Premium II L'Eau de Parfum

Wow loving this fragrance. This is just an initial response. My bottle arrived today. Very refined yet manly. Girlfriend loves it too. She even detects a faint shiso (Japanese herb) note on sniffing the sprayer, though not on my skin. Good price - normal designer price, not stratospheric niche price. Also love that this has 82% natural content. I didn't get any weird physical reactions like a tight chest or a headache, as happens with certain fragrances. This product proves that you don't have to smell like a dirty hippie or accept poor sillage/longevity if you want a non-toxic perfume. Would like to see more companies following this trend. Sustainability in perfumes means more than just not killing musk deer, civet cats and beavers. It also means not killing your own perfume-buying customers. Very pleased with this fragrance. Will update if anything else observed. EDIT: Longevity not great on my skin after 3 hours. Will be interested to see how this performs in the warmer weather, however. Very difficult to see the spray hole on the sprayer button, because it is darker than the usual sprayer. Would be great if this sprayer (and virtually all other sprayers for every perfume company) had some tactile indication of the spray direction, because it's a waste to spray half of the spray into the air and only half onto your skin.

I am constantly baffled why this is called so much "tobacco". I think I have smelt the tobacco leaf powder in a cigarette in the past and I see no resemblance to that whatsoever. Anyway, I bought this as second hand and because the price was very good. After my first spraying on hand and clothes I thought it wasn't a good buy. But a week or two later when I tried it again, I liked it more, even to the extent I enjoyed it. There is an interesting chocolate-kind-of-sweetness in it which is very similar to Patchouli Indonesia by The Merchant of Venice. Both of these have tobacco listed as a note so who knows... For me this is still "tobacco" in quotation marks just like many other such descriptions as notes. This sweetness rather reminds me cardamom from the list of notes, if anything at all. All in all, very interesting AND evolving experience! Edit: the more I try this the more I like it. Having just compared Tom Ford's Black Orchid and this hand by hand, I can say that even though they are different and BO lasts longer, they are equally interesting and quality scents to explore. I kind of feel like the difference between these two is similar as in computer graphics where it is possible to swap colours of a picture, eg RGB -> BRG. Most interesting comparison to me so far.

I LOVE this fragrance SO MUCH! The smell is AMAZING.. It starts with a distinctive Cardamom & Slightly Sweet Tobacco, then as it dries down to a LOVELY sweet powdery tobacco and vanilla sweetness, it reminds me of the start of la nuit de l'homme, a light version of Herod by Parfums de Marly & Midnight In Paris EDP in the drydown. ***BUT**** I don't know if I got a bad bottle or something but the fragrance DOES NOT project AT ALL! The entire duration of this scent (around an hour) performs as a skin scent.. I mean this is worse than D&G the One EDT.. like seriously.. It's like they spilled out 90% of the bottle and replaced it with water...I am SO disappointed because the smell is truly something I could have had as a signature scent! :/ What's more confusing is the reviews that say it's strong and long lasting.. Do I have to leave my bottle mature? Did I get a bad batch? Who knows... I wish I did.

I'm a female, and I absolutely LOVE wearing this fragrance. I also like smelling it on a man. In my opinion, this is a very deep, sexy, intriguing scent. I purchased this a few years ago in Greece, and I'm so glad that I did. I've not smelled anything similar to this. I have a hard time differentiating the notes, however there is a predominant sweet tobacco note throughout the whole wear time. I also smell the cardamom (every so SLIGHTLY spicy) at the initial spray. Also, it's not noted, but I get a vanilla or chocolate vibe in the dry down. This fragrance would be great for Fall/Winter, but also for a Summer night. I also receive compliments when wearing this. However, I do wish the projection was a bit better. If you are a fan of tobacco scents, definitely pick this one up!

Female fan over here! I found this in the women’s fragrance section of TJ Maxx for $6.99. The box was already open so it wasn’t a blind buy. Love at first sniff! I didn’t realize it was labeled for men, and while the notes are traditionally masculine, I don’t find it masculine. I happen to love the smell of tobacco. It’s a sweet, clean unisex tobacco scent. I do detect a bit of vanilla, but it’s very subtle. Dry down is stunning. Sexy stuff! It has a ”Guerlian” feel to me. I’m pretty sure my husband and I will be fighting over it. Edit: I found this online. “ Eau de Parfum. Cardamom / Tobacco / Vetiver / Sandalwood Strongly masculine, woody and yet fresh, it combines the edgy, warm aura of sandalwood with the subconscious almost sweetness of vanilla extracts.”

