Cosmic 2.0

I’m wearing this right now, and after reading the first several posts, I’m laughing. I’m laughing about how subjective scent is. Because I promise, this smells NOTHING like Baccarat Rouge 540 (I own both) nor any of the three Ariana Grande Cloud fragrances (test-drove all three). There’s no cotton candy, saffron, hedione, ambroxan, or iso e super in this scent at all, but again🤷🏻♀️, fragrance is a subjective thing. However, there is one scent out there for reference if you own it and are considering buying Cosmic 2.0. It is fairly similar to Cosmic 2.0 but certainly not the same— Ariana Grande’s God Is A Woman, which I tried hard to like, but just couldn’t. The resemblance between these two is largely due to the pear accord that the two share. Cosmic 2.0 is what I think GIAW could have been. However, the pear in GIAW smells slightly artificial and bitter somehow. Not being a photorealistic juicy pear, it’s sharp and vaguely chemical. 😕 The composition of this with other notes in GIAW seem a bit discordant, like they can’t quite come together and play well with each other, while in Cosmic 2.0, every note is delightfully smooth, so beautifully blended and balanced. The flacon design of both the Cosmic fragrances are fantastic and feel nice in my hands. Unapologetically showcasing ample motherly curves, the bottles bring to mind those small, carved ancient archeological representations of female fertility figures. So very cool.😎 And that lushly spiced opening, with the expansive bloom of pink pepper in the top notes, oh my GOD! It’s like a drug, it’s glorious! I love wearing this to bed, because I get to wake up with my skin and sheets delicately scented with Cosmic 2’s delicious dry down—a sweet, warm, and cozy musk-like fragrance. I like how the dry down of this echoes the opening of the og. Was that intentional perhaps?Possibly. In any case, this cuddly skin scent in the closing is pure Heaven.🤤🤤 Tl;dr—Sillage is definitely above average and longevity is really good, I don’t find myself needing a freshening up until around the 6 hour mark. I suppose it goes without saying: I had to buy myself the biggest bottle on hand at my local Ulta, because it’s just that damned good, and anything smaller simply won’t suffice. Phenomenal juice!

this has the same problem for me as the first version... short longevity. i do think this lasts longer than the first one though! this is sooo yummy, a nearly perfect flanker. it does have the same dna as the original, except it’s sweeter and creamier. like the first version, it makes you feel beautiful while wearing it. this smells nectar-like, maybe from the pear? original cosmic is soapier and powdery, cosmic 2.0 is the opposite of that (to me). they are sisters with opposite style, but they have the same habits and look similar. OG cosmic as a sister is mature, has her life together, gets up early and goes to the gym daily. cosmic 2.0 parties more, sleeps in later, and works out by dancing on the weekends. the first cosmic has a noticeable wood in it, 2.0 is less woody. this is creamier versus woody to my nose, and i’m guessing it’s from the vanilla orchid. someone below already said this before me, but the dry down of this is similar to the beginning of OG cosmic. in my opinion, the first cosmic is almost cotton candy like during the first 10 minutes and the dry down of 2.0 is cotton candyish to me. everyone’s noses are different though so you might disagree! longevity is around 5 hours, but i do overspray when i use this so it could be shorter lasting for people who spray less. you could wear this anywhere! dates, work, home, concerts, grocery stores. anyone who smells this on you will think you smell good. it’s heavier than cosmic 1.0, but it is still light enough to wear year round without being cloying. i would recommend buying the travel set of both perfumes available before committing to a bigger size. if i could go back in time, i would’ve only bought 2.0 in the large size and the OG in a travel size. if you prefer fresher perfumes, OG is better. if you prefer sweeter perfumes, go for 2.0!

I am in-between like and love for this perfume. It is very sweet and cute, non-threatening, fun and elegant. It's not generic, simple or boring, just a quality lovely perfume and nothing more. It would be a safe blind buy for most people who like gourmand and fruity-floral scents in my opinion (unless you dislike amber, I guess). The longevity is good and consistent; too many other delicious perfumes fade or change after an hour, which this one doesn't. I also love the bottle but think it should have been light green or medium yellow rather than silver. I haven't smelled the original Cosmic yet but Cosmic 2.0 and Cosmic Intense are great flankers of one another, the same "recipe" but with a different fruit at the front. What I think this perfume lacks is a bit of edge, a polarizing note or more intensity one way or another. I prefer Cosmic Intense, which I can truly say I love, as it delivers that edge. I will wear Cosmic 2.0 in all occasions and smell my wrist happily throughout the day though.

