Midnight Dahlia

Tried this out in a store, spraying some on my arm and I immediately fell in love. Smells like a lovely berry syrup but the notes of cedar and others that lean more masculine stop this from being too sugary and almost make it feel a little fresh? At least not sticky iykwim, something that seems like it can be worn in summer without being overpowering. Definitely gonna be getting a full bottle of this soon! Edit: I now have myself a full bottle >:3 I will say the longevity isn’t the best on the skin but the silage is decent and it does last on clothes. I’m not too fussed abt that stuff tho (depending on the price ofc) more just the smell and I adoreee this, it makes me hungry despite not being a gourmand lol. As it sinks more into the skin it gets pretty woody and patchouli on me with no sweetness at all which I thought I wouldn’t like but I surprisingly do, has a sort of “skin scent” clean quality to it which is nice after the sweet berry smell. Just overall feels like the woods in a way? Anyways! Will be wearing a lot! I think it’s perfect for cold days.

I fell in love with this EDT instantly, it reminded me of Peony & Blush Suede (Jo Malone) for 1/5 of the price - makes sense, since the peony is so present. And, surprisingly, it has good fixation on my skin, which is rare for me. After reading the reviews, I realized that yes, it does also remind me of Sí (Giorgio Armani). But I'm not a fan of Sí and wanted to test the difference. Basically, I find Sí obnoxiously sweet, so the bergamot in Midnight Dahlia brings a much needed balance and makes the fragrance more tolerable and sophisticated. I'm in love with this one!

Midnight Dahlia really reminds me of Giorgio Armani’s older formulas of Si and Si Intense. It’s a syrupy sweet fruity floral with a decent longevity and projection. It’s also very gourmand leaning which I adore and has a strong patchouli in the background. Actually, this one and Vanilla Freesia are the better performing ones from the whole Korres collection. At least the ones catering towards females! I would definitely get a bottle because I personally prefer Korres version of Midnight Dahlia over current Si version that’s selling.

I bought this fragrance on a sale, without testing it, and I was absolutely surprised in a positive way. It is an elegant floral, extremely feminine, sweet without being overbearing (I am prone to headaches, but did not suffer with this one). I hope they don't discontinue the line, I would like to keep using this for as long as I can. PS: Longevity wise, not bad, lasted 6 hours on my skin. Projection is not spectacular, but for me with a sensitive nose, it was not an issue at all.

This is such a dupe for Delina by parfums de marly and a fraction of the price! I get lychee pretty strongly and it dries down into a sweet, delicious floral, fruity almost gourmand but not quite! There’s a slight powderyness that adds a sexy ‘adult’ element. Works well for day or night and is definitely more of a warm weather fragrance but could be worn in cooler weather to. I blind bought this and I’m so glad I did! It’s making me want to try more from Korres!

Absolutely gorgeous! It's crazy to me that this is an EDT, it's so strong. I love the opening, it's the perfect unisex fragrance. It dries sweeter and more feminine, really showcasing the Lychee and sweet notes. I wish it came in larger bottles! 50ml is not enough for me. This reminds me of Vivienne Westwood Boudoir for some reason? Though I haven't smelled Boudoir in years, it gives me the same "vibe" if that makes sense. Very classy scent.

Midnight Dahlia has the best longevity and sillage from the Korres parfumes I tried so far. I wouldn't recommend wearing it during summer, because it can be very headache inducing in the humidity. I love it so much on the colder days though. It's sweet, floral, slightly refreshing and has this feminine and seductive vibe (in an almost mysterious way), that makes it very addicting.

she's lovely!! since this is an EDT i didn't expect it to have crazy lasting power, which is accurate, but tbh i don't mind a re-spritz throughout the day! the notes are heavenlyyyy- the sweet, gourmand-ey lychee blends so nicely with the more woody-floral dahlia, cedar and bergamot. such a treat for spring, and hard-to-beat price point :)

I'm always on the hunt for a dahlia scent since it's my favourite flower. Dahlia is to me a very mysterious flower. I planted a bunch of them in my garden pots and they take over the whole show with it's presence. The dahlia is absolutely stunning. Midnight dahlia is a very appealing sweet ambery scent.

If you want a budget perfume GO FOR THIS! It is aboslutely stunning. Sweet and fruity, lasts a good time. The opening is juicy and the drydown is like the best candy you have ever had. Prominent lychee and raspberry. I LOVE IT!!

Purchased the roller bottle one and I LOVE!! It really is such a gorgeous scent, Deffs reminds me of Always Red and Si. I love the sweet notes in it. I find it a romantic scent that would be great to wear on a date night.

