Aura Vanilla Milk

Don’t let the name fool you. There’s actually zero vanilla or milk notes in this fragrance. It starts off with a burst of sweet, juicy mandarin and tart bergamot, rounded out by a tiny kick of pink pepper. I can detect an effervescent bubblegum vibe too?? As it settles, it transitions into airy white florals. The sweet, musky jasmine is beautifully balanced by fresh, green freesia, with a soft, powdery backdrop that gives off lavender baby cologne. That juicy mandarin note and light pink pepper lingers too! It dries down like a softer, less loud version of PDM Valaya, but with a creamy, sweet, musk reminiscent of VS Bare Vanilla. One spray each in my wrist and the fragrance leaves at least an arm-length trail. 7 hours later, I can still smell it on my wrist. And yes, I wash with a different scented hand soap. I think I understand why it's named Vanilla Milk now. It captures the exact feeling of soaking in a tub of cold vanilla milk, drying off in a fresh, fluffy towel (and lounging in a fruit-bearing orchard)

Dupes of Valaya and even the original one does not work for my skin due to its harsh opening. But this version is softer and I enjoyed this compared to the others I've tried. Indeed, for summer or warm weather. This is refreshing and relaxing.