This is a nice, very light sweet, spicy tobacco fragrance! It reminds me a lot of a super light version of Herod from PDM. It's a lot softer, not so sweet and has no cinnamon. It opens very nice with a strong cardamon note that reminds a little of la nuit de l'homme and then the tobacco, the vetiver and the sandalwood come out and goes in a Herod like direction. It's very natural smelling but is lean, it doesn't develop at all and after an hour you can barely smell it. It has moderate longevity 5-6 hours on skin and poor projection. Because it's so thin you can wear it all wear, even summer nights and is great like a light office scent. Overall, I love the smell but I hate the performance. If you can find it in a good price grab it!

It’s a beautiful tobacco scent. This was a blind buy and I did not regret it. I actually bought it for my partner (male) and ended up using it myself (female) quite often. I would say that this can definitely be worn by all genders. Longevity is quite good on me and projection is moderate. Vegan, cruelty free and great price point. Sad to find out that this was discontinued. This reminds me slightly of Herod by Perfumes de Marly - especially when smelled from a distance (although Herod is a bit sweeter to my nose and it’s a whole different price category).

Korres II EDP is as close as could get to the vintage YSL La Nuit De L'Homme (2010). Do I need to say more? However, it has its own nuances. It is less creamy and in a way, more masculine. The price bracket is another bonus. The performance is not as good though as LNDL, but hey, just keep an extra bottle on you! Best for cold autumn evenings but who am I to tell you when to use your juice?! Enjoy and have a nice day. 8/10

Absolutely gorgeous fragrance that is nicely balanced between warm spicy tobacco and sweet aromatics. Masculine, long lasting, good projection and with a truly amazing drydown. Good work Korres! Ratings Scent: 9,5/10 (amazing, love it!) Projection: 8/10 (strong for 2-3 hours) Longevity: 8/10 (7-9 hours on my skin)

Fantastic! It does not smell of smoke. It smells raw, damp, cherry seasoned tobacco in a pouch! Very masculine. The drydown is unforgettable.

A little piece of masterpiece but it's been discontinued.. Why,oh why?

I get a warm or “dark” coconut vibe from this. Might be from the cardamom/sandalwood and the darkness coming from tobacco. This reminds me of a much more subtle version of Dior homme as strange is it sounds. Very subtle scent that doesn’t last too long. Best worn summer nights. You can spray the heck out of this or layer with other scents. Projection is soft and will leave a small scent cloud around you. Longevity is about 3hrs on me. It gone pretty quick. It’s a pleasant scent but not one I’ll be repurchasing. 6/10 I also own Vetiver root/Green tea/Cedarwood from this house & the scent on that one is amazing with much better performance. Lasts pretty much all day on me. Currently my signature scent. Anyway there are much better options out there. Save your money

Ancak markaya karşı ilgim azalmadı. Aynısını söyleyeceğim, bulduğunuz yerde inceleyin. Mutlaka seveceğiniz bir parfüm bulursunuz.

An enjoyable light sweet tobacco aroma which opens with a strong dry cedar and cardamom but quickly fades down to the tobacco for the rest of wear. Pretty basic, but I have no complaints at $10! It smells old school traditional, like an 80s cologne my dad wears. I will update if I remember. The sweetness makes it unisex imo. Edit: according to dad the fragrance is ‘Cigar Commander’ the major difference is that cigar commander has a jasmine note and this one isn’t floral at all, but cedar instead

Argh yes, this does not smell like La Nuit at all. But whether I like it or not? I don't know. Nothing too special to my nose. Full bottle worthy: you could get this one quite cheap and the ingredients are claimed to be all-natural so it's a mere pass. Yes. 6.5/10 It's linear.

this is good stuff. sweet, tobacco, spicy.. the lasting power is incredible too.

I am a recent newcommer to Korres fragrances, and I have already fallen in love with their Vetiver Root, Saffron Spices, and Saffron Tobacco, which are available on numerous sites. Since I am already a convert to their products, I was very eager to get a bottle of this now discontinued "men's" fragrance (Premium I was marketed to women). Fortunately I found one on Ebay at a decent price. I just applied some an hour ago, and I have to say it is one of the most intriguing scents I've tried. That said, it is very much in line with the aforementioned Korres largely "natural" fragrances. The initial sprays are intense, complex and mysterious -- fresh yet warm and rich. As the scent matures, one definitely smells the tobacco (not smoke) but the smell of good, cured tobacco. The other scents (cardamon, sandalwood and vetiver) seem fairly equally balanced especially in the dry-down, ultimately being sweet (but not cloyingly so) and somewhat powdery. I'm going to guess that neither longevity nor sillage are going to be all that great, but IF you can find it for a decent price, and if you want something that is definitely unusual, give Korres Premium II a try. Otherwise, Saffron Spices and Saffron Tobacco, which are both still available here and there are good seconds. Of course, this begs the question, why doesn't Korres relaunch this formula?

Now discontinued. It’s a great fragrance with the same vibe as Midnight in Paris by Van Kleef & Arpels and Mercedes Benz Club Black. Getting extremely hard to find this hidden gem as well.
