Fichi e Panna

Fichi e Panna is an early, cold morning and the sun pokes golden rays through the kitchen windows as it rises, painting the walls a glowing honey color. Someone I love places my favorite breakfast in front of me and a tender kiss on my cheek. Delightfully creamy and serene. I’m not a fan of traditional gourmands, more of an avant-gourmand consumer, but this is very wearable and I’ve grown attached to it. My comfort perfume. I recommend this for those who loved that specific shade of yellow in 2018 and those who stick to freshies most of the time, but secretly crave something warm and delicious.

Fichi e Panna is such a delightful scent. So deliciously sweet and creamy. I know it's figs, and it does smell like figs, but the milk note is so strong that it also kind of smells like a bowl of Fruit Loops. A little juvenile, but also somehow not. I got a compliment on this the other day from my daughter's teacher. It's so inexpensive I am thinking of getting her a bottle too :) I think a lot of people would like this scent, even people who prefer more mainstream perfumes. Try it out!

leafy fig with a subtle tartness enveloped in creamy milkiness and vanilla whipped cream that falls on powdery sandalwood. the perfect balanced fig gourmand that never feels too sweet or too green. If you like fig when is done as a milky note this amplifies that in a softly sweet way. Will say the projection is softer than I usually enjoy and the longevity isn’t super long, but for the price, I’ll gladly reapply lol

Fresh fig and cream on a background of light musk. This is so nice. I love this one for its creaminess and its balance. It reminds me of expensive face cream with a bit of extra oomph. I can wear this at my scent-free work place without getting any side-eye. It lasts for about 8 hours. One of my faves from this brand (my other faves are Cacao Noisette and Macarons). Full-bottle worthy for me!

WOW! I didn't think I was a huge fan of fig perfumes, but this is just THE BEST. Better than Laura Mercier Eau Gourmande Fresh Fig, better than Diptyque Philosokos! This is a warm hug, a hot steaming mug of vanilla milk and fig. So gorgeous and full bottle worthy! I am wearing a sample today that I got from a previous order from Kyse Perfumes. This is most definitely my next purchase!

This scent starts off with a fresh, dewy fig note that is neither too green nor too sweet/jammy before transitioning effortlessly into a stunning lactonic vanilla skin scent. I wish the fig note would stick around for longer, but overall this fragrance is a beautiful soft gourmand for the non-gourmand lovers.

Warm fig pudding served with a big dollop of whipped sweet cream. It is not a loud scent but elegant and close. This type of vanilla reminds me of the hypnotic poison type of vanilla, rich and decadent. I have a sample but will order a full bottle on next order.

so lovely, green fig with plenty of milk. this one has a pretty realistic milk note on me without going too buttery or sour. definitely more sweet than it is fresh. for me, it’s just right.

Delicious and alluring. The first and only Kyse fragrance I really like and would consider purchasing. Milky smooth fresh fig that feels authentic.

milky creamy soapy fig, love it

I think I need more time with this perfume. I used to think I liked fig scents, because I would always associate it with the juicy ripe figs I'd pick off my parent's fig tree growing up. So sweet and creamy. So when I got into fig perfumes, I was shocked to find out green and almost aromatic they were rather than the fruit. I hated! Philosykos at first, and immediately put my sample away. Then, I fell in love with Phlur's father figure, and to my surprise it is centered around fig as one of the key notes. This was fig done differently than Diptyque. I loved it! Then, I got my hands on Tocca's Lucia, which is a fig scent, and it was green. Not as green as Philosykos originally was to my nose, but still green. Lucia grew on me, and it was a compliment getter for sure. Now, onto this figgy frag. I loved it at first spritz, but then I hated it, but then I liked it. I keep going back and forth. I do need to give it some time on skin rather than a blotter, but it is reminding me a bit of Lucia. There is a creaminess to Fichi a Panna, it is almost as if the green fig and cream are fighting on who gets the shine. I don't hate it and I don't love it, but I do think I like it. Will have to report back when I get to test this on my skin

Kyse Perfumes’ 2018 release, Fichi e Panna, which translates to “figs and cream,” is fittingly a mix of fig, milk, sugar, vanilla, and sandalwood. It has a rather bready quality to it, as well, and I find this a very nice sort of means for delivering the fig scent. It’s not overwhelmingly fig-intensive, but rather, a pleasant dessert ensemble featuring fig, like creamy fig bread, so the name is spot-on in this respect. It’s not loud but it’s rich, and reasonably dense, giving a thorough feel despite not jumping off the skin. It has more-than-reasonable standard Kyse pricing of $100 / $54 / $34 / $23 for 100ml / 60ml / 30ml / 15ml, respectively, so it’s a clear bargain and a neat gourmand offering from her. Overall, I quite like it. I kind of want to try it alongside Serge Lutens Jeux de Peau, another bready scent that comes to mind, though it doesn’t contain fig, specifically. 7 out of 10

