Gardenia Sucré

This is like a gardenia ice cream. I’ve been looking for a white flower-gourmand with the right amount of sweetness and I think this is the one for me! It has a gourmand edge over the florals. I’d say Love Tuberose is in the same family as this, but it wasn’t quite as sweet as I’d hoped. Gardenia Sucré has great performance and is fabulously priced. It’s rather linear and straightforward, but it does become slightly milkier as it dries. I get hints of coconut which reminds me of SL’s Datura Noir. Could be a classy summer scent for those who don’t love suntan lotion-type coconut, although this could be worn year round. I could easily see someone wearing this for their wedding.

This smells exactly as described- sweet gardenia, sugar, and milk. The sugar is the strongest note, but the gardenia is absolutely noticeable. There is a creamy note in the dry-down, but I don't pick up any woody notes. It's a deliciously sweet floral gourmand. While it is long-lasting, the sillage is soft which is a disappointment. If you are looking for a sweet gardenia skin scent you will love this!

A very natural smelling gardenia with a gourmand twist and I LOVE it!! Sadly, my partner hates it (eyeroll ;-) and even more sadly?? It's discontinued :-( I'll relish my time with the small remainder of juice left in my bottle. I really enjoy KYSE and love Terri's work - she makes amazing, original perfumes for GREAT prices in comparison with many niche brands. Highly recommend this house!!!

I'm so very much addicted to this fragrance - Gardenia Sucre is my smooth groove . Gardenia and Sugar Cream; Like if the Twizzlers Filled Twists came in a Gardenia flavor this would be the scent. **You need to let this fragrance sit once it arrives (literally all her fragrances) - the more time the better the scent. This is an AMAZING gardenia gourmand - Ive not smelled one better.

I tried gardenia sucre by Kyse today from my 1ml. It is very thick. You can almost taste it for the first 10-15 mins. I smelt gardenia, sweetness and a sharp sour note. The kind you get with unripe fruit. It’s projection was big. I liked it though it was a bit overwhelming. My husband asked me to wash it off but I didn’t as I was leaving to run errands alone and wanted to see how it dried down. It calmed down and lost the sour note after about 45 mins. It turned into a creamier gardenia smell. Now at 6 hours it just smells faintly floral and like sugared cream. It's beautiful at this stage. Honestly, if it smelled like this right out of the bottle I’d love it. I’m kinda bummed it’s so strong right out of the bottle with 1 dab. I like gardenia though. I’m just used to it being less pronounced.

If it weren't for the name, I'd guess this was a tuberose fragrance. It has an almost bubblegum quality of sweetness. Very creamy white floral with a heavy dose of sugar. Although still a simple and linear scent, this fragrance has more nuance than some of Kyse's other offerings.

I'm sampling this fragrance today. Straightforward gardenia that becomes milky and sweeter as it dries down. I'm also getting a beachy vibe of coconut and sun lotion. Another great gourmand from Kyse. -

Sweetened gardenia, exactly how it sounds. The milk note is very subtle here, not at all overpowering. Sweet, but not too sweet. This would be great for warmer weather.

167 Sweet vanilla, milky creamy white floral. I liked it okay but my husband asked why it smelled like corn in the kitchen. Men! I guess I can kind of see it, if you’ve ever cooked sweet yellow corn. Either way, it would be fine, but then I begin to smell a dry metallic note that is not pleasant. You can smell this metallic note in some of her scents more than others. 7/10- it’s alright, milky creamy notes are done well.

This is my first impression. The initial spray is sweet gardenia that's warmer and thicker than Amoauge Love Tuberose. After it dries down, the milk note takes over. This is not regular milk. This is thick and creamy condensed milk. Reminds me of using too much eggs when making French toast sort of smell and it accidentally becomes French egg. LOL Gardenia Sucre is very dense and opaque. Love Tuberose smells airy in comparison. Gardenia Sucre could be a custard. Love Tuberose is icing on cake that is firm on the outside and softened on the inside. You could crumble away the frosting into a dust. This is a better smelling Ava Luxe Milk. Its not bad. It actually smells nice. It is just NOT what Im looking for.

Gardenia Sucré is a very thick and cloying white floral. It is the sweetest white floral that I own (and I hoard the discontinued Truth or Dare). If you are like me, someone who enjoys tooth achingly sweet florals, this will be a fragrance to check out. White florals typically have a cloying element to them, but Gardenia Sucré is not that typical animalic-sweet-decay-reminiscent-of-a-corpse scent, albeit a very good smelling corpse ;). No, it leans more in the sugarspun gourmand direction with a lactonic accord mixed in for the perfect balance between a creamy and dreamy white floral and a playful candied youthfulness to rein in the va va voom that goes hand in hand with white florals while still retaining an air of elegance. This is one of the most projecting perfumes I own and lasts all day. I love it and will be keeping a bottle in my collection at all times. This is my favorite fragrance from Kyse Perfumes.

This is a sweet and rich gardenia bubble gum on my skin. The woodsy notes pulls slightly powdery. I’m only sampling but I could buy a full bottle of this- if the powdery pull doesn’t become more pronounced. My skin has a tendency to pull out powdery notes or sharpness. There is no sharpness in this floral, it’s creamy and round and very feminine. If I was a bee I’d want to dive into this as it’s almost syrupy. It’s a unique gourmand. Something about it reminds me faintly of hypnotic poison edt from the nineties - maybe the powdery note is transforming into a root beer float? It’s definitely transforming on my skin and I’m into this sweet and happy journey.

Kyse Perfumes Gardenia Sucre is recent 2018 release and is appropriately a sweet white floral and is rather milky, at that. It’s a floral that shouldn’t overwhelm those of us (like me) that tend to steer clear of floral-dominant fragrances, with some exceptions, and certainly is endearing to those of us that like the sweet stuff. Very comfortable and easy to wear, but reasonably dense and decently-performing. The pricing is great, as well, as usual: $80 / $54 / $34 / $21 for 100ml / 60ml / 30ml / 15ml, respectively. Overall a nice-enough creamy floral expression that doesn't move the needle for me much, but is still agreeable enough. 6 out of 10

In the bottle, it smelled like gardenia-flavored candy. On my skin, it very quickly dried down to what smelled a bit like hay (I see a similar reviewer said the same thing which is interesting - maybe it's the combo of milk + "woodsy notes"?). I wish my skin chemistry worked better with it, as I loved what I smelled in the bottle - it's a gorgeous gardenia dessert, if you're lucky enough that this works on you!

It smelled better initially, but when it dries down it kind of smells like super soggy day old french fries cooked in oil that hasn't been changed in 2 years covered in some cheap candy body spray.

Smells like hay on me, I don't smell any florals on my skin when this dries down.
