Mountain Pepper

I just got a sample of this and I'm in love. For the first few seconds it's very masculine, cold and weird, but leave it for a couple of minutes it becomes softer and absolutely amazing. It's very citrusy and refreshing. As the different notes start to emerge it gets more and more interesting, the sage and the pepper are a very surprising, but harmonious combination. I just love it, I wish I had a whole bottle of this. I'll definitely recommend this to my dad too.

The shower gel version of Korres Mountain Pepper is an -almost- exact dupe of the original Egoiste Platinum from the 90s. I bought a full bottle of this and it smells amazing on me, just like the original Egoiste Platinum before its horrendous reformulation. A couple of spritzes (not more though, it is strong) and you're back to 1997.

This is an amazing everyday fragrance for men. It smells manly, fresh and isn’t something you’d smell on everyone. This is great for a man that doesn’t like overpowering or very sophisticated scents. This can be worn any time of day and for most occasions. Love it!

It is not pepper, it is mountain pepper which smells lemony fresh from Litsea Cubeba - the mountain pepper tree. It lists 3 layers, but this is all one layer from start to finish. It is a skin scent only which seems to be Korres’ intention so well done. If you’re tired of gourmands, it is a bright, refreshing summer scent for you and your nighttime snuggle buddy. I cannot see any reason to wear this other than with/without your pj’s. No worry about overspraying since it is an EDT with zero projection. I sprayed 10 times and crawled into bed. Nighty night.

I was expecting to be disappointed when i learned that the brand was sold... This is the 'new' version of the very enjoyable 'mountain pepper,bergamot,coriander'. Unfortunately, it is watered down and does not have this distinctive smell that the original has, it is designed to be more appealing. I did not bother to check for longevity, but since i did not get something coming out from my wrist up to my nose i guess there isn't any interesting longevity there. Such a pity

I have Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce and this smells almost the same. The difference is that Mountain Pepper is more natural smelling and easier to wear, while with Fierce, I have trouble wearing it. The downside is longevity, Korres Mountain Pepper doesn't last as long as I would like, I'm getting almost 5 hours, and with heavy spraying about 6 hours. It's still good considering the price.

Amazing cheapie. Classic barbershop vibe with some metallic feel to it. Very good alternative to Platinum Egoiste, high quality too!
