Ultimate K'Oud 75214

Even if this is not much of an oud, Krigler's Ultimate K'Oud oozes high class perfumery. It simply smells expensive (and it is...). Strong on cardamom, violet, pepper and yuzu, but the truffle is also detectable. Has a "clean" feel to it, without being soapy at all. Every time I wear it, it garners compliments, it leaves a soft trail. I have even been stopped by strangers at the mall who told me I smelled divine when wearing this. More people should discover this one, such a shame that the whole line is so expensive. But the quality is unquestionable, that's for sure. Performance is above average, sillage for days!

The darkest scent of Krigler's that I have enjoyed so far. Probably thanks to the violet within. It also makes me think of lavender, as grown in my own garden decades ago, when I even dabbled in making my own Eau de Cologne. A gentleman dressed to the nines, as the saying goes.

Apparently designed for the King of Jordan. Well, is must be said his highness , the King of Jordan must be the most reserved private introverted among all the royal houses. Most of the Krigler line, including Cosy Cedar share decent not great performance and still somewhat admirable aspects to their scents. Ulimate K oud is just too underwhelming, even on cold nights where scents like this one should really blossom. Actually turns into a skin scent and barely so after an hour. Overall impression is of a really light Mugler Havane, more properly the trace of a Havane on skin a couple of days after applying. Now we are talking poor projection, below average longevity an zero sillage. Again, all tested on a cooler night and overall feels like quite a let down. 4/10
