ok Introduction Troy Pierce is a man who was a member of the famous techno minimal movement. He was a member of the Minus label led by the world famous minimal techno pioneer Richie Hawtin. Troy has always deviated and was different in his musical expression then others. Magda and Marc made a new label Ithems / Things with him and they have great releases there.and this is a collaboration of fragrances between Troy Pierce and Natalia Escobar( Pierce with Arrow) and Mark Buxton. If I'm going to speak like a fan .. (music fan) this is the scent you must have. Even if you are a fan of techno/ weird electronica music combined with niche perfume this is totally for you. The scent is not for clubbing at all.Or maybe yes.. hmm..? The smell is a story unto itself The fragrance is unfortunately already a story told by an earlier Frederic Malle in the French Lover fragrance. So ... if you know what a Frederic Malle French Lover smells like? ... this is it! In my opinion, a very well done copy with a longer and louder projection. A little a shade sharper but that's it. We’re talking about that scent here. Mark Buxton did a really great job here Skin duration: 6+ hours Projection 2 + loud then subsides along the skin.

On opening, my wrist smells like a spring day at the farm: a very balanced combination of animalic notes, wildflowers, pepper, and just the exact amount of rose. I keep smelling it and waiting for the animalic notes to overpower the rest, but using them in the right measure is one of Mark Buxton's great talents. As it sets on the skin the mix of rose, amber and vetiver shines through and the perfume becomes sexier, albeit less intriguing. With the florals subduing, it's a bit more masculine than I originally expected but still very much unisex, especially if you're into more niche fragrances. To me this is the perfect scent to wear while reading in a park bench, perhaps to forget that I'm still in the city. It's a perfume of fantasy and exploration, not one of Buxton's most complex but definitely worth a try. Edit: I wrote this review 2h in, after 2.5/3h the perfume evolves to a one-note vetiver. A lot more masculine than before. I'd still wear it but it's just disappointing compared with how good the opening is.
