Invisible Touch

I have now gone down a completely unplanned La Perla rabbit hole which is how I blind bought Invisible Touch with no regrets. Invisible Touch has this perfect heavenly powder note (like My Day) but with ripe grapefruit, not a bitter grapefruit, but like the rich, juicy, swoon-worthy ones in Texas called Rio Red. I am getting fresh laundry too and by that I mean hot (ambroxan) and just out of the dryer. The flowers are not indolic and I'm mostly only getting the small white paradisone. This is such a great feminine-leaning scent for humid or dry warm climates. I do find it sexy, but not in a sex forward way come-to-my-bed-now way. It's demure, clean, flirty, positive, but not sexless at all as with other popular flex day scents. This is a perfect scent for a hot, humid climate (summer, but also warm spring and fall days) and for a mood lift, whereas My Day is also heavenly, but slightly more dignified, dreamy iris, contemplative, cool spring PNW sort of counterpart. I love them both! I am so glad I found a decent price on a 30 ml and plan to buy refills as well. Sillage and longevity, both seem in the middle ranges, so a good day time scent, but not completely silent. Update: I had to step away from this one for a bit, but just sprayed it again today and it is even better than I remembered! It's like light spring-clean-sexy? If I get some extra cash I might get some backup bottles as I don't think I have anything else quite like it.

This is gorgeous. A light, clean fragrance with a barely-there feminine sweetness. The dry-down has a very mild cola-likeness on me. This smells like a clean woman. Not an overly aquatic, green or sharp clean, though. A soft, sweet floral essence that smells as though you soaked with a luxury bath bomb a half-hour prior. My description makes this sound stronger than it is. It’s delicate but smells expensive. 100% can wear this as a nurse. I can feel like I smell pretty without smelling like perfume or being offensive to sensitive noses.

I agree with others calling this "angelic" ...it truly is. What a beautiful Iris fragrance, so well balanced! ) La Perla website notes Iris, so I'm not sure these note are 100% accurate) The aldehydes are not sharp at all... This is a soft scent overall. It's powdery, a bit citrusy, musky, and a touch woody. It really took me by surprise. I guess I was expecting not to like it? I love it.

Angelic and celestial. It smells like a lightly scented body lotion (in a good way). Soft, delicate, feminine. This is definitely not a fragrance for an edgy outfit or red lipstick ; this fragrance is more for the ombre french manicured nails and ivory cashmere coat. It's a "meet the parents" perfume. I love it for what it is - an elegant and inoffensive safe-for-the-office perfume.

New favorite! very aldehydic throughout, citrusy opening. Goes into powdery violet, ambroxan dry down. Not a 1:1 comparison but sort of reminds me of a vintage perfume like n°5 crossed with a modern your skin but better scent, like glossier you. Entirely its own thing though. Very pleasant and feminine, clean and sparkling.

Completely, and utterly femininity in a bottle! This is a summer time, fragrance for me is fresh and floral. It is a skin scent, but this stuff is so classy, I absolutely love it

Literally Delicate Lingerie in a bottle. Perfectly resembles La Perla lingerie line. Feminine, modern, clean, delicate. I am so in love.

[425] I picked this up at random to test at a department store, and was surprised to smell a similarity to Chanel No. 5, specifically Eau Première - my flanker of choice. The bright yet soft aldehydic and citrus notes of the opening alongside the floral heart and slight woodiness of the drydown make it Chanel-like, but Invisible Touch is softer, less radiant and violet-dominant. I love a good violet note in perfumery, and its rendering here is softly pretty and delicate, in keeping with the theme of IT. IT opens with bright, soapy aldehydes and a hint of citric freshness. Soft white and yellow floral notes are evident, but none stand out individually. This is probably the paradisone. As it develops, the violet comes to the fore, becoming dominant. Powdery rose joins it, forming a soft lipstick accord, again in keeping with the theme of this scent. Ylang ylang adds a slight sweetness, but it is restrained and smooth, not overly tropical. The floral heart is beautiful - nicely balanced and well-rounded, softly sensual, yet elegant. The woody-amber drydown is fairly generic, but suits this scent. It thankfully isn't too ambroxan-heavy, but it does linger a bit after it fades. A hint of patchouli adds some earthiness. As it fades, it can be summed up as remnants of the florals on a woody-amber base. Sillage is intimate and longevity is moderate. Pretty and feminine, yet sophisticated and well-composed, IT is truly lovely. A soft, creamy violet-rose with aldehydes, it is a subtle, modern alternative to No. 5. 4/5.

