Adios Pampamia Mujer

This has turned out to be one of the best blind buys I have made. I am surprised there are only two other reviews of Adios Pampamia. This is a gem and a real bargain, with 30ml available online for less than £20 sterling at the time of writing (I am guessing it is discontinued). When first spritzed, AP hits you with quite a forceful puff of lovely powdery vanilla underpinned by delicious hazelnut, reminding me of Nutella (a little like that in Just Cavalli Gold, another love of mine). Incense (similar to that in Gres Cabaret) and gentle woody notes give AP a bit of backbone. On drydown, I am also picking up an unlisted leather note, which was commented on by the first reviewer julante.rapante, although I find it far more subtle and appealing than s/he does; leather/suede isn't listed here, so I checked online and have found slightly different notes on basenotes (below). Top Notes: Hazelnut leaf, Pink pepper Heart Notes: Freesia, Iris, Frankincense Base notes: Amber, Vanilla Another site lists "burning woods" in the base, which makes more sense than the "woody notes" in Fragrantica's pyramid. I can't comment on the comparisons to the other perfumes listed above, as I haven't smelled any of them. Longevity and sillage are both moderate. I bought this based on one of the Fragrantican "bargain bests" list. I love the drydown on this, creamy warm hazelnut and smooth velvety musk. But I have to spray it on my clothes and wear them later to enjoy this fragrance because the opening spray and first hour carries that burning wet woods/oud note that I have to avoid. But it is so perfect once dried down, and lasts so long on clothes I bought several more bottles. It is my evening at home comfort scent; cuddly, womanly and serene.

I won this from an auction on eBay after checking the pyramid here first and I wasn't let down. What a pretty scent! The opening was sweet- probably the vanilla and slightly leathery but the kind when you get in a new car. After an hour I can detect the hazelnut and amber. The drydown smells of a creamy smoky hazelnut. I can't stop sniffing my wrist . What an underrated perfume that is actually quite unique in my opinion.

It was nice suprice, how luxyries this perfume are - Usually I want perfume to has many more notes, but this is so nicely blended! First you can smell hazelnut creamyness with the pink pepper and littlebit creen notes, then iris, vanilla and amber, peak of incence and after some hours, in the skin smells smooth "velvety musk"- I feel this is littlebit Guerlain- type of scent!

Gosh I think this is gorgeous! Beautiful sweet hazelnut and vanilla, with lovely soft incense, and tender wood. No leather smell at all! Amazing how different perfumes can smell on different people isn't it? Goodness me, well for me it's lovely. Lovely gentle soft sweet flowers, and smooth creamy amber. It's just beautiful!

I adore this. Is bone dry, pencil shavings style. The vanilla is present, but it’s not gourmand-y, I guess the powdery iris note tones it down giving that “dry” feeling. Definitely woody, don’t see any creaminess in it, but oddly it is very comforting - maybe like taking a shower, putting clean warm clothes and staying in front of a fireplace after you got muddy and cold from walking in the rain.

Niche-quality. Nutty, Incense-ladden, powdery iris. it’s creamy, but not sweet at all. Dry down is warm and woody. This is a bit challenging and maybe some sort of an acquired taste, but I like it a lot and the price-quality ratio is excellent. Try it if you like woody stuff with a velvety feel to it.

- very strange frag, it is so called dry scent. It begins somehow green 🌿 with smoke 💨 and nuts 🌰🌰🌰 it dries nutty sweet with woods🌲 and vanilla. It stays hours and hours, maybe more than 6-7 ✔️

I ordered it because it sounded interesting to me. Well it smells like wet leather but in a way I can't stand. I sprayed it on a scarf and waited a while. Then I smelled it again and I didn't like it at all. In my opinion the leather scent is overwhelming and it smells more like a shoe factory than a perfume.

It's just something green ,nothing special. Like fern,damp dark winter woods. Nothing creamy or warm .. well maybe it's just me.

Wearing my bottle for the 3rd or 4th time, since I bought it and its my 1st time wearing it in the summer heat and boy has this little beauty opened up on my skin. This scent needs warmth, for you to experience the subtly smoky incense, the woody nuttiness of the hazelnut. The delightful sweetness of iris and Freesia. The effervescent green notes with the base of Vanilla and Amber. Makes this scent so smooth and sensual. But isnt heavy. There is a bit of powderiness to it too, but not a lot. Which I'm quite relived about. But it does make for a comforting fragrance. And other people have said smells like pencil shavings or dryness, is pleasant and from the hazelnuts. There also may be some small similarity to Incense City by AllSaints but honestly this is much better as it doesn't overwhelm you. And the only downside is that this doesn't last very long. So I end up reapplying but I dont mind as I really enjoy it.

I own 200 bottles and have tried more than 500 scents..This is gorgeous! Airy and magical... and way better than Duelle or Bois d' iris...
