Poggio in Fiore

Poggio in Fiore Perfumer: Gerard Parodi Poggio in Fiore is translated to Flowery Hillock, and it's a tiare-flower bomb, the tiare is really prominent from the start to the end, and maybe it's my nose, but I cannot smell the caramel in here hahahaha.... It is really sweet, and for some might be a bit cloying. As the name suggests, the feminine name is meant for female audiences, and this is very feminine, but I wear it nonetheless gahahahahaha. Poggio in Fiore has above average longevity and decent silage, just like the rest of the La Collina Toscana Eau de Parfum. I imagine Poggio in Fiore as the youngest girl in the initial party of 4 (the older brothers being: Loggia dei Mercanti, Borgo delle Stelle, and Rocca della Signoria). She wears glasses, she is sweet, composed and calm, the one who likes to be outdoor in a flowery hill reading books, maybe like Belle, the character from Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

I lusted over the notes in this perfume for a long time, finally took the plunge and bought it. If I went with my gut instinct I would have saved money and time looking for an interesting Gourmond scent. The top notes bring to mind a tropical beach scent to me, but what I got was an amazing blend of all three. If there was any stand out it was the Frangipani. The caramel is there, but it's not pushy or super sweet. The moss is the best surprise it keeps the perfume from being over the top sweet. I don't write many reviews, but this is such a beautiful perfume I wanted to share my love for it. I have already bought 2 backups since it I is moderately priced and it is a top 5 favorite of mine.

Creamy. Gorgeous! Lots of toffee and Vanilla in basenote - and somehow it reminds me of D&G The One on my skin in base - but more elegant and classy. Very longlasting on my skin. Krämig. Ljuvlig! Massa karamell och vanilj i basnoten och på nåt sätt så påminner den om D&G the One på mig i basnoten - men mer elegant och klassisk. Otroligt hållbar på min hud..

definitely smell the frangipani! I feel that this scent is creamy and warm but fresh. love wearing this for hanging out at home or before bed

Frangipani, cotton candy like, slightly musky, and very sweet. The longevity is eternal, silage is great.
