I've never smelt anything so warm and so sensual before. At least not yet. This fragrance made me think I like oud a lot more than I do. The oud in this parfum smells like a feeling, like warmth. Not a fire, not straight oud, just warmth. How do you bottle a feeling like that? It is deep, it is enigmatic. It is everything I love and instantly became my signature. The Amber, the musk, the oud, the spice. Please get a sample and dedicate a day to only this perfume. Also, I personally find that its projection is great. Definitely not a skin scent! It's not obnoxious though. The perfect amount of sweetness with all of the sexy amber oud and MUSK makes that such a seductive scent. I can't get enough! I also, so far, stay away from any kind of citrus because I figured it would remind me of cleaning products but the bergamot in here is not too noticeable to me at all. It's formulated in a way that makes all the notes in here seem like it needs each other. I don't think anything is overpowering the other. The only overpowering thing I get is the feeling of sexiness and warmth. A succubus perfume for sure.

I cannot believe for something so expensive it disappears so quickly!! I barely had time to discern any notes (and mostly oud) before it disappeared forever! And I have skin that will really hold a scent longer than others will. Believe me when I say it was completely gone before two hours were up. Highly disappointing!

I do get longevity with this scent. I like it & find it a little reminiscent of vintage Youth Dew (but much better imho). I’m not saying it smells just like that but it has that sort of feel & a vintage type sensibility. There’s oud listed in the notes but I can’t say I decipher tons of it (maybe it’s just smoothly blended). I do have a gripe though with Krigler & it’s their samples-they are HORRIBLE!! Overpriced for sure, stupidly so, but that’s not my main issue. For starters they’re in plastic & not glass. More frustrating is that they’re not sealed-so your $25 (or more) sample will evaporate. I’ve purchased 9 samples I think from them and most of them evaporated quite quickly. Some I’m pretty sure weren’t filled up much to begin with. And you’ll get color from the black plastic in the perfume. I swear it makes me want to completely write off this company but I do like some of their scents-some of the new ones in particular. But am I going to buy samples-HELL NO!! I complained at the Beverly Hills Boutique & it didn’t sound like they were hearing anything they hadn’t heard before. I need to send an email because it’s really unacceptable.

Topaz Imperial I often hesitate with spraying fragrances with Oud on skin, at least until Ive smelled on a tester strip first. This is one I’m glad I didn’t hold back. Of the brand’s scents I have tried so far that have the Krigler signature “DNA”, this is my clear favorite. I suspect it’s because the oud offers a contrast or “grounding” to the sweetness. In addition, the dominant notes of amber, vanilla, and sandalwood give it a seasonal coziness that could double as an exceptional winter or holiday candle. I perceive that part of that is due to the creamy nature that fortunately doesn’t quite go “waxy”. With superb blending, this has an even better sillage that has an ability to just float across a room. The element of surprise...I dont wear a lot of oud-containing fragrances. With that said, this is in strong contention for the favorite that has ever made it on my skin. Of the Krigler “cedar sweet” scents, this one is at the top.
