Incredible. Rave review. Love it. Definitely a strange one, exactly what I like. I don't quite get violet, but there are some light sweet notes, citrus and rose. It doesn't come across powdery, which is a good thing for me. The moss comes through most clearly, strong and even a little bit musty, with the cedar lurking in the background. I don't quite get leather or latex but it would pair well with either of them, and there's definitely something plastic or unnatural to it. Inspired blend of earthy and synthetic. Cohesive and singular. The earthiness keeps it warm, the synthetic qualities make it feel somewhat alien or otherworldly (just a little bit). If you like old book smell or woody mossy type scents then it's a must-try. You'd be hard pressed to find something better in this area.

A brief review based on a sample from what I assume would be the re-release. Heavy on the orris-type powderiness. Something plasticine in the opening which is pleasant, aldehydic, poppy. Settles into more powdery suede and saffron-leather. Not really getting any latex from this at all. If you stick your nose in it, it does give a sensation not dissimilar to running out of breath. Try holding your breath for a while. There's a certain tingling that the scent, it's aromatic texture alludes to. An okay scent that falls a little short of it's promise of latex and kink, but rather is a pleasant albeit quiet beige iris/orris root powder bomb.

The opening is weird but the drydown is 100% like a vintage bookstore, full of leather bound books. Very realistic. I like it for a book or leather shop but don’t really want to smell like that myself.