Dare I say this smells better than Armani Si. It doesnt have that cloying powderiness that armani does. It's sweet and fresh but a little mature at the same time, very good everyday smell.

Absolutely beautiful, interesting and enchanting. I love to combine this with Korres Cashmere Kumquat. They complete each other nicely. Only wish is more longevity. Still love it tho <3

Absolutely LOVE this one, only wish it was in EDP. This is literally a clone of Giorgio Armani Sì Rose! The similarity is uncanny even tho the notes seem different.

This is so yummy.. I was thinking of buying Armani Si but after testing it on myself I noticed it smells so similar to this which I already have and loveeee.

Love at first sight. It’s a deep, warm, and fruity scent. There is a sweetness in it, but not a synthetic one. I just wish it could last longer!

Blind buy at –45% off retail, and I’m glad I took the risk. I already own a couple of Korres fragrances, and what I love about the brand is this peculiar creamy undertone they all seem to share (to my nose at least) – almost like a Greek yogurt with flavoring. Maybe it’s just suggestion from the brand’s origins, but that smooth, slightly oily base note feels very comforting. Midnight Dahlia opens sweet and juicy, with lychee standing out strongly, wrapped in other sugary nuances. What surprised me is the drydown: once it turns into a skin scent, the sweetness fades and I clearly get a fresh citrus facet instead. Overall, a cozy yet summery fragrance, great for those who enjoy fruity-sweet openings that mellow into something lighter and more intimate on the skin.

I'm so impressed with Korres! In my search for perfumes with clean ingredients I came across this brand and I am so happy I did. The prices are unbeatable and the variation in their collection is impressive. Midnight Dahlia is not really my type scent, but I was charmed by how utterly feminine it is. I'm not a huge fan of the opening, but it turns into a beautiful scent soon enough. Pretty is the word that comes to mind. Very sweet and feminine Lasting power and projection is fine for an edt. I just apply generously and find that their perfumes doesn't feel overwhelming and nauseating like many traditional perfumes.

I've purchased this on blind buy and don't regret it at all. I don't like how it smells straight from the bottle but it works wonders on my skin! To my nose it opens sticky sweet, not headache sweet, but thick sirupy-like berries with something light on top. Throught the whole wear stays sweet, on dry down the woody notes turns. For me it's definitely a cold weather fragrance, perfect for day to night wear. The projection is not the best but I don't mind at all, combined with the fact that it's kina seductive and mysterious - perfect comfo for a date night fragrance. Stays as a skin scent for at least 5 hours on me

Evening and datetime blend. Reminds me of Lancome La Vie Est Belle and Si by Armani. It is intensely floral and intensely sweet. Peony-sweet notes-litchi-cedar-amber-patchouli. I have the roll-on version and was a bit worried it will apply too little, but it gives off a solid amount to last all day. It has a bit of a masculine edge that I dont care about. Might be a bit headache inducing during a day. It is beautiful straight from the bottle but, because of the masculine base, it is less than a like for now. But it creates a lovely fruity-floral sillage.

Juicy, sweet, sexy perfume. I don’t normally like sweet perfumes but I think this one works because the sweetness comes from the fruit rather than from gourmand-y notes like sugar or caramel. The fruit is also well blended with the peony, which gives it some maturity and sophistication. My boyfriend absolutely loves this on me (he likes sweet feminine perfumes whereas I usually prefer ones that are a bit more green and unisex). Sillage is really good for the first couple of hours and then it settles into a skin scent.

I received a little sample sachet from Mecca oh boy. It lasted 4 hours and the sillage was huge. My family members could smell it from the lounge room when I walked into the kitchen. So refreshing. It’s very comforting as well. It gives grandma vibes but at the same time a young person could wear it. I’m in love. It’s so nice I want to buy it. The dry down makes me wanna cuddle up under blankets and read.

I am not a huge fan of floral perfumes, but this one hits different! Reminds me of Nordic Midsummer and late summer evenings for some reason. I have good memories attached to this scent. Performance is good for an edt (perhaps better than in some scents that are marketed as edp). My nose picks up mainly dahlia, litchi and rasberry notes.

There is a blackcurrant note in this which they're hiding from us, or I'm going crazy. I think this is supposed to be similar to Si. I detect mostly fruits and wood. Unlike other Korres EDTs, it stays on for hours and is potent enough to fill a small room. Waiting for the EDP version to be released someday.

