Jasmine Macarons

This is one of those scents that flies under the radar. Which is a shame, because it’s gorgeous. The opening smells a bit off- the Jasmine comes off sharp, and there is weird note that doesn’t seem to mesh. Almost smells like the fragrance is unfinished, missing something, or not properly macerated. Then, after about 10-15mins it melds together into a beautiful, deep, and decadent composition. It becomes harmonious It’s really like nothing I’ve ever smelled before. When you try this, please don’t disregard it at first spray, because those first sprays don’t it do this fragrance justice, and you’ll miss out on the beauty of it. It’s intoxicating. It’s gourmand for sure, but the floral notes keep it from smelling solely like a piece of baking. It smells sweet and rich, but is not syrupy sweet, and for me it is not headache inducing (I’m looking at you La Vie Est Belle). It’s unique, but would be mass appealing if it ever gained popularity like other niche houses. I don’t find it polarizing. I loooove Jasmine so my review might be biased. If you don’t love Jasmine, I still recommend that you try this. You can purchase a 1ml sample on her website. It’s also really affordable, and a little goes a long way.

Easily my favorite from Kyse, closely followed by Cocco alla Vaniglia and Praline au Caramel! It projects really well on me, I was wearing a sample of this when I got in a car with three of my friends and they (all wearing masks) told me I smelled really good. Without knowing any of the notes, they said it smelled like a popcorn jelly bean, but to me it smells like a very buttery sugar cookie and full bodied white florals that is just shy of indolic. Love this offering as a not straight-foody scent from Kyse!

I get the jasmine, whipped cream, burnt sugar and sandalwood the most on my skin. This is absolutely beautiful. I love jasmine and gourmands so it's a win/win for me. This smells how I'd imagine a jasmine and vanilla flavored ice cream would be. I've loved almost every Kyse fragrance I've tried so far and I've tried about half of them. The ones I didn't love, I did at least like. None of them smelled bad to me. But some aren't fb worthy. This one IS! It'll be my next 60ml purchase from them.

I got a sample of this as soon as it came out and, omg, it’s incredible! Big, skanky indolic jasmine mixed with the most edible vanilla cookie and a very subtle, barely there spice. It’s delicious and sexy! My husband came home from work and said I smelled amazing and nuzzled my neck. He told me to by a bottle of whatever it was. I’m loving the skank with the hyper sweetness. Great combo!

This fragrance is absolutely narcotic. It smells like a love potion: indolic, sugary, milky, and it reminds me of something so familiar but I just can't place what it is. Perhaps dogwood and magnolia flowers blooming in the summer heat? The scent doesn't really remind me of macarons or really any kind of food; it's decidedly gourmand but smells closer to human skin than it does to food.

Wonderful fragrance! Lush and comforting. Slightly indolic Jasmine with all those other luscious gourmands: Whip cream sugar and butter. The gourmands lasted 10 hours easily. Tons of complements. A luxuriant fragrance experience. Can’t wait to try the others.

I love this . It’s so thick and rich & super POTENT. This stuff lasts through washes on my clothes and hours on my skin! Amazing . Ordered a 30 ML bottle .

So I've had a 30ml of this for about 2+ years now, stored in a cool dry environment in the back of my perfume closet as I wasn't terribly impressed at first. At first the indolic notes were STRONG on this and I didn't really enjoy it, but thought it may have maceration potential so let it sit. Now, it's off the charts amazing! Some of the alcohol has evaporated off and it's morphed into this sweet, tropical af soft breeze Brazilian jasmine! Man, she has turned into one of my summer best. Compliments galore when I wear this. My son wore this to school last week and came home with memos from his teachers/aides demanding to know what scent that was! So if it seems light, give it time to reach peak potential and you'll end up with an absolute gem

Of all the Kyse samples I ordered, I was probably most curious about this one. I love jasmine, and I love marzipan, but when I initially sprayed, I felt like these two notes did not jive well. However, after giving it some time to develop on my skin, this fragrance has won me over. This is my first time sampling anything from Kyse and I had expecting most to be fairly linear, but I was wrong in this case. I guess this one needs to "bake." Both Jasmine Macarons and Glace a la Fleur d'Oranger need time to blossom and show who they really are.

