Emerald Oud

I don't know the nose behind these two Oud fragrances by Korres but it's magnificent work. So affordable, it's crazy. This is the more sensual of the two, a very sophisticated and balanced sweet-leaning wood and oud. You HAVE to try them if you can find them. I love this and adore the Amethyst one. This is my definition of a niche fragrance bargain.

This is so close to Oud Wood! The scent, the performance, the sillage are almost identical.. Great quality and low price! If you're looking for a great oud wood alternative, this is the one!

Emerald > Amethyst. This smells so good. And isn't that what a good perfume is all about? And for this price, this bottle is a steal.

With this one I get oud but blended closely with it is the vetiver and all notes together truly are EMERALD in that there is a green sense. One can imagine being surrounded by fir trees in a dense forest. The scent is that of bark, scraped upon by rutting stags spritzed with amber and cardamom. Since it's deep and serious I sometimes layer CK One Shock for men over it for a bit of energy. Both are unisex; together they're a stand out.

Nice smelling inoffencive oud. It does resemble Tom Ford Oud Wood, though it's not a wannabe clone.

It has a nice scent but the performance is very weak. No one can smell it on you

It's a wonderful and delicate oud scent, which is rare as I tend to think that it's very difficult to make Oud work. When it does, it's lovely, but often it's far too over powering and it's an acquired taste. This does not apply to this formulation, it's lovely. However, the longevity on my skin is very poor.

This gem reminds me of GUCCI Rush for men. A balanced intoxicating combination of sandalwood and oud, which seems to be quite versatile. Not very loud, but approximately gentle, applying peaceful tranquility. Nice job for Korres!
