Wind Dancer

I was given this rollerball fragrance about 3 years ago for my birthday from my sister because she thought it smelled like me. (Must have reminded her of my other, more expensive perfume that I love, and I'll mention it, below.) I'm wearing Wind Dancer right now, and I put it on this morning. It has a warm hug scent that sits close to the skin but lasts all day. No one will smell this unless they're within a 4 ft radius of your body, which is exactly how classy perfumes behave. It gives me the feeling of wearing a warm, fuzzy, cozy blanket made of cashmere in front of a sweet smelling fire at dusk while sipping a hot cup of cocoa. I love this! Inexplicably, KuumbaMade Wind Dancer makes me think of the comforting smell of chocolate... But it's a powdery chocolate (?), if that makes sense. The closest perfume to this that I can think of is (the expensive) Serge Lutens Clair de Musc, which I also own, but that perfume is a slightly cooler scent, whereas this one is its warmer, more longer-lasting twin sister, and is (luckily for me!) way more affordable! Since Clair de Musc has been discontinued in smaller amounts, (I cannot afford $300+ perfume in bulk at the moment, thank you very much!) I will continue to purchase Wind Dancer. I actually think it is superior in pretty much every way.

Smells like a comforting hug from your grandma. Musky, powdery, sweet, and floral. Kinda reminds me of baby powder. Not complex at all, but sometimes simple is best. I like this one, the others were right where this is a perfectly safe office scent. I know simple frags can get ragged on, but I feel like it's hard to find a fragrance that does it well. Would recommend.

This perfume oil has the vibes of walking through a greenhouse that is full of white flowers in a freshly washed linen dress just before spring turns to summer. The sillage is pretty close to the skin unless you are glistening with sweat, then everyone will want to know who smells like a fresh shower and clean sheets.

Very strong lily of the valley with powder and a tiny bit of musk. Reminds me of Chanel No. 5 l’eau but with some scented baby diapers with a tinge of baby shampoo and a whole lot of sharpness. This is a pass for me. If you like sharp, lily of the valley forward, old fashioned fragrances, this might be a fit. Updating... I woke up the next morning and could smell the most beautiful, powdery smell. After 8 hrs, this dried down to something I loved. The sharpness had disappeared. But I’m not willing to wait 8 hrs before I start enjoying a perfume

Smells like a "clean laundry" essential oil for your oil diffuser. Can't say I found anything interesting about it. 4/10

This scent is unique, I really do like this one. I haven't smelt this scent in the fragrance world before, and I have quite a few fragrances.... I can't think of any other perfume that it's similar to. On opening the bottle, it smells so fruity and fun. On skin and fabric, it's soapy/baby shampoo or baby powder, and a mild citrus scent. The projection isn't great though, you can smell it on yourself throughout the day, if you place your nose where you sprayed it. I think this would be a safe office-scent, others probably won't smell it.

Musky and powdery. A little dated especially in the opening. Reminds me of what clothes in an antique store smell like. Wouldn't recommend it if you don't like mature perfumes
