Casablanca

Casablanca by La Boticá is a delicate, fresh, fig scent done in a refined, yet hyper realistic way. Compared to Philosykos, Casablanca feels modern and atmospheric--no aldehydes and the dry down stays fresh instead of powdery. The iris note is a subtle soapy touch that supports the fig. The fig almost has an apricot or peachy vibe, but it is unmistakably fig--green and strangely aquatic. It becomes slightly dryer and woodier on the skin, never losing its delicate balance. This is so good--I feel peaceful and relaxed when I wear this. I'm not sure if how this would hold up in cold weather, but this is absolute perfection for the warmer months. Maybe this is my favorite fig now? My full bottle list keeps growing. 4.5/5

first impressions: green and floral. It makes me think of recess. My grade school had these tall bushes with waxy leaves and big blooms in pink, purple, white. Sometimes we'd pick the buds early and peel away the layers to see what's inside. Dries down a touch sweeter than would be perfect for me, but still a very nice and clean composition. Smells like when the mornings are still cold. (edit: open to trade/sale on this bottle. pm if interested)

Really good balance of grounding woodsy notes and bright fig and botanicals. Pretty intense at first, but mellowed out after a bit. Crisp and clean scent, feels well put together. Very wearable and versatile, but I’d definitely tone back how much I use if using it in the office.

Picked this up after a jaunt through the whole La Botica collection, was surprised by how much I enjoyed the peach notes as they hit you. It's clean & fresh, a little loud initially (so spray sparingly) but it's a really durable wear for an evening out, for casual fun & by yourself walking about the neighborhood. Less good for wearing to work unless applied lightly, but I feel like this is a quality scent for when you want a clean, fresh summer scent but don't want to smell like laundry.

Not my cup of tea on skin, but I want this as a room spray. Like, actually. Just simple and clean.

y'all, I cannot believe I am saying this, but this is giving philosykos a RUUUUUUNNN for its money. Very identical in scent make up but this LASTTS on my skin, I am in shock, stunned, dumb founded. This is taking philosykos's place in my heart as the number one fig leaf, I did not think it could be done. GET YOUR NOSE ON THIS BEAUTY!