On my skin, this, like the original, is all about that sweet warm and soft amber. But 2.0 is a little more bold and a little more grown up. It warms up so nicely on my skin, revealing its warm center only then. On paper, it stays bright and aromatic. On my skin, every note sings, and the accord pyramid is true. I am happy to see lavender having a moment, it is such a versatile note that can range from softly aromatic to bold and sharp. Here, it is a soft floral that blends nicely with a soft inedible vanilla to become the signature of this particular sugared amber flanker. The effervescent fresh opening is there only for a moment, stepping back to reveal a sweet floral amber supported by a dry smooth sandalwood. This is a solid offering for this to be a celebrity brand. As for presentation, I love this bottle in the opaque chrome. It now looks like art, and my og bottle looks more sensible beside it. All in all, this is a strong like for me and I really enjoy wearing this.

I took a 10ml travel spray of this on holiday to Thailand. The fragrance performed really well in the heat and felt appropriate during both daytime and night time. The pear note, which I usually dislike, brings a lot of brightness and juiciness to this fragrance. I like this far better than the original, which is more of a vanilla amber bomb and feels a bit more juvenile. For all those holding off or hating on this because of the brand, ultimately this is the same parent company that partners with Burberry, Gucci, Marc Jacob’s and many more on perfume - so just consider you are getting a high quality perfume for a cheaper price because it’s meant to be affordable and appeal to a younger demographic. This perfume is great. Considering price, performance, scent and easiness of wearing it’s a solid 8.5/10. Wish longevity was a bit longer (my only complaint) Edit: I just purchased a 50ml and the bottle is gorgeous. Looking forward to wearing this on my next holiday :)

This perfume will always be in my every day rotation. It would go perfect in the spring and summer in my opinion. At first I actually didn’t love it because it smelled almost too aquatic, as if the vegetables in the store just got misted on. However, I tried it once more and it was like an entirely different perfume. I don’t know if the perfume just had to settle from getting shipped, but the smell became so beautiful. At first this scent sprays fresh, almost masculine, with a strong juicy pear scent. However, the fruit at initial spray isn’t overly strong because the lavender and pepper in this scent rounds it out to its own profile. For me, the magic happens in the dry down. I was soooo shocked, it dried down to the creamiest, most refreshing, warm vanilla amber. It was a dry down I’ve never smelled on myself before. I do wish the longevity lasted longer. I get about 3-4 hours on this. Skin chemistry will matter for this one, but it’s a banger for me.

This smells so nice, I almost bought a fb but as I tested I realized the dry down is similar to two clean musk perfumes I already own, but with some plastic mixed in. Dries down to a soft lavender musk. Cosmic 2.0 has that sweetness from the vanilla and the lingering softness of the pear. Dries down completely to a warm, slightly extract-ish vanilla. For this reason I don't enjoy it as much as I do the opening. Opens very juicy, settles down similar to the above two fragrances in a cozy, almost laundry-like way. It's definitely more creamy overall. Very soft and comforting. Lasts at least 6 hours. It did remind me of the Merit Beauty release in the opening, the pear and the fuzziness. But it's not powdery at all. Merit's is very very powdery as it settles. Also - I've noticed more men like her first release, and women prefer this second one. Maybe it's just the people in my circle, but I found it interesting!

Today I tested the first Cosmic on my wrist and it completely swallowed my Miss Dior extrait and La Bomba that followed. It projects strongly from my wrist and smells just like my Cosmic 2.0 that I own a bottle. So I applied it over the La Bomba that irritated me, as if to the rescue. It immediately took over La Bomba. The scent is special to me. Like a virgin sweat amplified. Clean, watery, lightly floral with fruity tinge. A fantasy on clean, fresh and innocent. And especially I want to highlight the performance that is strong and long lasting with great diffusion that can rival J'Adore. I don't know many parfumes with performance this strong. That said my red version of it is shy. This and the first one though? Greatly radiating. I love it and the bottle is artful and beyond lovely in silver. And for the good price? Whats not to love.