Beautiful, rich fragrance, smells much more expensive than it is. It's sweet and flowery with some fruity notes. Unfortunately, it reminds me of "old lady" perfume, so I won't be purchasing. But I'm sure lots of people would find it appealing!

At the opening it reminds me a lot of delina pdm. Then at the dry down it becomes a nice sweet fragrance, maybe like delina exclusive? I don't really remember the exclusive version. A nice perfume, average performance, worth the price tag.

Sensual, light, airy. I don't smell the commonality every other reviewer comments on as belonging to the memory of generically old perfume; lush notes of lychee, peony and raspberry combine for a full swell I keep returning to. Love!

It’s like a Frankenstein fragrance of about 5 or 6 fragrances in one. The patchouli and amber are overkill. It smells too dense and dusty to be edible. It’s strong for an eau de toilette though I’ll give it that.

It was driving me nuts trying to work out what this smells like. It's Liberte Impulse spray from the mid nineties. Like it for the 90s nostalgia, not sure I would buy a full bottle but was gifted and will enjoy.

a wonderful fragrance with striking similarity to Si by Giorgio Armani. after wearing Si for many years, i initially preferred this, but it just didn't last long enough on the skin in the way that Si does.

Very sweet in the opening after a while it is calming and it gives you the sensation of freshness with a sensual vibe. A nice not expensive parfum but not longlasting.. althought it stays in the clothes..

It smells like greek quince spoon sweet!

I have switched to mostly natural or clean perfumes only. This has left me longing for a special going out/evening perfume, as most of my scents are for daytime. I dont really like my Skylar rollerballs very much.😭 So I have been on hunt for a mostly natural evening scent. I purchased Midnight Dahlia and its drydown is very fruity, soft and pretty. However about 10 minutes after spraying I sensed a sharp bitterness to it maybe from the patch and it was à bit 80s and reminded me of Opium.😬 I was literally sitting at Starbucks wondering who doused themselves in parfume only to realise it was coming from me.😂 Yes it overwhelmed me in beginning. The drydown is the best part and it's still a very lovely scent but I'm just not sure this is for me. Update: I have returned Black Dahlia unopened. I decided it wasnt for me right now.

It's funny I got this last year and only wore it 3 or 4 times. I for sure thought I'd wear it this winter but haven't reached for it once. There is something about it I am not liking anymore. It happened after I bought Korres Bell Flower. It made me feel a bit unwell so I gave it away, and I can pick up the same DNA in Midnight Dahlia. Possibly the combination of cedar with gourmand notes is causing some sourness. This perfume is a lot like Armani Si. It has a similar vibe. It's very sweet and a bit heavy, not uplifting. It's 100% an evening/going out/cold weather scent.

It's okay. A really pleasant and mass-appealing unisex scent that leans more on the feminine side. Surprisingly light and fresh, with the name "Midnight Dahlia" I was expecting it to give off a more dark vibe and be more dense and earthy like Tom Ford's Black Orchid. Performance is below average which is acceptable being an eau de toilette concentration.

The days are getting warmer and I think that this perfume is perfect for these days! I really love the opening, it's quite fresh.

Ehh... too floral very little lychee smell. Disappointment but smells okay... I wish there is more lychee smell in this.

It's very sweet. I mean very syrupy, sweet, fruity, and cheap essential oil floral-smelling. Not going to lie, it's feminine and girly, and for the price and the claim of having clean ingredients, really nice, but for me, it was "get away from me" kinda sweet fragrance. So much so that I couldn't use it anymore, and it's new purpose was converted to being an air freshener, but then I felt wasteful and gifted it to a friend. If you are very picky about perfumes, don't blind buy this. From Korres a better scent in my opinion if you like a sweet gourmand would be "Black Sugar" and it's a way safer buy but you need to keep it in mind that though the perfumes are affordable they lack vibrancy, longevity and projection.

It has a rather powdery floral scent, not very sweet.A very mature scent. The floral scent and powdery notes are mixed together, so it doesn't appeal to me. Not very permanent The peony scent and dahlia is very intense, but the sweet notes and raspberry fragrance that linger at the end are pleasant.

It’s a great way to smell really old! It smells like dank rose, dahlia, and sugar. Feminine, strong. When I smell it, I picture myself walking past church pews and smelling the grannies that are all about primping and have the wrong shade of lipstick on.

this literally smells like impulse spray whose dumb ASS is paying $79 to smell like a 12 year old’s sleepover party when u can literally get that for $10 at woolies.

