Cacao Noisette

When I first got into fragrances, I had to get my hands on a decant of Elixir Charnel Gourmand Coquin Guerlain, because it was THE chocolate gourmand. Well, I found something sour in it that bothered me to no end. I tried to love it. But couldn't get past that sour note. Everyone kept mentioning Kyse Oui Plus as an affordable option, which is how I stumbled on the house of Kyse. Well, now there's Cacao Noisette. This is the Elixir Charnel Gourmand Coquin Guerlain without the sour note, similar chocolate note to Oui Plus but no patchouli. It is chocolately. And delicious. I buy Cacao Noisette in the foaming bath soap and secretly call it Gloop -- short for Agustus Gloop, who fell in the chocolate river in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, because it smells like I'm bathing in a river of chocolate and I LOVE IT so so much!

when i think of a gourmand fragrance, i wanna feel like i could be eaten. this fragrance is exactly that omg. i sprayed a on my wrist 6/7 hours ago, and it has mellowed down to a chocolate vanilla, in my opinion, similar to al rehab's choco musk. i love the initial smell, when i sprayed it, people around me could smell immediately. this replicates the smell of nutella on toast in the toaster oven. i love it!! i think this would layer perfectly with a coffee fragrance.

Yup, Nutella. Chocolate is tricky and this one is superior. Very photo realistic and true yummy chocolate. Extremely comforting and I much prefer it to Kyse's Oud Plus, hands down. Just a really delicious gourmand, but sadly it doesn't last on me. I don't mind reapplying, like I said, good chocolate is hard to find for me. I prefer it over Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Amour De Cacao and Chocomusk. It has more body to it and is richer.

This is a divine chocolate gourmand. The quintessential chocolate scent, and the only one you need. It starts off like a dark chocolate croissant, and builds to a hazelnut note before fading into a deep vanilla deliciousness. The chocolate perfume to rule all chocolate perfumes. Adding to my permanent collection. I think it's best for fall and winter but I still keep it around for aromatherapy during spring and summer.

Smells like I’ve rubbed Nutella on my arm. Doesn’t last a heck of a long time but for the 2 hours I can smell it, it’s delicious 😋 Update: I’ve been on a cocoa/chocolate kick with fragrance lately & cacao noisette may not last a long time but it’s a sublime chocolate 🍫 scent. I get a lot of coffee, hazelnut & musk as well as deep, gooey chocolate. It doesn’t disappoint

I'm on a chocolate kick right now. I really enjoy Cacao Noisette from Kyse. To me, this smells like a buttery and flaky dessert with layers of chocolate, vanilla, and nuts drizzled with salted caramel. For me, it's the drydown that really holds my interest. I'm getting coffee and rich, melted chocolate on a background of musk. Perfectly cozy. It's a big yes for me.

This is lovely and even if you own over the chocolate shop, la perla dark extacy and al rehab choco musk you will still have room for this as they are all quite different. This is the creamiest and nuttiest of those and lasts for ages. its not too sweet, really just rich, yummy and lovely. It works particularly well in cold weather.

Yay my Nutella perfume is here! I just got my bottle in and srayed it on and it sure enough smells like the famous hazelnut chocolate spread we love so much. Loving the touch of musk in there, too, makes it such a pleasure to wear. Kyse does some great gourmands, I'm all about it!

Smells just like Nutella and German wafer chocolate cookies. super dense, creamy, intoxicating cocoa, with a strong backbone of a hazelnut to support it. I’m sure many people wouldn’t want to smell like this but I wanna smell like this. It’s delicious.

Smells like hazelnut wafers or Nutella spread on toast! You get a powdery chocolate hazelnut with a musky vanilla and there’s a nutty/bready note here that reminds me of a wafer or a cookie. This is gourmand to the max but I love it!!

This is a rich, lovely chocolate. It is reminiscent of Nutella, and I love it for that. It has a bit of a lactonic quality to it which I enjoy, it’s never sour on me. Lasts quite long on me as well, with good quality projection!

I went in expecting this to smell like Nutella, and I was right! Sweet sugary hazelnut chocolate! Straight out of the jar! I really can’t describe it as anything more than that, but it is wonderful.

It smells like something in between a Ferrero Rocher and Nutella. Pretty realistic, lasts a long time with good projection. I have been reaching for this one a lot lately. This is a love for me!

You will pretty much smell like an amazing Nutella. This is NOT like Chocolate Greedy, which is made of cheap ingredients. Get this- it's for the gourmand lovers.

