Lefko

In short, to me this is a much softer BBW Sea Island Shore mixed with Vivamore, pairing the "cold" soapy vibe so nicely with the soft sweet powdery element. It is not too girly and not warm unlike the benzoin-heavy Lovely You by SJP which utilizes again the peony and lily florals (water lily). Instead, the lily of the valley in Lefko along with the powdery base, without much warmth, add that bold and colder soapy aspect to it. Lefko ("stark white" in Greek) is soapy and also powdery in an ozonic way, mainly due to the musk and peony. There is a girly "rose" pink side to it with balanced sweetness and green elements, enveloped by the pure white soapy lily. The rose also adds a slight sour tone to the drydown which I find very attractive and perfumey. The opening is white-blue in my mind. It starts with an intense cotton soap scent, not very sweet or girly (lily of the valley and powdery notes), alongside a green and sweet peony-rose infused musk which kinda smells like acetone to me for some time - the way "coconut musk" smells to me in BBW's Pastel Skies, but in a pleasant way. That fresh musky almost acetone note evolves into a more powdery sweeter melon-like scent later on, but first we get ALOT of that soap smell which can be overwhelming initially, not much of a perfume smell. It is a "cold" cotton soap smell lighter than BBW's Sea Island Shore's cotton, but similar and it is a nautical vibe, like cotton laundry detergent or clean white bed sheets. The intense, deep soapy scent softens progressively so it becomes more perfume-appropriate rather than bathroom room spray. I do like the soapy aspect of this perfume as it blends in with the sweeter powdery notes so it's not one-dimensional. It is not linear. Past the cotton-rich soapy opening of the lily of the valley (which is a green soapy note) and the first wave of powder, the whole fragrance morphs into a sweeter, even more ozonic, girly powdery scent from the rose-peony pairing, while retaining its initial nautical soapy character. There is a fresh melon-like essence from the rose-peony blend, joining the lily of the valley note, quite identical to Vivamore by Selena Gomez. The powdery base becomes more dominant giving a "perfume" quality to the scent. The lily is the common note in both Vivamore and Lefko, and it's behind the soapy green element in both, but more intense here. Even though Lefko has no melon or tea note, I do get that melon-sweet, slightly green and ozonic powdery scent as in Vivamore. The soapy green lily joined by the sweet-sour girly rose which has a green quality to it as well, combined with the powdery notes and the watery-fresh peony, create this sugared breezy powdery effect that is so calming to me and reminiscent of pink rooms and vintage powder puffs. I usually dislike peony-rose in fragrance (Clinique's Peony Picnic that I rarely use) because it smells sickly sweet or too green/watery on me, but it is beautiful here and not overly sweet due to the soapy part of the fragrance. I can no longer find Vivamore so I am glad I found this one and Lefko combines some more elements, it's not straight up melon, tea and lily like Vivamore was, but it has that intensified "cold" soapy cotton-like element as well. It is not as melon-sweet as Vivamore which was at times too sickly sweet for me. I got it with my points so basically paid like 16 bux. My 3rd collie is not fond of perfume and mists and runs away from them when I spray them on myself, but she is not scared of this perfume, so I can tell it contains more natural ingredients. I wish the bottle was all white like with the Aegean Bronze. No wonder Vivamore's bottle was white, apparently this sweet, musky melon-like powdery scent gives the impression of white and purity, but to me it's also blue, green and girly pink too throughout its stages. Lasts 3-4 hrs on me fades into a musky slightly green & sour powdery scent.

It’s an accessible, no-fuss fragrance that works well for everyday occasions. There is no need to spend a fortune to enjoy such a good scent.