- I'm wearing this fragrance from a sample. This is a wonderful fragrance that smells like a milky and pithy fig. The vanilla smells natural and isn't very sweet considering there is a sugar note in this fragrance. The scent never becomes too sweet or overpowering. The sandalwood is present but it's definitely not the star. If anything, I would say milk is the star of this perfume. It's also not overly gourmand to my nose. Another stunning fragrance by Kyse! It's a beautiful skin scent that I would love to wear in summer. EDIT after wearing this for a while, I've come to the conclusion that this perfume is "my skin but better". It's milky, lightly sweet, slightly powdery and creamy sandalwood. 🤗

Reminds me of the last warm bits of summer that we cling to as the evenings start to cool. I automatically thought of the frothy white seafoam when I smelt the milk note paired with the fig in this scent. It reminds me of Debaser but much sweeter and more subtle which I really prefer. I didn’t think I liked fig scents but this might have changed my mind, it’s so subtle but adds a nice depth and earthiness to the top of the fragrance. This is such a light and delicious gourmand, with the very simple vanilla sugar and lactose notes, I may have to buy a full size of. Not sure if I see it as much of a fall scent but definitely good for end of summer transition into autumn.

This is one of the most beautiful fig fragrances I've come across. It's sweet, creamy, woodsy, warm and fresh/green all at the same time. Even though it's sweet, it's not a cloying or candy-like type of sweet, if that makes sense. It's like the whole fig tree and the juicy fig fruit all in one. Perfect for all seasons. If you love fig, definitely get your nose on this one. Kyse makes some of the most photorealistic fragrances that I've tried. And I love that you can order 1ml, 3ml or 6ml sizes to test before committing to a bigger bottle.

Fichi e Panna (launched 2018) is "figs and cream"—from juicy fresh figs still slightly green—subtly sweet, with a floral hint and creamy sandalwood base. A simple mix with notes true to Nature. A very wearable gourmand for any season or time of day, handmade by a perfumer with a real knack for blending Beauty in a bottle. Lovely fig, very reminiscent of Diptyque's Philosykos but more creamy and less green and earthy. At the same time, it's not an overwhelmingly super gourmand type of sweetness--to me it has a macadamia note and it's that kind of nutty creaminess. Unfortunately very light on both sillage and staying power.

Ok that is FIG and MILK! I will say I think this has very little to do with something like Philosykos and is rather a very photorealistic gourmand experience. I have worn it on my skin once and it was wearable, but definitely retains that same quality as it does on paper which is just not for me.

This is unique from the other Kyse fragrances I've tried in that it's not very strong. It's more subtle and needs more sprays. I really love the scent; similar to some of the Jo Malone fig fragrances, Fichi e Panna has a bready or pastry-like of scent to it. It's nuanced and not too sweet.

Figs are a wildcard for me. This one is bright but not very green (which I like). I wasn’t a fan of Diptyque Philosykos but I like this. This one is not as green and has a slight softness in the base as it wears. I’ve also enjoyed layering it with some others from the brand, like Miele.

Very simple and doesn't last. One of my guilty pleasure fragrances.

Interesting blend of a very green, fresh fig and sweet milk with sugar. This is fig with its leaves and everything, it‘s kind of sharp and almost like fresh cut grass. Unfortunately I get a slightly rubbery undertone from this sometimes, but this might be just my skin chemistry. The gourmand note in this doesn‘t really smell like cream to me, more like warm milk, caramel and brown sugar. Of course the drydown is warmer, sweeter and less fresh than the opening, the fig vanishes long before the sticky milky notes. But all in all, this is an unusual and somewhat challenging kind of gourmand. Not for me as I don‘t really like grassy notes and dislike the rubber band note I sometimes get, but worth a try and different from regular fig fragrances.

So this is an almost dead on dupe for Diptique Philosykos. I have both and I can tell you that it is. It has more fresh almost minty vibes, and no coconut, which Philosykos has, but if you don’t care about coconut it wouldn’t matter which one you’d pick because they’re that similar. I don’t get the creamy milk note. I smell a lot of green freshness, and I love fig, so that’s nice. Id like to smell the milk / cream note in this. But it’s not there in my opinion. For now I prefer Philosykos because of the coconut, and Figue Sauvage if you dislike green notes. I’m gonna pass this on to someone who likes figs and leaves.

