I love this fragrance. It is truly beautiful. I originally bought this and amber paste from the same house for my mother, as we both loved them. She has a white ginger plant by the back door, and this is the smell that perfumes the yard for months in the summer when it's blooming. Being a fragrance oil rather than an EDT or EDP, it is very linear, but that's fine with me as the scent is to die for. For those of you not familiar with the white ginger flower, it is a gorgeous, tropical, thick, creamy, white floral scent. Think along the same lines as tuberose, gardenia, etc., obviously not the same scent but in that category. As far as longevity goes, I can put it on at night and still catch a faint whiff of this in the morning. Be careful when you put it on, however; while this is a pretty innocuous scent, it, like all of the Kuumba Made fragrance oils, is a sillage monster when first applied. 7/10

Transcribing for a friend: "It's still there. It smells really good, because the smell reminds me of pea soup even though it doesn't smell like pea soup." (My daughter wears this, and she has funny scent associations. But it smells amazing on her. I don't get any incense from her; this is a gorgeous white floral that carries freshness far and wide, while at the same time it has a sophisticated or rougher animalic aspect to it. Not dissimilar to Patou Joy--at least on my daughter, who is a kid.)

As a man, I thought it would be too floral for me to pull off but this has become one of my daily go-tos. It works great on my skin and projects a fresh, floral incense aroma that I think is great. It's definitely a strong exotic floral but for me is becomes a little smoky/musk/incense vibe and it's awesome. Layers well with Kuumba Made's Persian Garden.

The sillage is amazing. Outstanding sillage carries beautifully on a breeze. I find the scent heady and at times overwhelming but for those with more experience, this may be very enjoyable.

I do not pick ginger from this at all. This literally smells exactly like pure poison! And I love this perfume so I don't mind. Very long lasting too