I've finally managed to get my hands on this beauty. Does it smell like Blanche? Yes and no. Let me explain: Blanche has aldehydes which transport the scent with a little bit of a punch into your nose. You get that sharp aldehyde opening and the scent immediately hits you. Lefko doesn't have that. Lefko smells very similar to Blanche, but it doesn't have that sharp aldehyde on top of the notes. So it's much softer and much more of a skin scent without the sharp punch. But there is something very interesting I have noticed with this scent: It has sillage. When you stand completely still then the scent stays close to your body. But as soon as you move you actually notice the scent quite a bit. Basically the air travels the scent around and you get hits of whiffs. One would say: But that's what all perfumes do, no? Well, I wouldn't have mentioned it here if it wouldn't be unusual and extremely noticeable. Basically this scent comes to life as soon as you move. It sits super close to your body when you don't (no projection), but instead of projection it has great sillage. So as soon as you move the scent whiffs are actually quite strong. It's as if you need a little bit if extra mini wind to push the scent into your nose. So when you test this perfume: Test it when you hold your arm completely still and then give it another shot when you move the arm around. The difference is quite dramatic. I've never noticed it this strongly with other scents before and I'm loving this effect of Lefko. And yes: Blanche without the punchy aldehydes. Pretty spot on. I am in love!!!

If you’re looking for a musky lili-of-the-valley forward fragrance, Lefko is your perfect perfume. It such an innocent, crisp, soapy, powdery, rosy scent that it will conquer your heart. To be honest, it’s a straightforward fresh, floral perfume with a healthy dose of powderinnes and some creamy sandalwood in the dry down. It’s fairly linear, so what you get from the first seconds of application isn’t changing much until it completely disappears. Which is not that far away, because Lefko it’s almost a skin scent. Compared to other Korres scents, Lefko is very pretty, girly, soapy, floral scent that has a rather weak performance! So, if this powdery fresh floral is your thing, get ready to reapply throughout the day. Luckily, Korres perfumes are quite affordable so unlike other brands, at least they don’t charge you an arm and a leg for an EDT. Which all their fragrances are, EDT concentration.

I've been looking for an Avon pur blanca dupe that doesn't fade away after 3 seconds and isn't by a multi-level-marketing scheme company and baby this is IT! It's not as long lasting as I would like which is my only gripe with it, but it still lasts fairly well and it leaves a cloud of delicate flowery smell around me. I adore it. It smells very white floral and powdery, like flower scented baby wipes if that makes sense. It's also fantastically affordable and very good quality. I got this one after I bought a korres face serum in Greece (it's the yogurt one and I'm fairly happy with it too) and they gave me a small sample of this scent. The way I SPRINTED back into the store to get a full bottle after spraying it on me in the hotel room, sad they only had the mini one with the roller but once I'm done with it I'll be buying this one again for sure.

I've been looking for an alternative to Blanche for a good while now and tried many like the toy boy 2 (which is nowhere near this DNA) and pure musk (which is too soapy) but this! .. This hits the spot! .. definitelt scratches the itch and maaaaaaybe .. maaaaybe performs a bit better .. it's definitely not got that aldehydic fizz that blanche has which to some extent is addictive .. this is like drinking a soda after shaking out the gas .. it's still the same taste just not sparkling .. do i enjoy it! .. yes .. am i bothered by the lack of fizz .. no .. it's smoother, warmer and lasts longer .. i would stock up on this .. at this price i'm surprised it's not all over tiktok .. the most appropriately priced good musk scent i own .. well done!

I bought Lefko while I was on vacation in Greece, and now every time I wear it, it brings back memories of the beach and the relaxing atmosphere there. In my opinion, it leans more feminine than masculine, despite being marketed as unisex. I also think it's a safe blind buy because the scent profile is very straightforward and easy to appreciate. Longevity sits around 4–5 hours, but for the price, the quality and effortless wearability make it an outstanding everyday choice. I adore this perfume!! To me it initially smells strongly of sandalwood, I only feel vague hints of the other notes, but after a while I can distinguish the floral notes. I can definitely sense the lily of the valley. But the strongest smell of all is the sandalwood, which is the reason why I love it so much bcs it reminds me of the little Chinese fans my grandmothers used in the 90s and you could find them in the open air markets in the summer (I'm Eastern-European). The creator definitely managed to encompass a universal feeling of summer. Amazing!

If you like scents like "Le perce-vent" by Serge Lutens- just grab this one and run! Almost completely identical (especially middle notes and dry down), niche vibe on 100%. Amazing scent like sage with musk, but with some flowers on the top and less fresh. Great value of money! I am very happy that I got Lefko- have not been that happy about scent purchase for awhile. Korres, WELL DONE!