I am impressed by this scent. It does not smell celebrity but luxurious. Gorgeous. Alluring. Like freshly bathed skin. Lightly sweet, hinting of florals. Mysteriously round. Fresh but in a sensual way. And it nicely radiates off my skin constantly delighting me 7 hours already. This time I skin tested it in Douglas and it was accepted by my husband who clearly loved it at home and it was tempting me for many hours, until I have finally ordered it. The bottle is also great, especially in silver. Well done and subtle. Who knows maybe I will add to my collection its older sister, too if it is as good. I wouldn't be surprised if Kylie was wearing it. It suits her. Sweet, young, gentle and sensual. Upping it to love. And it is totally whole-year, whole-day type of scent.

the obsession i have with this perfume needs to be studied. it starts off floral and sweet and after 2 hours i smell the amber and sandalwood and i literally smell like a warm hug. i love to wear this when i don’t want something too overpowering. perfect for when i stay in with my bf and just cuddle and watch movies (he loves this perfume too which he rarely does because i have so many). also, i don’t smell the lavender on me if anyone wants to know. sometimes i layer this with vanilla candy rock to take it to another level and make it even more warm. if i want it to more floral and sweet instead of only amber i layer it with ari. i would say this is a safe blind buy when you love amber, warm, sweet fragrances.

I got a tester of Cosmic 2.0, I decided to test it out a few weeks ago. Personally, I absolutely love this fragrance. I'm quite impressed, as I wasn't a big fan of the OG Cosmic fragrance. It slightly reminds me of an Ariana Grande perfume in a good way. I get a very slight hint of the Thank U Next perfume from this. It's a warm, fruity, ambery fragrance, perfect for everyday, great for spring and summer. The longevity and sillage performance are great too! It lasted 5-6 hours with a strongish projection. After 9 hours, I could still smell it on my skin. Sillage-wise, you will definitely get whiffs of the perfume, and people around you will definitely be able to smell it. I would definitely buy a full bottle.

The original Cosmic didn’t really move me, but 2.0 is a different story. The pear in the opening is perfect; sweet and fruity, a touch syrupy. The pink pepper adds a touch of spicy sharpness; together, a perfect pairing. The vanilla develops as it starts to settle, adding a layer of soft creaminess, with just the tiniest hint of lavender lurking sweetly in the background. The amber base gives it all a delicious warmth. To my nose, a perfect everyday scent which would work in any season. Beautifully feminine, sweet without being overpowering. Projection is moderate, longevity around 5-6 hours. If you enjoy pear in your fragrances, definitely consider giving this one a try.

I’ve had this since it was released and I thought it was meh, bland, very musky & spicy etc etc UNTIL yesterday! 360 turn around (pink pepper & lavender are now muted) it smells so yummy & sensual I cannot deal 😍. The pear is not juicy but it’s very sweet, combined with the vanilla orchid, so good! That sandalwood is very creamy, really enjoying the dry down. Sweet pear (compote) with a fluffy & creamy vanilla all rounded by that warm amber for some depth, now make that grown & sensual! The compliments last night.....unreal! Combo: Sunna musk millionaire lady & golden dust oils (mixed with my body lotion) then Cosmic 2 on top....thank me later!!

I bought this when it first came out because I was so in love with the original. Cosmic 2.0 first comes out a bit pickle-y. Very bitter sour kind of smell but thank god it quickly fades into something beautiful. I don’t really notice the Pear much in this but I notice everything else. The Vanilla Orchid & Lavender really makes this. It’s a beautiful faded floral & amber-y scent. I think the Sandalwood is what softens it. I wear this often and keep it right by my bedside with the rest of my current most-used fragrances. I do plan on buying at least 1 more large bottle before it gets discontinued.

