Krizia Uomo Istinto

Unfortunately to my nose, I do not find this fragrance to be powdery at all. In contrary to the two persons who agreed that this fragrance is very powdery. To me the kind of powdery that would make my head spin would be such found in a fragrance like Midnight In Paris. To me personally this fragrance was a big disappointment. Not to say the fragrance is completely bad. I am just saying this fragrance is not at all what I expected and not at all of my taste. To me this is a peppery, just a bit sweet ( slightly sweetened by the juniper berries and the amber ), kind of watery and not so well blended. Or could it be that I received a bad bottle / batch? I would say this is a try before you buy fragrance. If blind bought just like I did you may end up with an unpleasant surprise. In the end, each of us have different ways in how we experience certain fragrances.

Istinto brings so many good memories. Being my first scent it helped me step into the world of fragrances with joy and impatience. Quite a strange choice for a first cologne as this is not a popular edt. On the other side it is a very good way to begin - istinto is not complex, it's very linear i must say. But it is great nonetheless. It is warm, intimate and sweet. Based entirely on amber and incense. Though the rosemary and pepper give it a spicy feel. Recommended. ***(**)

I bought it today and i don't regret it. The drydown is marvelously powdery, makes your head spin (in a good way). Definitely a head-turner!!!
