Sedona Journey

I love it when I find a hidden gem....this perfume is like a diamond ring in a box of crackerjacks. There is so much going on in this amazing blend, much more than "earthy, spicy and woody notes"- the same can be said of L'air du Desert Marocain (this fragrance is in that same style.) There is definitely coriander, amber, wood, citrus(?) and many other gorgeous notes that are so well blended my nose is having trouble picking them out. It's definitely a dry, spicy desert fragrance with a certain brightness to it. This perfume blooms in the heat. A perfect summer fragrance that rivals even the most iconic niche scents.

This is really beautiful. Pretty and sweet, with amber, woods, and spices. It comes across as a cola kind of scent, and reminds me of youth dew a bit. Not that they smell the same, but both carry a lovely cola note. I ordered 6 different scents from the website and this was my favorite of the bundle. It's second place overall after my #1 love Amber paste. Note: I don't pick up any soil type of scent like shown in the notes above.

This fragrance is beautiful. It reminds me of a castle I visited, Chateau de Chillon in Veytaux, Switzerland. I sometimes use Kuumba Made oil fragrances and dab just a dot on the pulse points and then spray on another perfume and it gives that perfume complexity. A little goes a long way. This one is a great one for layering.

One of the only times I wore this out, a woman commented that I smelled like sweet, ripe pineapple. I can't unsee that, but I also get sweet, creamy woods. It has a sweetness that is somewhat reminiscent of a very clean porta potty. I can also get the baby oil references in other comments. I really cannot decide if I like it or what to layer it with, but I've held onto it for years. It definitely projects more than you'd expect for a little rollerball of oil!

I think Sedona Journey is softer and sweeter than Amber Paste (from the same brand). Sedona is like a woodsy baby oil, slightly citrusy. I think this would be great for layering... For those who wear this, what do you layer this with?
