Matcha Latte

The green tea mints from Trader Joe’s comment is right on and made me laugh. It’s important to like mint with this perfume. It’s like a creamy matcha latte dosed with mint. If that appeals to you this maybe it. The matcha comes in second or even third in the mix. Mint, matcha, musk and light sandalwood. I unlike some other reviewers still smell the matcha long after I put it on. The longevity is average.

Matcha Latte was my favorite from the discovery kit. It opens fresh, green, and slightly minty, with a beautiful matcha accord softened by creamy milk notes. As it dries down, the fragrance becomes smoother, revealing a lovely minty sandalwood base that feels comforting and refined. Sweet without being heavy, it's an easy-to-wear gourmand for matcha lovers. 💚

Wow, you get that real matcha tartness and bitterness right away — it's so authentic! Then it softens into this smooth, creamy latte feel, and after a while a subtle floral note comes through too. Love how the scent evolves through so many different stages. The dry-down especially is so lovely — that's what really got me. 🍵

i'm pretty neutral on this one, maybe even leaning a little negative. i was really hoping for a cozy matcha latte experience, but i do not get much matcha at all. maybe a split second of it in the opening, but even then it feels bright and almost floral rather than earthy. as it dries down, i mostly get a minty musk.. which unfortunately is just not for me. i kept waiting for the matcha to come back or for something creamier to develop, but it never really happened. as a little side anecdote, i was running errands with my mom while wearing this and she commented on it three separate times?? every time i got back in the car she'd ask something relative to if i was wearing perfume/is that me, or tell me she really did not like it. according to her i smelled like a grandma's attic, like dusty old perfume that only older women would wear. at one point she even rolled the window down because she thought it was that strong 💀 i'm not sure i agree with her assessment entirely, but i figured a second opinion was worth including. sadly, my search for the perfect matcha fragrance continues.

This one is such a disappointment. The opening is actually absolute perfection. A powdery matcha latte that becomes minty, with a hint of a cookie. And then, after about 30 minutes comes the sandalwood, which takes over after about an hour. And that’s all that’s left.