At first, it wasn’t my favorite because it’s very sweet and the amber is quite noticeable. But as I kept wearing it, I started to like it a lot more—I find it a very feminine fragrance. It doesn’t resemble any other perfume I’ve smelled before, so it’s definitely not a dupe. My only disappointment is its longevity—even when applied on clothes, it fades after a few hours, although it’s strong at first. It’s a good everyday perfume, elegant and feminine. I recommend it to someone looking for a feminine and fairly easy-to-like scent. It’s a bit heavy, but still wearable. It’s worth it.

Beautiful - a slightly elevated version of a basic, sweet celebrity perfume. It isn’t unique, but it’s classy, sweet without being cloying, and balances its strong warmth with gentle florals and pear. Longevity is moderate. The warm amber accord is not spicy or smoky, it’s just a warm, sensual smell that is present throughout the wear. It layers well with amber oil & it smells great as soon as it’s sprayed (and I hate waiting for a fragrance to smell good.) 7/10 I also don’t think it smells like Baccarat / Cloud, they have a very specific weird-amber smell that this doesn’t have.

I really love this, surprisingly, because I typically only go for gourmand. To me this smells like a delicate in-between from gourmand and clean floral. I'll preface by saying I HATE floral perfumes, but this is lovely. It's soft and the floral comes off more herbal than a screetchy white floral. On me I get a bright burst of juicy pear wrapped in a soft unidentifiable floral, that quickly develops into a fruity, herbal amber scent. Soft. Warm. Cozy. Delicate. A safe blind buy in my opinion, nothing offensive at all. I wear it to bed almost every night.

EDIT: omg I love this now hahaha no more dill!? I don’t know how my nose has changed so much in 6 months, but I just bought 100ml bottle. Obsessed. I’ve smelled this a handful of times in store and always thought “ew”! I always got a sharp bitter and herbal note from this perfume, and I just read the review below, it’s DILL! I get such a strong dill note from this perfume, unfortunately. I got it in a gift set for Christmas... so hoping I can get past the dill.

Thank god i tried it before i let the internet manipulate me into thinking this is ultimate “clean musky clean girl scent wrapped up in blanket with a sweet tea in hand” Because no, at least on ME! This is a very strong PEPPER fruity floral, with some masculine nuoances that just do it for me. Reminds me of my beloved CLOUD INTENSE, sadly without the good longevity tho, for 2 good hours u have good projection but after that the scent is gone lol.

my work crush said I smelt good, twice! so this is now my signature work scent lol. serious note, inoffensive, pretty, feminine fragrance but not overly girly or sweet. perfect for workplace/daytime settings, can get away with overspraying it if you want to leave a scent trail without being overwhelming. the amber and the pear in this is gorgeous and are my fave parts. overall, nothing extraordinary but a beautiful scent nonetheless.

Tried sample. It’s so fresh, subtle sweet, feminine, fruity. But I don’t get any cherries from it and not sure why there’s lots of voting for cherry fragrances. For me it’s more flowery, woodsy, sweet pear, like JPG La Belle (but not as sweet as them). Great for spring. I have first KJ Cosmic bottle, I love them. They affordable and smells lovely, sweet, fruity and feminine.. I’m getting another bottle, so nice.

A clean girl scent. I do get coconut in the drydown which is strange as it is not listed. Barely detectable, creamy lavender, airy vanilla and skin type scent. Kylie said she get's very nauseaus from fragrances so this one makes sence to me. Perfect for days you want a scent people smell only when they are very close. This is not a scent that wears you. Very light and beautiful. I also get summer vibes from it.

Just a skin test today. I like it. It is a scent of fresh, young skin and sweet sweat. Highlighted. It makes it sexy, your skin but enhanced with a solar aura. I dare say that my sweat is similar but more rosy not fruity like here, hence the comparison. It also reminds me of Gucci Guilty edt but lighter. The bottle is very pretty and of good quality. Next day I could feel it on my jacket's sleeve.

I really have enjoyed this perfume since the first moment I smelled it. To me, I mostly get a lavender-esque take on Guidance but only equivalent to a very airy whiff without the harsher pepper. It is super smooth, warm, and elegantly pretty. More dynamic than the first & leaves a gorgeous (but light) aura around you. Smells as gorgeous as the bottle!

