Mont Suisse 67

Mont Suisse 67 was a Father's Day gift to my husband, and from the moment he started wearing it, I knew it had found the right home. This wasn't a blind buy. I discovered it while exploring the intimate Krigler boutique at the Four Seasons. With so many beautiful fragrances to experience, I took my time, letting each one unfold on skin instead of rushing to a decision. That's part of the magic of Krigler—you aren't just buying a fragrance, you're discovering the one that speaks to you. Yes, it's beautifully unisex. I could have easily claimed it for myself, but I didn't. Some fragrances become part of a person's identity, and this one became his. Watching someone genuinely appreciate a gift—and make it their signature scent—is far more rewarding than sharing the bottle. He wore Mont Suisse 67 throughout our time in St. Barths, and every time I smell it now, it quietly takes me back. That's what great fragrance does—it becomes attached to moments you'll always want to remember. Now, a year later, the bottle is nearly empty, and he's already asking for another. To me, that's the ultimate compliment. A fragrance isn't truly special because it sits beautifully on a shelf; it's special because someone reaches for it day after day until there's almost nothing left. Mont Suisse 67 didn't just become a favorite—it became part of his story. And as the one who gave it to him, I can't think of a better gift than one that's loved enough to need replacing.

If you are willing to pay the price for this wonderful scent do it! Krigler scents are difficult for me, they are VERY unique and old school and old money scents. The brand goes heavy on the powder, not a lot of freshness in their line but there are some exceptions and they are spectacular- Chateau 12 and Mont Suisse being my favorites. From Mont Suisse I get light citrus, a touch of pear or apple or pineapple, a very beautiful musk and a bit of sharpness from spice throughout. It wears beautifully on my skin, projects moderately, and is perfect for intimate spaces like work, planes, etc. It is supposed to evoke memories of looking out of the window at snowy crisp Alpine mountains while you just freshly showered and are relaxing by the fire and honestly - yes it does. I love scents that have me smelling my wrist all day, just to get a reminder of the goodness. If I could compare it to anything, I would say it smells similar and evokes the same feelings in me as Wulong Cha, though I wear Wulong on a hot day to help myself feel cooled down, and I wear Mont Suisse on a day I want to remain centered calm and relaxed. It is beautiful, but yes very expensive.
