Hello Kitty Party

This is a cute perfume that cannot offend anyone, and also will not leave an impression on anyone unless they see the incredibly cute and girly bottle. The initial blast reminds me of Jessica Simpson's I Fancy You, which for me is very nice. It's juicy pear softened with a musky base. This stage lasts all of a minute though and then it's vanilla and musk with a trace of freshness that follows each whiff. I'm not sure if it's the cut grass note as it's just a suggestion of freshness, not a full-bodied note. The box says that one of the middle notes is 'fresh rose' and there is a hint of that before the vanilla takes over. The rose in this reminds me of Bvlgari's Rose Essentielle as they both have 'scented toilet paper accord' to me. I think it's the combination of musk and rose that gives me this admittedly strange association! Longevity seems quite good, but the power is rather weak. I think this would be nice used in combination with other perfumes.

this literally smells like fresh cut grass the second you put it on and then turns into a nasty smelling vanilla that reminds me of a cheap bodylotion. i bought a set of 5 minis at the duty free once, thinking all 5 would be different scents and i was super disappointed. i usually gift them to my girlfriends as a little extra because they look cute but i always tell them not to bother trying it because it's disgusting. I know there are hello kitty perfumes they sell at claire's that aren't listed here on fragrantica, maybe they aren't official ones or whatever but i'd say go for those rather than the Koto ones because those are actually surprisingly nice.

On me it smells like peach iced tea. Despite being a gourmand flavour i should like to wear it in summer. (Perhaps not on very cloying days though. But then again i might.) But this should be fine any season. Good for daytime but not much of a night fragrance, but as such, it is an edt. I have the gold version and it has stronger peach and vanilla and a touch of pear. Sweet and slightly fresh. It is also slightly seductive, but in a non direct way. She's subtle. Like a secret admirer. It is a well done blend of notes which is uncommon for hello kitty perfumes as those usually smell of weak sweet alcohol. (Take zaras hk for one.) Then again that one is quite recent and Hello Kitty products have gone down in quality with its latest hype. And the perfumes sadly, are no exception. The fragrance i have is from 2012 and it is just marvelous. I find it projects noticably to myself for a good first 20/30 minutes. Which is better than some high end edt i have. The sillage and longevity although are not that great. But once again, it is an edt. So i dont expect miracles. All in all, it is a nice fragrance for what it is. Pleasing combination of sweet notes. And like another user said, it shouldn't offend.

I personally don't smell anything in it except vanilla and it has a very poor staying power. Smells like a lighter version of The Body Shop - Madagascan Vanilla, which I already have. Love the bottle though, entirey adorable!! I am going to use this one cause my husband gifted it to me! (I love Hello Kitty, lol)