This reminds me so much of the CAROLINA HERRERA VIP ROSE I♡NY (in the white bottle). This isn't as creamy/lactonic but could certainly be a flanked in that pill shape bottle. I like that fragrance and I like this fragrance. Easy to wear creamy warm floral-fruity vanillic-type of base. Nothing new-smelling or earth-shattering but will smell "nice".

Had zero expectations when I went to test this at Sephora, but I ended up buying both Cosmic and Cosmic 2.0 the day after testing them. These two perfumes are your dumb reach everyday scents. I wear them to the gym and to run errands. Cosmic 2.0 smells like the best dry down of a shea butter lotion

For me I just mostly smell the pear and lavender, which I wouldn’t believe I’d like on paper but I actually love this combination. It doesn’t last very long, an hour max on skin and clothes. It’s such a lovely ‘dainty?’ Fragrance though! It won’t turn heads, but I find it hard not to love.

The initial spray is very vanilla but the pear and pepper start to come through during the dry down. This is one of my faves because of the lightness, you can wear it anywhere. The downside of the lightness is that there is very little longevity and respraying an hour later is necessary.

The initial spray is very subtle pear, and as it warms up the pink pepper comes through. I love that just as I forget that I am wearing it, I move just right and am met with the sweet silage. I’m very satisfied that this is my first “big girl fragrance” as a collector lol.

I like the OG Cosmic and it gives me loads of compliments but the 2.0 is on another level! I’m really impressed with this fragrance! The scent is super sensual and warm. EDIT: I had to buy a bigger bottle! This is the best pear scent in my opinion. So bloody sexy!

I personally do not care who created the fragrance as long as it is good and this is absolutely amazing. The only Baccarat Rouge 540 type of a scent that I can handle ( because vanilla vibes). On me it smells niche and expensive with a good 7+ hours longevity.

It’s ever so slightly different than the original. If you already have Cosmic you do not need 2.0 as well. Luckily the original is one of my faves so it’s not an issue for me. It’s a sweet musky fragrance that fits the coquette aesthetic.

Love it ! It dries down so nicely, the scent is very sweet and not overpowering. I’m very prone to headache and this one never game me any. The bottle is so beautiful, feels premium and it sprays in a delicate way.

I quite like it. Fruity opening and the fresh pink pepper. I can smell the original in the base. Cosmic and Cosmic 2 are my first celebrity fragrances in my life. They are really good, unique but easy to wear.

Huge step up from cosmic og. This one has an almost metallic take and matches the bottle honestly. Sweet, modern, orchid and pear forward. More feminine but can definitely be pulled off by a male

Call me crazy, but this actually smells so similar to Wonderstruck. It's a lot more musky than Wonderstruck, but it has like 85% similar DNA; really appealing generic celebrity DNA (I LOVE IT).

Got a sample didn't expect to even like it, I kind of love it, as far is longevity it's eternal imo. A cloud dupe but doesn't make u nose blind, u smell it for hours after just 1 spray.

smells sooooooo good! really sweet but also very clean. reminds me of getting out of the shower and smelling like a very sweet raspberry shower gel

I am so pleasantly surprised by this parfume. It is now my go to for the summer months. It is sweet but not suffocating. Definitely recommend.

I like the spicy note in combination with the sour pear. It is still fruity and sweet but the first thing I noticed was the pink pepper.

SO PRETTY. To me it smell it smells like how a Monet painting would smell like.

I just got this today and am now wearing it. That sandalwood is strong, I'm hoping it doesn't dominate throughout the wear. Usually sandalwood is an okay note for me, it's cedar that tends to ruin a perfume on my skin. I also have Khloe's Almost Always and they are a little similar, but I feel different enough to enjoy both. I really didn't like the original Cosmic, but I knew as soon as I smelled this version in Ulta that this one has possibilities. The lavender doesn't dominate, which is great, as lavender can be another iffy note for me. So far I'm liking this a lot. The bottle is kitschy and weird, I hate not being able to see the liquid contents of perfume bottles, at least make the bottle opaque. I'll try to update after a few hours' wear. Update: It had really good longevity when I wore it yesterday. I sprayed it on my left wrist today, and sprayed Khloe Almost Always on the right write. They are 90% similar. It's like it's the same scent with an added scent note in Cosmic 2.0. Cosmic is a tad more unisex than Almost Always and I think Cosmic dries down more vanilla, but if you don't have either, you really probably don't need both they are so close. I'll keep both, and if I had to choose which I like better I don't know which I'd choose. Almost Always dries down quite a bit sweeter than Cosmic does. Pink Pepper is listed as a top note in Cosmic, but I think it's there from beginning to end, giving it depth.