It smells so good in the bottle, turns metallic on my skin. Such a disappointment :(

This to me is a combination of La Rive In Woman/Armani Si minus the vanilla and the sweeter/warmer more oriental vibe of these, and La Rive Forever due to their common peony note and their fresh watery green elements, the aquatic watery lotus in Forever and the fruity aquatic Lychee note in Midnight Dahlia. So this is to me a more fruity, greener, fresher and aquatic version of Armani Si with a hint of oriental amber and earthy patch spice while the amber's sour/warm balsamic quality is lighter here. Same league is BBW Ivory Cashmere which lacks the floral and vanilla-sweet element of all the above and it's more musky and lighter, but it also carries that ambery sour cigarette smell of Armani Si and La Rive In Woman. I also have to add that Midnight Dahlia does not smell as balsamic ambery sour as the others since their Ambroxan gives this dry sour amber musk smell that I never liked, so the cigarette smoky sour smell is subdued here which is good for me. Here there is no sour, dry Ambroxan, just the amber while the sourness is fruity-floral from the raspberry-peony pairing, a much preferable tart source than the ambroxan and the black currant/black currant leaf (which is astringent- tart). Moreover, the black currant-patchouli make Si and In Woman more spicy than Midnight Dahlia. The patchouli here has the usual earthy dirty-peppery spice, but milder to me. It is also much greener and fresher than Armani Si and In Woman as I smell the bergamot in the opening intensely while the peony-lychee combo adds that green aquatic fresh tone, similar to the freesia of Si and In Woman, but more amplified and aquatic here hence why it reminds me partly of La Rive Forever. Peony is a light fresh note kind of green and it takes Midnight Dahlia away from the cloying oriental vibe of Armani Si, afterall fressia, vanilla, patchouli and rose are the mighty oriental sweet spicy element in Flowerbomb that we don't have here. I smell the Dahlia in the opening giving a rich, sweeter and deeper floral scent compared to the other watery fresh floral notes. It is accompanied later by the fresher peony, lychee and raspberry notes while the dahlia stays in the background. At the drydown I start smelling the cedar also with a greener woody "dry" aroma that keeps Midnight Dahlia fresh and earthy. I'd have liked some vanilla, but they were going for the fresh floral slightly oriental skin-scent type of fragrance with this and I love it. I rarely wear Si and In Woman because of how cloying and sour-smoky spicy they are, so Midnight Dahlia is a good more youthful alternative.

I received a small sample of this, but wow! I didn't need much. Excellent longevity and sillage for an EDT. The Amber, patchouli and cedarwood are possibly to thank for this. The peony comes through the strongest (to my nose), yet as it dries down, I notice the raspberry and litchi creep in to give it some zing. It's a femme fragrance to me. Could pass as a close sister scent to the Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming without the pepper berry, or a more luxurious alternative to Always Red (Elizabeth Arden). Feels like a bougie Summer evening scent, but with enough fruity notes to pass for Spring or Autumnal daytime wear. I would be keen to try the Korres range now - quite good for the price point!

Blind bought this based on Elena's recommendation in a Best in Show article for new and affordable perfumes in 2021 and have no regrets! It's a sweet litchi monster w/ citrus, flowers and patchouli. I also blind bought a couple more from this Korres line because I am nuts like that and they are all nicely done with accurate notes as listed on the bottles. Cheap thrills indeed.

This is a very beautiful fragrance that is perfect for summers at the beach. This fragrance is very approachable and is one of my favourite summer fragrances, however this fragrance has as much longevity as hand soap. Will need to reapplied nearly every 2 hours, and will fade completely after a time. Considering, it is still an incredibly nice summer fragrance for you. 8/10

Bought this perfume while in Greece so it has a special place in my heart! And it’s less expensive than buying in the US. The packaging is simple yet so cute. I would Midnight Dahlia it as floral, feminine, and beautiful. I love the lychee notes. It doesn’t last long at all. After 1 hr it’s barely there no matter how much I spray.

I wanted something fruity sweet but still with a hint of darkness that I could to spray on myself every day without breaking the bank. This hit the spot. I like it even more that it's not a common fragrance and I got on offer from Korres in the Black Friday sales.

This was a big no for me. It's a syrupy, headachey fruit-chouli and it smells exactly like many other celebrity/department store frags that have been done over the past 10 years. I have very much moved on from this sort of fragrance. Pass!

Its was very sweet but not overwhelming in the begging and as the time goes it starts to faint your skin but gummy bear with a hint of florals if that makes sense and I tried this while I was in the airport I’m definetly buying this
