت این عطر قابل مقایسه با عطرهای آمواژ و دیور هست و حالت پودری فوق‌العاده شیک و لوکسی داره که به نوعی منو به یاد آمواژ اپوس پنج میندازه. اینقدر خوشبو و لوکس هست که علی‌رغم قیمت بالاش، بدون تردید میگم که به قیمتش می‌ارزه. فقط چون برندش کمتر در ایران شناخته شده کسی باورش نمیشه کورلوف هم چنین عطری تولید کنه. پیشنهاد میکنم حتماً تستش کنید تا خودتون زیباییش رو حس کنید.

I tested it in a douglas. I've never heard of korloff before I saw it in this douglas. It was a very pleasant suprise, the korloff fragrences that I tested are top quality. First impression was very good but I couldn't smell it after just a few minutes. That being said, when I showed it to someone on my wrist after 4 hours, she could still smell it pretty strongly. So it has pretty good longevity, but it makes me noseblind very quickly. And that's not very good, because I like to smell my fragrence on me. It's clean fresh and youthful. A warm weather daily signature. Considering that korloff is a niche-like house the price isn't outrageous.

The first Sniff has stolen my nose to make me return to the boutique to buy a full bottle after 5 mins of testing it on my wrist. Iris doré is a trip to my nose and soul taking me first by citrus and a very elegant lavender to meet a cardamoum note for traveling to the Iris poudree vibes at the middle to stay a while. Then gently taking me to the musk, vanilla and sandal wood creamy station at the end of this trip. Longetivity: 6 hrs on skin & > on clothes Projection: an Iris comme il faut! eleganty close to your skin and very suitable for work places and formal occasions!

(I have not tried it) Unfortunately, it happens a lot to Iris perfumes. Molinard has recently released an Iris perfume. It smells for 5 minutes and it's gone. But there are people who dislike perfumes and still use perfumes (like Not A Perfume by Juliette Has a Gun is super popular somehow). Usually it is just Ambroxan or another modern Amber-Musk (see the Group MUSK, AMBER, ANIMALIC SMELLS). Some people are anosmic to it, others think it's a way to pretend that your skin smells good (like Another 13 by Le Labo). I can handle modern Amber-Musks in small dozes (Gypsy Water by Byredo), but I can't stand when they take over the fragrance (Iris by Versace). I love creamy, waxy, lipsticky iris, and my impression after 2 hours of testing is that this is not it. I would even say this is a stone's throw away from the masculine cliché of lavender-citrus fougère that I absolutely hate. The rich Russian girls posing with this bottle to the random Vietnamese review channel who said this makes a good mother's day gift, all lies. I've been lied to y'all.

Sampled this on paper in Moscow, very pleasant iris, I can definitely detect the ambroxan and bergamot. nice fragrance but not sure it's worth the $200 price tag.