It’s on the same clean, soapy train with Byredo Blanche and MM Bubblebath but the dry down is very different. Lefko is more floral which makes it feel warmer but still clean, fresh scent. More on the musky than soapy vibe. Blanche is clean and cool, Bubblebath is clean and sweet. Lefko strikes a nice in-between, comforting clean-ness.

On me it only projects a very strong smell of laundry detergent unless I'm sweating - hot and sweaty skin allows the middle notes of rose and peony to fully bloom, and they smell like flowers submerged underwater, very dewy and refreshing. So I highly recommend it for the summer heat or any activity where you're going to sweat a lot.

This incredible fragrance smells like innocence and purity. I wouldn't say it's feminine, although it's so tender and crisp. I love the green notes and the powderiness. Lilly of the valley is very soft and subtle, and is not "grandma style". I've tried and owned many fragrances from Korres and so far this is the best one for me.

I am shocked that no one has compared this to Bubble Bath! It has the same clean soapiness and better longevity, especially for an edt. I certainly do not get incense. Strange how subjective scent can be. Anyway, I enjoy wearing this when I'm having a chilled day, maybe yo a yoga class or a brisk walk.

If you are looking for the beautiful scent of freshly washed, starched laundry, this is the right perfume for you. It does not have sharp aldehydes or fabric softener, but a creamy, starchy, delicately sweet scent of cleanliness. I bought it blindly, and it paid off.

I was sceptical but it does resemble Blanche. I bought it at a great bargain on Amazon and I’m delighted with the quality for the price. I need to explore more from this brand; it’s been on my radar for a while but I’ve always managed to miss it until now.

Imagine you’re in an Aegean country house built with sand stone. The owner just washed the yard with soap water and hanged newly washed bed sheets to dry. This parfume is what the breeze in that exact moment would smell like. It’s clean, cozy and happy.

Gorgeous fresh laundry scent - not too sharp and doesnt have that gross opening note that Lazy Sunday Morning has. To my nose smells exactly like Kakigori White Crush from Obvious. Not a "sweet fresh" but a "airy fresh". I like it

This is very unique...not a laundry scent at all...it smells so clean but doesnt have that fresh kick...opening is lily of the valley and drydown is like skin scent embalmed with honey and sun...very intimate...10/10

Amazing. It works very well with my skin chemistry. Smells literally like soap if that’s your thing. However, in comparison, I like Shiro by Masaki Matsushima a bit better (that one smells like an expensive soap or expensive body lotion). Projects quite well, but doesn’t last long (lasts an honest 2-3 hours), although it’s among the longest lasting Korres fragrances in my experience. My boyfriend says I smell like babywipes, I tell him I smell amazing :)) Right now I am using a 10 ml roller bottle (yes, Korres minis don’t come with a sprayer) and I might buy a full bottle once I’m finished. So for me, it’s quite a nice frag to have. Please test before buying. Edit: to me, it does resemble Byredo’s Blanche a lot. Overall: cute, 8,5/10

Turned out I don't know how Lily-of-the-Valley smells lol. Anyway, this is my first white floral scent and I genuinely like it! The sandalwood base is present too, I can definitely smell it under the flowers as I'm more familiar with this note. It's my first full size blind buy and I'm truly satisfied! I used to associate summer scents with yellow floral as they remind me of Italian or Spanish beach holiday, and now I know that there's also a Greek version of this. We used to spend our beach holidays in quiet part of Bodrum, Mugla, and after getting to know Lefko I know what was missing. Also, it's organic! Cannot believe that there are decent scents in this price range, especially in terms of clean formulas.

Now this is quintessential old lady The nice, always put together, chic old lady taking a taxi instead of driving her own car, just because she can. When I'm old, let's say in 20 or so years, I hope this is still available because that's the kind of smell I want coming from my old body. As for now, it doesn't suit me yet, even though it is a lovely smell, airy and light. The lily isn't as dominant as one might think, it's subtle. So is the rose. On first drydown I even got a fresh, almost minty kind of component that, sadly, left the building after 30 minutes What remained on my skin was hints of peony (the laundry one) and a bit of sandalwood (also rather the laundry one) Clean old lady. Lefko is both soapy and sweet, wet and fresh - I think of a wet sheet flapping on a clothesline in a summer breeze on a Greek island. The lily of the valley is the dominant note, with powder and musk, but the sweetness of the peony moves the lily of the valley closer to lilac territory. The white floral is tinged with pink and purple. It's definitely a spring-summer scent. I would guess there are unlisted aquatic notes and a laundry-detergent-but-better clean-ness to it. It's wonderful. I'd wear this with a white dress to the beach with a sunhat. It's fairly linear and has good lasting power for what it is.

