Anthos

A nice, watery floral. I would say this is mostly rose, water flowers, and musk. There's a lemony citrus tang if you take a deep breath up close, but I wouldn't say that that note projects very well. I don't think it's particularly ambery. Not an objectionable peony scent like most entries in the genre. Very classic, nothing too flashy, but dependable. A nice spring floral, perfect for a warm but rainy day during the transition from winter to spring. I am consistently impressed with Korres' offerings and how affordable they are. They could certainly be selling their fragrances for more than the $62 they are currently priced for; I would say they smell like a perfume selling for twice as much. Korres also has an excellent point redemption program (including full bottles of perfume), so definitely check out buying from them directly. Anthos is discontinued, however, so I found my bottle on eBay. 7/10.

This was basic but pleasant. Fresh rose with romantic floral notes in a citrus- powdery background. Doesn't last long but sat quite nicely on my skin. Longevity was about 2 hours with not much projection. Daytime fragrance for running errands or grabbing coffee. If it lasted longer it would also be nice for the office since it is inoffensive and classic but let's be realistic, you can't spray every 2 hours I barely remember to retouch my lipstick in between meetings. For its price range I can say it is quite decent in terms of how the notes develop but they almost dissappear a couple of hours later. I would describe it as romantic feminine and bright. This is what a girl on a floral dress and sneakers would wear on the flee market. Cute.

This is exactly what the accords describe. Fresh citrus notes at the opening, fading extremely quickly, leaving the rose to shine on, until the very quick drydown where the musk shines. Quite old-fashioned, with extremely light sillage. Within 1 2 minutes, i have to bring the wrist to my nose to smell it. I'll probably use it as a bed scent.

Instant love: simple, linear citrus-peony scent. It could be Jo Malone without second thought. Playful, pick me up summer scent, honestly little to nothing not to like about this on so I grabbed a bottle from the Korres section at the duty free shop, for the price point it really is a steal.

Man I am really striking out with this batch of summer frags from korres. This is a sour citrus/rose scent, very retro smelling, not in a good way, imo. Too sharp. Makes me think of my grandma's bathroom circa 1992.
