Noir Toscane / Vanille Raisin

Sweet Melange of GRAPE Scents with HONEY & Osmanthus-LEATHER. In the first couple of minutes before the spray dries, I can feel the grape which reads like grape-jelly, grape-koolaid and grapes. Once the spray dries and the sillage starts to open up, I get the honey with the grape and a background fruitiness that's more of a melange of grape scents (jelly, koolaid & concord). As it transitions to the heart, there's a lovely, cool osmanthus added to the mix. Osmanthus here is more forward than the notes would suggest, and reads like a nude-leather built with an animalic amber-oud which supercharges the performance. As it's drying down the sweetness gets rounder with vanilla, while amber holds everything together. I didn't love this at first, until the bottle aged after first sprays (a year or more). Before that the osmanthus was overpowering everything for me. Now it's in balance, and I'm really enjoying the grape-melange. This has excellent performance for year-round wear, but I would be more likely to wear this in cooler months. Contrast to Casablanca Swiss Arabian: These are different, but there are similarities with a sweet grape scent punctuated by suede-leather note (osmanthus' leathery facet in the case of Noir Toscane). Casablanca has a more forward caramel-apple. Both have excellent performance but both required dark storage after first sprays to balance out. Overall: super sweet grape-melange scent punctuated by a leather-y osmanthus that supercharges the performance. It's become a love for me. Enjoy!

This perfume is happiness in a bottle. Tastes like honey-drenched grapes, very juicy, clean, and just soooooo sweet. A definite compliment magnet. The dry-down is coziness as a scent and gives me the feeling of a warm hug. Currently has been my signature scent for about a year already, and the fact that it’s so unknown where I live makes me get so many compliments from other girls and they often tell me that they haven’t often smelled perfumes like this before. However, I do definitely believe that it probably does not suit everyone and I’d strongly advise you to let it marinate for quite a bit before wearing it. I wouldn’t say it’s an easy blind-buy either, it can smell a bit childish to some, and it’s almost niche. And to be entirely transparent, I really had to get used to it at first, but now I can’t live without it. It’s also very similar to Azzaro Wanted Girl By Night, which is the initial reason why I bought this one since I couldn’t find WGBN in the stores in my area (random town in Switzerland). I really loved the Azzaro one, and once again, while wearing the Azzaro, I had people tell me that the scent was amazing but that it also really suited me personally for whatever reason. I’m certain that it’s the magical work of those distinctly sweet grapes. Maybe grapes are the vibes I give off. Now I try to find grape notes every time I want to buy a new perfume.

Grape juice drowned in honey-vanilla syrup. It's lovely and makes me happy. It has silage and is noticeable for the first 3-4 hours then becomes a sweet skin scent. Based on the notes we could expect a synthetic mess but in my opinion this is not. It smells like something I would drink or eat. I love it and will definitively look at more stuff from La Maison de la Vanille. Their prices are fair and their scents come in a simple metal bottle that is easy to carry while travelling.

This is a strong, rich honey fragrance that reminds me very much of Ginestet Botrytis. Noir Tuscane is the 'before', all deep purple grapes bursting with sweetness whilst 'after' comes Botrytis with that heady fermented wine note.

I don't know what button this fragrance pressed in my brain but I bought it as soon as I smelled it. Grape candy bomb here, explosively strong at the first 2 hours at 3 sprays but basically vanishes in 4. I have no complaints except for its longevity. Asked a flatmate if she smells anything after 4 hours and she said none.

This is a great smelling perfume, but the scent doesn't last very long on my skin. I get a very unique, sweet grape fragrance for about an hour and then it dries down to become a very light, amber-y scent.

Welch's concord grape juice. And a little goes a long way.

Grape juice but with a smoky touch! This smells so good on me. almost incensey You have to get your hands on this if you are a vanilla lover and with this mixture of grape juice. Not bad smelling in any way. It does become a skin scent in the dry down but very pretty and cozy smelling. This will be my cozy scent durnin winter and summer (rainy days). Fantastic for the price almost niche quality! 10/10 you have to try this and I am definitely trying more from this house!

Bubblegum grape, peachy and floral notes of osmanthus, honey and vanilla. It reminds me of scented pencils for children, so cute! This is very feminine and fun. I think I need this sweet innocent scent in my life.