A very “white”, fresh, pleasant, clean fragrance. It really does smell like freshly laundered clothes. I get lily of the valley and white florals in general, along with a touch of clean musk and maybe a soft powdery base. It’s perfect for hot days when you’re wearing a white cotton shirt or a simple white T-shirt and just want to feel clean, without any heaviness or overly “perfume-y” presence. Longevity is quite good - it easily lasts all day on clothes.

This thing smells like a baby. Not baby powder but the smell of a baby who has just been bathed. It's soapy, creamy and powdery all at the same time. It was nice at first sniff but I thought it was a bit sharp and wasn't anything special but the next wear, I smelled baby on my skin. I would literally hug myself. Longevity is weak to moderate but paired with the body wash and sprayed on clothes too, it lasts a good 7 hours.

First impressions: I find the initial top notes to be quite screecy and laundry liquidy, if you are prone to headaches maybe lily of the valley is not it. However, the drydown is very similar to Narciso Rodruigez Pure Musc - fresh skin scent. But I am blown away that it is possible to find such quality fragrances for this price. I feel like I want to have all of the Korres EDTs now.

I saw this being compared to Clean Warm cotton. I wouldn't say so. Warm cotton is to me pure fresh clean laundry. Korres Lefko is also fresh but instead makes me think of a very expensive soap. Classy clean. I wish it would go better with my skin chemistry because it's a beautiful scent. Lasts long on the skin, moderate projection. Test before you buy.

It smells like Byredo's Blanche without the screechy aldehydes and with a little more rose to it. Intimate and very feminine. Don't expect it to last though, even for an edT the longevity is very poor. It sits very close to the skin for three hours tops and then it's gone. Still very priceworthy though!

i have sample of blanche and full size bottle of this. i bought this after i saw that it might be a dupe and later on bought a sample of blanche. they smell NEARLY identical i wasn’t expecting this A T A L L so just buy it if you like blanche

I was looking for a good dupe for Byredo Blanche, as that one lasts no more than 2 hours on me and for the price it’s not justified, and I gotta say this does it for me. I don’t feel the need to repurchase Blanche anymore.

A comforting fragrance of lost memories in a field of floral peonies, and pink roses. The powdery musk is working hard and moments of the past are present again.

This smells so biblical and angelic, it makes me want to talk to people about symbolic cannibalism and the flagellation of Christ.

Right now, I’m holding the proof of all the money I wasted on my expensive bottle of Byredo Blanche.

Saw the reviews and thought this was going to be similar to Blanche and Lazy Sunday Morning but not really. As a man, I like it really. It reminds me of those laundry starch you use when you handwash your clothes. But, it is super powdery and floral-sweet scent to the point kind of headache inducing. IMO, It is heavily feminine and suits women in their 30s. However, I like the design of the bottle and the fact that the brand uses natural ingredients is really awesome. I definitely wish it was more of an airy scent but it is not bad. Longevity and projection wise, will last you for the day and I still get some whiffs of it at the end of the day.

This is the epitome of a soapy floral scent. Lefko is a supremely appropriate name, as this fragrance embodies the color white. It reminds me of the original white “ivory” brand bar soap. It’s definitely a clean laundry vibe. I wouldn’t describe it as airy, it’s rather intense even though it doesn’t project much unless it is over-sprayed. The dry down is much more pleasant to my nose as the heavy florals wear off.

I don't get anything soapy or floral from this at all. This smells very masculine and aquatic/leathery to my nose. Very much a summer freshie, but too masculine for me to wear on a regular basis. This straight up smells like a generic men's deodorant to me.

I'm so confused by all the reviews I've read on this. It does NOT smell fresh, or like cotton, or like a baby, or anything like that! It legit smells like the incense greek orthodox priests burn at church. The second I sprayed it on, I was immediately transported to church. It also kind of smells like an old lady -with a questionable taste in perfumes-. I usually love Korres but this is a pass from me.
