Tunisian Patchouli

Tunisian Patchouli by Kuumba Made: Behold the King Of Patchouli. This is the best Patchouli fragrance I have ever experienced. There is something different about this Patchouli that is like no other. There is something else in this Patchouli that they are not telling us. Whatever it is, it is magical. This is my all time favorite fragrance oil. It is absolutely stunning. I get insane amounts of compliments when I wear this God-like aroma. Women follow me in stores, trailing closely behind me breathing in its enchanting aromatic spell. Men pull me over demanding to know what I am wearing, commenting on how awesome it is. Women have shoved their noses into my neck and sighed and even screamed with pleasure from the smell of it. Some have licked me, kissed me, hugged me, smeared themselves on me to get the scent on themselves. This Fragrance oil is a people magnet. Kuumba Made has literally thousands of my dollars from years and years of purchasing their amazing Tunisian Patchouli, I am one of their most devoted and loyal customers. I agree with the others. The scent profile is rather similar to Lush Karma, with lemongrass, fennel, lavender, and all, but Tunisian Patchouli is earthier and more natural smelling. A warmer, deeper patchouli note. Real orange oil rather than the fruity musk "orange creamsicle" scent of Karma. I think Kuumba have included their signature "black tea" note in the blend as well. It's lovely stuff. The oil doesn't last as long as my Karma EDP spray. Still, I'm very impressed with it.

I have the rollerball. This is my favorite patchouli, it's AWESOME!!!. It has a zen like quality, comforting. It's a very sweet patchouli, earthy exotic,smooth,rich and creamy. It has more than patchouli in it. It's not listed but I think it might be vanilla, amber, a floral musk or frankincense? It's great whatever it is! It last a long time on clothing and skin. Great for layering. I rate it a 10/10 Their Kuumba Made Amber Paste is also 10/10

This is the most beautiful Patchouli I have ever smelled. I know it is extremely odd to describe Patchouli as beautiful, but trust me on this. It is very clean, strong, and fragrant. This definitely has "garden" notes that are not listed, I just can't pinpoint them yet. There seems to be a slight musk undertone as well. This is something you can wear alone or layer under any perfume with the note. I can't wait to try this under Coco Noir.

This has to be the best straight-up patchouli fragrance ever. It’s raw, earthy, alive and unapologetic. There's a liquorice, fennel haze that follows this around too. It reminds me of Lush’s Karma, back when Karma was the only scent available from Lush. This is my second favourite from Kuumba Made after Amber Paste. I’ve just layered them together and I’ve created Heaven.

If you love Neutrogena Rainbath, like I do, you will ADORE Tunisian Patchouli! Warm, basalmic, earthy patchouli with nuances of citrus. There's some dirt and moss too, and something vaguely white floral peeking out from underneath all of the foliage and earth - jasmine or neroli? Like standing barefoot under a sun streaked canopy of trees in the middle of the forest.

I almost never wear this scent on its own, but as a base layer underneath other scents this is guaranteed to add profundity, sensuality, and intrigue. Outdoorsy, rainy, mysterious, adventurous, intimate. Reminds me of a hollow tree near a river that had been struck by lightning which I used to hide in as a child.

Damn, this is good stuff! I wasn't expecting a patchouli with this kind of sweetness. Doesn't smell dirty at all, and it doesn't have much of that "wet" quality that I associate with most patchouli. Easily one of the best Kuumba oils in their lineup.

I bought this several years ago and wasn’t a fan. I went through my stash this summer and wow, it got so much better! I love it. Actually ordered another one so I can enjoy it later.

Literally like they bottled what playing outside as a kid in summer smells like. The most nostalgic scent ever.

Very strong patch. But its not too dirty, its like a citrus patchouli. I prefer sweet and rich patch, but this isnt bad. It actually reminds me of Tom Fords White Patchouli. :)

A less dirty, more sweet and balsamic patchouli oil. Really comforting. Sadly, the performance is pretty poor. I couldn’t smell it anymore after a couple hours

Kuumba Made's Tunisian Patchouli + Egyptian Musk = absolute heaven!

I got this a few days ago, from Amazon, and I am trying it for the first time. This doesn’t smell at all like patchouli. I love patchouli. What I’m getting is a not-very-sweet jasmine. It’s ok, but it’s not something I want to wear. Maybe someone slapped the wrong label on it. It smells like the description of Kuumba’s Tunisian jasmine.

I put a dot of this oil onto my upper wrist as I was leaving Sprouts after grocery shopping. I love patchouli in fragrances but haven't worn it as an oil like this. Wow. This stayed on through hand washing and I could still smell it at bedtime. I'm going to grab one next time I go shop. The only other KM I own is Amber Paste (love it) and for $10 these little nuggets are pure gold. I'd probably be on a kick where I wear this every day for a time. It is really beautiful. Patch lovers should get this. As this wore on it reminded me of the dry down of Today Absolute which I really adore and have BU of.

Very nice patchouli in a roll on bottle. It's not a dark, heavy or spicy patchouli (all of which I do like). It's a little softer than those kinds because there is a hint of something in here that sweetens it a bit that I can't put my finger on. Some kind of Tibetan incense? Egyptian musk? I can't quite figure it out. Something. It's a lovely patchouli, and the tiny roller applicator makes it easy to just use a dab if that's all you want. I bought it at Whole Foods for $10.50

One of the best basic patchouli oils I have found. Some other note - I'm not sure what - sweetens this composition. You get your lakewater patchouli on application, then you get to enjoy a sweeter, richer patch for several more hours. I loved how my denim jacket smelled a day after wearing this. I have also layered Kuumba Made under other patch dominant perfumes to warm them up.

Update: yes, it has a Brut like smell, but there is a lot of patchouli smell. Not sure why I didn't think so initially haha. Decided to blind buy this one. No patchouli smell pretty much. Smells like Brut or something. Licorice, lavender, etc, old school barbershop. Confusing haha.

Love the balance of this. Just enough sweetness. Just enough dirtiness. As somebody has already alluded to, lovers of Lush’s ‘Karma’ will probably love this too. A little less sweet with a nice subtle liquorice note running through it.

Spicy patchouli; easy on the dirt, but it is there. It's airy somehow too. I would even wear this in the hottest summer. Perfectly unisex of course.