Linear Nutella fragrance. Super similar to Le Gourmand but this actually projects and lasts.

If your looking for a hazelnut cocoa scent, its a winner.

Delicious hazelnut and chocolate scent, just like real Nutella. Smells sweet, edible, cocoa and hazelnut are clearly dominant in this one. Musk is not noticeable at all. My boyfriend smelled it in our place when I initially sprayed it on and started demanding that I share whatever I was eating, because it smelled like an amazing sweet treat. In reality I was eating something... But that was salami or something like that :D it does really remind me of Le Gourmand by Jousset because both of them are gorgeous Nutella scents, but I would say Le Gourmand is more rich, complex, salty and pastry like. And also that one is way more expensive. I love both, they ate beautiful and worth having on your collection if your into that kind of gourmands. It has a decent sillage and lasting power is great, but wish it was even a little stronger. However, it stays true to scent/itself throughout the wear (or is linear, as some would say) and I truly appreciate this quality. I don't want my gourmands to turn into something else as the day goes by :)

Delicious creamy milk chocolate and hazelnut. Like other reviewers have said, it is very reminiscent of Nutella. One of the finest, most realistic chocolate scents I've tried. The projection is quite low, though I really only see myself wearing this when I'm sitting at home anyways. It's too linear and foody for me to warrant a full size, but I can see this being perfect for a choco-holic - personally, it makes me too hungry! :)

A cup of hot cocoa, but sweetened with an artificial sweetener and not real sugar cane, which keeps it from being a love. A very linear fragrance but present and pleasant throughout the day.

I've seen a lot of perfumes be described as nutella recently, but this is by far the most realistic! Really impressive and somehow still wearable but maybe not for everyday

Nutella with added cocoa, as gourmand as they come. Dries down nicely and the cocoa note stays true.

Smells like Nesquik powder on me. Quite nostalgic! Perfect for layering.

Opens with a blast of sweet cacao powder before quickly settling into a perfumey chocolate. It’s got the same perfumey undertone to Oui Plus that I just don’t mesh well with. On first test, it’s not creamy enough, the cacao just feels flat. Dries semi-playdoughy. At least I don’t get wet dog from this, but I’m not too impressed. Can't decide whether it's a "like" or "ok." As far as chocolate goes, I think it’s better than Solstice Scents’ cocoa absolute, which is just dry cocoa powder. Update: sprayed just a few spritz from my sample and it's making me feel kind of sick. The perfumey and playdoughy sweetness to this is just too much. I feel like I'm suffocating and need to escape from my own body. I would say it's the weather, but I have no problem with my other beloved gourmands today. Gourmands are just so tricky for my nose. I now agree completely with the other comment that it's too sweet and "buttery" to the point of rancidity.

176 This doesn’t smell like Nutella (right next to me). Maybe at the opening, but it changes quickly. It’s nutty at opening with some cocoa which is nice. Then quickly it changes to Hershey’s milk chocolate-specifically the kisses I am familiar with. It’s a milk chocolate that smells of sour milk(in my experience) and this is where this scent ends with a touch of coffee. It also reminds me of a Hershey chocolate tootsie roll candy. It would be better if that sour milky note was not there(maybe it’s the caramel). It is gone off my skin within 1 hour with a sulfery note left behind. The second time I tried this it didn’t appear. If you want to smell like this, go for it! 6/10-Not Nutella, only Hershey’s milk chocolate for me

Smells like true milk chocolate with the slightest bit of powdery undertones from all that nuttiness. If you are looking for a true, photorealistic chocolate gourmand..... Cacao Noisette is your gurl. A little too hyper real and linear for my taste, I prefer to eat and smell like dark chocolate, but objectively the perfect chocolate gourmand perfume.My only issue with Kyse is the performance is always so mid 😕 Rating: 6/10

It smells exactly like Nutella but it’s super cloying. I literally love gourmands but this one is just too much for me. It can definitely be headache inducing. Longevity and sillage is pretty good tho!

A very linear milk chocolate hazelnut scent. If that's what you're looking for, you will not find a better quality or value for your money. You will smell like a candy bar.

Delicious Nutella scent that dries down to... yes, wet dog. After a while, the dog smell fades, and you are left with a faint, unplaceable skin scent, vaguely sweet.

