speaking as someone who lived in korea and has been to many a kbbq, i don't think this really evokes that. to me it smells more like a fuckboy line cook who put on a great cologne before his shift and now the food he cooked and sweat has melded with that scent. which is honestly.. kinda hot? dsjdsfhhdsfsdsdfh their website lists notes of grilled food, caramelized onions, and chili peppers that aren't listed here. i definitely get the chili peppers, it's very smoky and spicy with a hint of sweetness from the sugar. it doesn't sound like it should be wearable on paper but i actually love it! wish it lasted longer but otherwise is really great. overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷🩷💔 4.5/5

the only reason i got this is because of baekhyun's review and honestly it is pretty much on point, lmao. it's such an interesting scent. it really does smell like a sweaty line cook who chain-smokes. it smells sweet and caramely on dry down, with a slight twinge of musk and a smokey note. when i sprayed it, it is the same smell as walking past a smoker who is maybe a bit musky but is also wearing some perfume to cover up the stink. i don't see any notes or comments on the cigarette smell but i swear it is the first thing i pick up! maybe that's what is meant to be the smoky korean bbq smell? anyways, it smells so, so good and so sexy. 3.5/5, i just wish it lasted longer!

Pocha Bar is a unique SAVORY gourmand done perfectly! It smells like hanging out with your friends at your favorite korean bbq restaurant: the scent of sizzling meat and soy sauce is filling the air mixing with beer and laughter. It's fun, cozy, unique and perfectly wearable even though the note pyramid might look otherwise. I wore my sample to the office and got a couple of compliments from my colleagues who usually have little to no reaction to my perfume choices 🤣

For all you weirdo savory freaks out there (like me!!!) This smells like a kbbq, like how soy sauce and sugar and MSG and onion all taste, with a bittt of burnt pepper in the back. There is something sweaty about it, almost a little stale, but it’s in a good way (I think it’s the beer)? Also, the steam accord hits just right. This smells like a pot that has been in continuous use all day. Bizarre!

The combination of the steam, soy sauce, and beer combine to create a super nostalgic scent. I wasn't sure how I would feel about it looking at the notes, but it definitely brought with it many fond memories and a cozy inside at your favorite restaurant/bar on a cold night. The sweetness is uplifting and there's almost a woody vibe to it as well which makes it even more enjoyable!

Weird but cool savory gourmand. Sweet and sticky soy sauce with bubbly beer and musky steam and sprinkles of sugar in the base. Smells like the epitome of street food on a humid summer night, and somehow as foodie as it is it’s still surprisingly fun and enjoyable

I am completely floored by this scent! It’s sugary and salty and absolutely intoxicating! This is so surprising wearable. Think, leaving Korean bbq and smelling like all the food. But in the most intentional, sexy and crispy version of that smell! 10/10!

dries down and smells very sugary, but not as powerful as other gourmands. smells like napkins at dim sum, steamed bread. the soy sauce note is strong and very singular. love it.
