Patchouli Baie Rose

I generally dislike patchouli, but love this. It's both herbal and spicy, but balanced, with some resinous elements from the elemi. It's got a beautiful ginger-tea-lemon combination that I find very soothing. The patchouli grounds it enough/adds earthiness so that it doesn't smell too thin. It's like a symphony of well balanced elements. I never thought I would fall in love with a fragrance with patchouli in the name, but here we are!

This is a lovely spicy tea fragrance- on me it smells a bit like a spicy sweet iced tea! Which makes it really lovely and refreshing in the summer but I think it would work in the cooler weather as well since the ginger and cardamom keeps it warm. Really nice- not sure i would spend the money on a full bottle .....but I suspect this one will grow on me and I will end up wanting more!

Great fragrance. Smells amazing. Zeste Patchouli Baie Rose and it's all about that zesty patchouli combo. Last 11+ hours. Moderate projection. Moderate sillage. The more I try from this house, the more I'm pleasantly surprised by their fragrances. So far everything I've tried smells amazing and is very high quality. A must try house for everyone.

Not getting any patch in this one. What I get is the citruses, which fade away quickly; followed by green tea, a lot of ginger and A LOT of cardamom. For some reason, I get bamboo shoots, too. The opening is pleasant, and it's very natural smelling, but can be too much for some, as it really packs a punch! Over time the spiciness gets softer and softer, then I get some slight sweet resins(natural sweetness, nothing sugary). No musc detected. To me, this scent screams India! Overall, it's not experimental, unconventional, or daring; it's a pleasant perfume, which is made using good materials, and is decently priced.

Lots of gritty sharp pink pepper. Citrus, a faint dose of patch. 2 hrs of moderate projection, then fades to skin scent. Boring, sharp, and not well blended. Insane price tag of $200 for this level of basic. Bon Parfumeur has better scents for less than $100. For $120 you can buy a something from Room 1015 - better blended and more interesting.

I’m genuinely impressed by this fragrance — it gives me strong Chanel Allure Homme Sport EDT vibes, but with its own twist. It kicks off with a zesty splash of citrus and ginger, then mellows into a soothing blend of tea, cardamom, and a whisper of elemi. Very therapeutic. 🍋🫖 The patchouli is subtle but ever-present, quietly anchoring the scent all the way through to the dry down. Performance is moderate: think 6–8 hours of wear with about 2 hours of noticeable projection — not a beast, but it shows up. Overall, it’s bright, calming, and just plain pleasant. A safe blind buy. Hard to go wrong with this one.