First impressions (dabber): I think the problem with this one is that it smells too sweet and too buttery together that it’s coming off a little like it’s rancid. Almost like you smell chocolate puke on a hot day, or like expired Nutella. I really like oui plus by kyse because it has a coffee note that gives it a Smokey feel. What I don’t understand is how this has a higher rating than oui plus. I’ll try this one again on my skin again and compare the two. Edit 1: This lacks depth that I really like from Nutella. This smells like a very cheap knock off of Nutella, and not in a good way. It’s a very cheap hazelnut smell. Verdict: pass- I think chocolate fragrance can be a hit or miss or me, and this is an absolute miss.

I think my skin just doesn't like this perfume. Right out of the bottle, it smells great, like hazelnut with the tiniest trace of coffee, then it turns into a pure hazelnut with the occasional, sudden, VIOLENT punch of concentrated Frito-Lay corn chips, before going back to normal. This process repeats the entire time I wear it.

I will hand it to Kyse. This is EXACTLY what the perfume says it is. I cannot believe this is even possible to make into a perfume. Straight up Nutella & the bitterness people are describing is the Cocoa... which is literally the name of the perfume. I got this as a free sample. Would I wear it? Absolutely not. Would I eat it? Yes.

Very stinky, as fellow reviewers have mentioned, wet dog. I'm getting that pungent frito lay vibe that immediately puts me off. To be fair, I've had this issue with other chocolate scents, but so far Kyse has struck out 3/3 times for me. Needless to say, they also have awful branding and bottles. I'm done with this house.

Overpowering smell of a wet dog that rolled in rancid Nutella.

I really feel bad even finding out about this brand, and deciding to spend my money on those perfumes. I understand it is indie brand, but this is my experience with it. First of all, it does smell like cocoa-chocolat. And Nutella is my guilty pleasure. I do not smell Nutella at all. I smell vegetable oil, when you get some on your hand, mixed with cocoa. Yak. I am glad I was able to despute my purchase for 2 fragrances, as I believe, it was false advertisement (should not say it smell like BumBum cream, or Nutella, for people to believe you, and this will smell nothing like it). Read fine print: Kyse doesn't except returns, and tells you to buy samples first. Will not purchase anything from this brand ever again.

Since starting this hobby, I've sought out the perfect chocolate fragrance. Most scents vaguely hint at chocolate via patchouli or end up smelling like sweet, dry cocoa powder. This has been the only fragrance that smells like the syrupy chocolate smell I've been after this whole time: the hazelnutty chocolate you get from Ferrero products (Ferrero Rocher, Nutella, Kinder) spread over a warm piece of toast. In one word, photorealism.

I sampled a whole bunch of Kyse scents as a way to get myself more comfortable and familiar with the world of realistic gourmands. It was definitely an experience but I can't say I was deeply enamored with any of them. Cacao Noisette was probably my favorite of the bunch because c'mon, it's straight up Nutella and everything that makes Nutella so wonderful. I'll probably purchase it in some form other than an EdP- probably a lotion.

I'm glad this is in the database now. Cacao Noisette is inspired by Nutella, and it IS spray-on Nutella. Delicious. At first I wasn't sure I liked it, but I have succumbed now to the absolute peak Nutella-ness of it. Terri Bozzo really accomplished her goal for this one!

One word: Nutella. This is sweet, creamy milk chocolate with hazelnut. Extremely gourmand and edible. This is comfort food without the calories. I like to wear this on a cold fall/winter evening while reading a book or watching a movie and hiding under a fluffy blanket.

This is Nutella in a fragrance. Definitely get the hazelnut and cocoa. A linear fragrance yet very decadent. If you like chocolate and hazelnut then this is one to sample. I do find it enjoyable to wear at home during the colder months.

This smells like a Lip Smackers lip balm I used to have in the 90’s, maybe early 2000’s. It was a chocolate mint flavor and when I smell this I can think of nothing else.

37/100 super fake chocolate, diary free vibe. it’s dry and boring with zero depth. cloying and cheap smelling. this is NOT Nutella, and it has bad after ”taste”.

Creamy, nutty milk chocolate and caramel. This is Nutella in a bottle and absolutely delicious! Almost wanted to take a bite out of myself when I sampled it lol.

Wearable nutella. You get the sugar, the cacao, the hazelnuts. I would say that sugar and hazelnut are the strongest notes. Very nice. Realistic and comforting.

Ok so i do like this but sometimes i get whiffs of wet dog with it. My husband said he didnt smell that at all but it made me nervous to wear it out. 🥺

Nutella straight up, smells lovely. Also doesn't turn into that soapy, metallic cheap musk smell at the end like some other Kyse fragrances.