The opening mixes the clean & fresher spritz of lavender with juicy pear & a sprinkling of pink pepper, so it has a clean & distinct, yet also gently sweet wash, with a touch of spiciness to it. For the vanilla orchid I'm thinking they used vanilla-wrapped jasmine, maybe peony since the background smells pretty similar to the original? The 'samey' backdrop is there to showcase the brighter lavender note and lingering trail of the pear & pink pepper blend give the floral heart more energy in comparison between the two Cosmic fragrances. As the fragrance becomes closer to the skin it really begins to resemble the original Cosmic; creamy and warm like a hug, thanks to the amber & sandalwood blend. However it's not as intimate as the original Cosmic, as a sprinkling of vanilla-infused jasmine & more powdered down lavender remain clearly identifiable. The longevity and projection are both slightly increased in comparison against the original. Cosmic 2.0 is something I'll apply in the morning and it'll wear for a complete working day and will be clearly detectable after 9/10 hours. It's not something overly rich, but there is around a foot for the point of the projection.

Initial spritz smells like pear, the pink pepper is very mild. The lavender note quickly develops and translates as a clean floral. I don’t get any vanilla, sandalwood or amber from this fragrance in a way that is distinguishable. The dry down is clean, fresh, floral and fruity. Doesn’t smell synthetic, cloyingly sweet, or very powdery. It’s a safe blind buy, very inoffensive and it’s wearable as an everyday scent. I just find it to be a bit underwhelming. I would’ve liked to have gotten more of the vanilla orchid, amber and sandalwood notes from this. I think the website’s description of it being a “floral amber” is inaccurate. It’s definitely more of a fruity floral. I don’t get any of the original Cosmic DNA in this scent, rather I find it to be less elevated and very fruity. If you found the original Cosmic to be too powdery and almost like a grandma perfume you may prefer this one. I purchased the 50ml so I will continue to use it and see if the scent grows on me, but so far I much prefer the original. It also doesn’t seem to last as long as the original Cosmic either, which I found to be prominent all day, still lingering on my clothes the following day.

The second iteration of Cosmic is a darker, fruitier, and less floral version of the original. The opening reminds me of a less sickly-sweet God Is A Woman by Ariana Grande, a very heavy pear. Then it fades into a gorgeous vanilla orchid before shifting into a sweet but peppery lavender scent, almost as if the pepper was meant to be in the heart versus the top. And I actually like the lavender in this one, as someone who struggles with lavender notes in fragrances. I also prefer the amber-sandalwood base over the heavy vanilla-forward base of the original. If I'm being honest, I like this one a bit more than the original, but both are good if you're looking for something fresh, youthful, and fun. In comparison to the first Cosmic, this one is less sweet despite that pear note, but still a sweet fragrance. The projection is of the same quality, lasting for about 2-3 hours before dissipating into a skin scent. However, I will say that the longevity is a bit weaker on this one versus the original.

I rly tried and wanted to love this. This smells nice.. It opens w a bright juicy pear (my fav part) but unfortunately that is very short lived. It quickly dies away and you’re left w a non descript fruitiness and a mix of floral orchid and a sheer ambery muskiness. It has a smooth warmth and powdery-ness to it, lightly sweet. I never smelled it on myself the 5+ times I tried to wear it unless I directly sniffed my wrist 🥲. I rly wish that aquatic pear opening stuck around longer and the lavender and pink pepper are basically non existent. This would be great for someone who doesn’t have many perfumes and likes something easy, light, fruity and musky/ambery. It’s an easy likable scent that is non offensive... but I can’t help but say it just smells soo *painfully* generic. There’s nothing special about it and it feels extremely underwhelming. It feels like there was very little thought put into this release. I would recommend so many other things over this. Longevity is also lacking.
