I Received this as a gift. i can assure you this is the best one. totally new scent.

This could be called less sweet version of habdan with added spine ! Habdan to me had ice cool rich candied apple vibes , obsidian has warmer equally rich smelling Caramel-apple with more pronounced oud plus a sensual accord which to my nose is a combination of sandalwood and scratchy ever so slightly animalic musk which is the twist that makes obsidian a better rendition imo. That sensual accord plus the oud are carrying the caramely fun aspect of this scent forward and giving it it’s vigor and niche personality. After a while the oud steps back and the scratchy musc-sandalwood combo drops the veil and lets you see it without cover, which smells a lot like the same sensual accord you get from the late drydowns of some orto parsi refrences. I like this late drydown just like the opening, to my nose it has addictive qualities as I find a touch of skank desirable in right blends so if someone’s nose is not there yet they might find the later stages funny! Obsidian has an intoxicating effect, had couple sprays on the inside of my elbow and caught whiffs of it coming through double face masks when walking. Makes me wish it was drinkable so I could have a sniff and take a sip!

i just tried this one today. its a good fragrance, definitely. no doubt about it. its a woody warm fragrance with its unique characteristics. but my problem with this niche fragrance is some sweetness that in the last phase appears and lasts till the end. probably from caramel or cotton candy (based on the notes of the product they tell us). this sweetness is a turn off for me. id definitely prefer a bitter note besides that beautiful woody scent instead of this sweetness. anyway, i recommend this to anybody for trying but now i can say i would not buy it. maybe if i try it in winter or in cold autumn, my review would change a little but for summer or spring, definitely not my choice cuz that sweetness bothers me.

this perfume is stunning, as a person who has always been seeking for being different and special, this scent really completed me.

Oh my goodness!!! you gotta try on this oneeeeeeeeeeeee. wow. It's so amazing.The luxurious scent have I ever had.
