Hello Kitty

I recently bought this as I was having a bad day and I thought back to 2010 when I bought this as an impulse buy... I was a huge weeb. It got me through a lot of hard times, the smell to me has always been one of comfort. The smell always lingered on my clothes, especially my coat and scarf, and that's what I remembered the most. Like burying my head into my scarf on a cold winter morning to smell this wonderful perfume; even though I hadn't used any that day. This to me, is a really, really, coconut heavy fragrance, and wonderfully so. It might just be my nose, but other than the obvious caramel apple, cherry notes, coconut always stood out the most; and vanilla close second. The first time around I bought this, a few friends thought it smelled like those automatic air fresheners you get in shopping centre toilets. I disagree, but take that into consideration, if you will. Also once someone said play dough, I honestly couldn't get the fact it kind of does smell like play dough out of my head. I personally like that, but I can again imagine for some, not so much. For an EDT I think this lasts a really long time. It's not that childish. It's a very sweet gourmand scent, but not entirely infantilised.

Hello Kitty is my signature scent. It is absolutely perfect in my eyes (nose)! I have been wearing it for almost 10 years. Everything about this perfume says "soft and sweet"- just like Hello Kitty! It's has a darling aroma that reminds me of coconut cream, strawberry cupcakes and baby powder. It's a little piece of fluffy heaven. I can definitely smell the cherry blossom and red apple notes mentioned here; but it's the praline and vanilla notes that last the longest- meaning you'll mostly be smelling sweet! For a fun bit of trivia- Hello Kitty was originally depicted with red apples, and is known to be "5 apples tall" in height. So for a Hello Kitty perfume to include the scent of red apples... isn't that adorable? Please note this is a very light perfume with short longetivity, but that is personally why I enjoy using it as my casual everyday scent. I prefer scents that aren't strong and instead give you a little soft kiss of delight, just like this one.

My mother sent this perfume as a gift for my daughter, who was twelve when she received it and still wears it now even though she's older! She started wearing it a lot more recently and it smells wonderful on her!! I tried it on myself, but personally I prefer Mercedes Benz Woman. It smells different on each person, just like any perfume, but when she wears it, it smells absolutely fantastic!! It has a very soft, sweet scent and reminds me of strawberries and cotton candy. It doesn't last as long as other scents, but this is probably because it is not a perfume, but an eau de toilette, which is meant to be lighter since it is made for kids. It smells like sweet apple baby dolls and really works with her skin! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a sweet scent for everyday use.

I adore this fragrance! It needs quite a bit of over-application to achieve a "moderate" sillage and longevity, but I don't mind. This is an extremely sweet perfume, I would say close to Bath and Body Works Be Enchanted on the sweetness scale. Initially I get a burst of apple, then the spun sugar, vanilla and praline. The coconut lingers in the background and appears more in the drydown, along with the floral notes and a light powdery musk. The vanilla is, indeed, "vanilla syrup", as it's super-sweet with no boozy or spicy undertones. The spun sugar is the dominant note throughout. While Hello Kitty is marketed to young girls, it is a fun and sexy scent for anyone.

I love it. I was afraid of it being a baby-like fragrance, but it's a bit more mature on me, all the mature a child fragrance can be. I'm really into sweeet scents, and after testing on my skin even my boyfriend, who never pays much attention to perfumes said it smelled like ''beach'' (coconut) and that he liked it. And I'm glad to have bought it, applied a spritz in the morning and now (night) I still can smell it.