Jasmine Macarons (launched 2020) is a floral gourmand—a meringue-cookie/white-flower combo that's grown on me. Projection seemed weak, even safe for my doctor visit, but the front-desk staff caught the scent, loved it, and jumped on the computer to find Kyse Perfumes immediately; so, longevity and sillage must be better than my nose could tell, as the scent was a hit. Very seductive jasmine, kind of like how Alien is seductive. But Alien is a very cold, ice-princess scent while this one is way more inviting because of the gourmand notes. I find that the jasmine note doesn't last too long and you're left with just the gourmand notes, so I might try layering with Alien to see if it'll last longer that way.

The opening was very sharp and acrid, like cleaning products or stepping into a bathroom. But I followed everyone’s advice and waited. The drydown was definitely much better, but it smells almost exactly like Delizia di Marshmallow to me, if the marshmallows in question were slightly toasted. I’ll give my sample (which came with my order of Delizia - I’ll never be without that delicious fragrance!) another wear or two but if I keep getting the same vibe, I feel I don’t need both. Did not get as much butter, whipped cream or heliotrope as I’d hoped for, just vanilla/marshmallow and caramelized sugar.

I received a sample of this with my order of Delizia de Marshmallow. Full disclosure: I don't like jasmine. This fragrance really hits you with it right off of the bat. After the jasmine, you smell a very sweet cookie like fragrance. Love the dry down, but the jasmine is a deal breaker for me. If you like that though, this is for you!

The jasmine is too indolic for me, it smells really off and does not at all mesh with the other notes. Once it has dried down a little I do enjoy this fragrance, but the first 1-2 hours are just too much for me. I prefer Kyse's other Macarons fragrance!

There was a Disney Aurora/Sleeping Beauty doll in the 90's that came with a perfume bottle and a funnel (it had an opening in her back/neck, for you to funnel perfume into it). The perfume was a powdery, sweet jasmine mixed with a slight hint of plastic - and Jasmine Macarons smells very similar to that. It's quite soft, and performs like a skin scent on my skin - producing only a personal scent bubble. There is also something similar in the DNA here to Kyse's "Zucchero Filato" (spun sugar dry down). Very warm, soft, and sweet - this would be a good bedtime scent, if no plastic note comes through for you (for that reason, I would probably recommend buying a sample from Kyse before springing for a full bottle - to see how it performs with your skin chemistry, as other reviews seem to rave about it!).

This used to be my favorite but I've found I now prefer the plain Macarons by Kyse. The jasmine with the soft sweet buttery sugar cookie smell made this surprisingly good during the spring/summer months. When sniffing up close to the skin (about an inch or so) I would get whifs of banana peel, though this wasn't the case if you smelled it from at least 6 inches away. I absolutely hated the banana peel note but continued wearing the perfume until I ran out. I'm more partial to vintage chypres but this is a very pleasant floral buttery vanilla that I wear when I want something light, sweet, and crowd pleasing that also doesn't smell like a candle.

Okay, I'm thinking I need to let this sit for one or two years because I got it in a decant but I don't think she has had it long. This has a spicy mint like smell to my nose. It smells so similar to BR540 right now. Is it the jasmine? Am I smelling the copaiba balm? What is it?! It was very intense at first spray but I have also had it on a shirt for over 12 hours and it's the same but less intense. I'll revisit months from now, I guess 🫠

First impression. Im intrigued by the jasmine in this. The jasmine is like that found in essential oil. The further away my nose is from my wrist, the more it smells like a macaroon. If my nose is close to my wrist, the sweet notes don't blend well with the rugged jasmine. It smells almost medicinal up close. Strangely enough, I like this jasmine. The surrounding notes smell too warm in comparison to the cool smelling jasmine.

This is a very sweet yet indolic jasmine scent, however the strongest note I get is BANANA which apparently isn’t one of the notes present. But really, to my nose this is like a creamy, tropical banana dessert! It might be the brown sugar + jasmine combo that smells like banana pudding to me.
