Golden Sky

it makes me feel like a mini marshmallow that someone could pop into their mouth at any moment

this is Golden Sand without the spicy/woody undertones. like others, I get that plasticky 'doll head' opening along with some vague fruits. however, as it dries, it turns more and more into a very sweet, syrupy vanilla. it's very warm and comforting, and it would make a good layering oil imo. I'm not getting as many of the notes listed as I'd hoped, but I still like it! for the price it's a solid offering. I won't repurchase, but I will enjoy it while I have it.

This is like a "doll's head" scent, a plastic-y vanilla and slightly powdery rose. The amber is a tertiary note on my skin, it's golden, but not spicy. The fragrance gives a soft impression, but actually projected a bit, initially, in the cold weather today. I swiped a sample on one wrist and could catch whiffs of it just walking outside with my arm down by my side. After about 1.5 hrs, it was more intimate. It had mostly faded after 4-5 hrs.

This is the closet dupe ever to MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold. I have Gentle Fluidity Gold and I purchased Golden Sky and they are pretty much 95% a like; sweet but non gourmand golden vanilla that doesn’t smell like cupcake. Golden Sky wears beautifully as well and for a long time; i can’t believe it’s that good for the price! I don’t care about affordable scents, I like all types regardless of price and this doesn’t smell affordable, it’s almost on par.

This is prettier than Vanilla Woods, it's an airy version with vanilla and Carmel notes. This stays true and doesn't fade to anything syrupy. I saw this advertised in Good Housekeeping and I've had nothing but luck trusting their recommendations.