Out of the kyse samples I ordered, this was my favourite. It was the only one that didn’t have a slightly cloying scented candle-like base. I suspected I would like it, being a lover of fig, but what I didn’t expect was how much it would smell like peach! I spent a few years unsuccessfully trying to find a peach fragrance that worked on my chemistry and didn’t turn dusty/musty, and now here it is in a perfume with no peach listed. It’s straightforward and linear, a cheerful spring/summer scent.

This scent is really pretty, creamy, a sweet fig! It is a little close to candle but not quite there thankfully. I bought direct from the website and the bottle cap ended up breaking after 2 months of light use. The glue or whatever was being used to suction came loose when opening, definitely cheap bottle which is unfortunate.

It’s a very milky vanilla fig scent, but the milk vanilla note overpowers the fig. The fig note fades quite quickly and you’re left with a generic vanilla milky scent in the dry down. I wish the fig is more prominent and the milky notes are more in the background

It's figgy, woidy with a splash of creaminess. It's inoffensive and linear. Candle- like scent. Not a stand out but it's comforting worn at home on a cold rainy day sipping in some tea.

On my skin the opening was straight cough syrup, followed by an odd yeasty, almost urine-like note that reminds me of the smell of liquid Vitamin B. The notes and reviews were so promising. I'm guessing that this olfactory calamity may be due to a skin chemistry mismatch, but it is compelling me to caution that this is not a safe blind buy.

I realized that fique does not react with my skin well. Its very green but not fresh but like grass green..i wish i would smell vanilla lactonic scent but no, unfortunately i just smell fresh gren fiques. I need something more sweet

Fichi e Panna is true to its name: a wonderful vanilla pudding with figs on the side, really delicious. The fig note is prominent in the opening especially, and it's very nicely done, natural and a little green. Then the sweet creamy accord grows gradually stronger, providing a lovely contrast with the fresh figs at first, before replacing it entirely. And best of all, that delicious drydown seems to last forever, all day at least. So this one is getting full marks for me, and even more so because it's the first Kyse I've tried that I'd wear in public without any qualms: it's definitely a full-blown gourmand, but it's a bit less conspicuous than some others from this line (that I also like, but only wear around the house).

i had a producing fig tree in my childhood so i have very fond memories of both the fruit and the beautiful tree itself (ours had an almost spherical arrangement of branches that curved inward). to me, the scent is more of very very ripe or store-bought figs. it is syrupy and a little rummy. there is definitely a yeasty bread quality and the milk is prominent. i think it is beautifully executed and perfect for chilly spring or early fall. although it is very sweet, i could see it being appealing to a masculine person as it does have a boozy quality. i had a great experience ordering from kyse. the pricing is very appealing for people who like to sample and the scents arrived w some cute freebies in beautiful packaging.

Got this as a sample. Pull a half-ripe fig from the branches of a fig tree. Lean up against the trunk of the tree. Dig your thumbnail into outside of the fruit, going through the skin to the center, and rip it open. Smell it. That's what this perfume smells like. Very light fig-flower sweetness, with a dry and bitter fig milk aspect, and the smell of the fig wood encompassing it all. Dries down to a powdery, deep wood scent with a shadow of the initial scent trailing behind. I like it.

As a fig perfume lover, I have tried so many fig fragrances but never founf a very gourmand-y fig- the only thing I can think of as close is Yesterday's Haze. This definitely is creamy fig pudding with warm brown sugar but sadly, the milk note in this goes very eggy on me- scrambled cream! I smell more like a fig souffle than panna. Very intriguing but not so successful for me.

Milky, milky fig. The green notes aren't as prominent to my nose. This is one of my favorites from this house, . This one is less sweet and more my style. This house veers more toward those who enjoy gourmand/sweet scents. This perfume is playful with depth. Other scents to try from this house are : Delizia di Marshmallow (very sweet) and Terreno Dolce ( earthy and distinct).

This fig is surprisingly green? I thought it would be fruity but there's a broken plant stem scent in here which I assume is from the fig. I get a little bit of milkiness but not much else. Green fig and a little milk.

This is a nice enough scent, but the staying power is lacking. It faded away after about 15 minutes. If you're after a photorealistic gourmand fig, try Alluring Fig by Theodoros Kalotinis instead!

This is a question, if anyone remembers Davies Gate Cloudcake fragrance from 20 years ago, I was wondering if this fragrance smells similar?