No, not invisible, minimalistic. That's not the same as unseen. It feels like it has the potential to be the signature scent of someone who doesn't want to smell like they are wearing perfume but does want to project a fragrance off their skin of clean, no-fuss neutrality. If "drama free" was a perfume, its name would be La Perla Invisible Touch. For once, the listed top notes are all exactly as both the house and Fragrantica list. It's pepper and bergamot with an expected aldehyde lift. The top notes last longer than most other fragrances I've tested and enjoyed. The heart holds on to the aldehydes and adds in slight, breezy florals, I'm assuming a result of the paradisone and an unlisted musk. At least my nose says musk. The base is all benzoin, which hints of cinnamon here for me, and ambroxan which is not a favorite note for me, but it's not objectionable in this fragrance either. I understand the references to Chanel 5 L'eau. The same comparisons can be made to Fleur de Peau from Diptyque (my choice of this type), and numerous other neutral, clean, and pretty offerings. I like Invisible Touch, but it seems to dial me back just a little too much. Apparently, I don't mind a bit of drama in my fragrance :)

This is a lovely, gently sparkling, aldehydic scent that feels soft over sharp. It's violet aldehyde over rose aldehyde, so fuzzy offer crystalline. Could easily be compared to scents like Musc for Her or Et Voila, but this is more powdery (in a deodorant kind of way) and floral the former and sits better on the skin (and more complexity) than the latter. The bergamot gives a pleasant citrus facet as well. This dries down on my skin like the smell and texture of a powder-y deodorant - I don't mean that in a bad way, it's a very nostalgic smell for me (like the OG powder-scented Secret), but it even conjures that slight chalky puckery thing that powdery deodorants often do. I enjoy this one. I will say, there's def a common palette between this, Villa Sorrento (green bottle, blue cap) and My Day (green bottle, purple cap). All are soft floral aldehydes with varying degrees of citrus; Villa Sorrento is lemon pez, this is Secret deodorant (tbc 2 scents I love), but My Day is just on another level. It's got elements of the two, but that combination of iris and orris is just PERFECT. If you can have all in your collection, you'll be very happy, but if you were only getting one, I would go My Day, every day.

Bright and old fashioned - in a delightful way. I feel like I'm transported to late 1950s early 60s Milan on a spring day - all kitten heels and pastel pencil skirts with matching sleeveless tops. Because of my job I like to dip into different eras. This is not a scent for a 'modern woman' (whatever that means), but I don't follow trends or play the same genre of music over and over - it's fun to mix it up. It's a shame it's discontinued, I will use my sample sparingly.

The aldehyde is absolutely dominant in this one. It smells like fresh laundry and cotton, but also sweet. I like it, but not loving it. But then my boyfriend smelled it yesterday. Normally he has 3 levels, "it's too masculine", "I like it" and "it's ok", but last night, when I tried it, he actually liked it a lot. It is mostly a daytime perfume, no seductive or sexy, but feminine and clean.

This beautiful perfume opens with a zing! as the aldehydes give way to a citrusy zest with the pepper (which is not my favorite note) quiet around the edges. As it dries down it becomes more soft, musky and powdery but not in a vintage way. Just very pretty and clean (without being soapy) smelling. This whole line is so unusual and I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Lovely iris-rosy aldehydic fragrance. In tune with the theme of luxury silk boudoir wear that La Perla is known for. The bottle is very cute. Will not purchase as I currently own Chanel 19 Poudrée and Rosine Rose Nue which are very similar in style.

First thing I thought of as soon as I smelled this was, Johnson's Baby Shampoo from the 70's. Not the reformulated scent that it smells like today. What a blast from the past! Smells clean and innocent! Great for daytime or Summer.

This smells like a the angels from Good Omens (iykyk). Aldehydes with the softest touch of amber. And yeah, it smells like No.5. But I like this one better.

This is exactly an invisible touch. It smells clean, barely there and a bit shampoo-ish. I am not sure how paradisone smells like, but it seems there is a lot of this note in here as I can't really grasp on any other notes except for aldehydes, musk, bergamot and pink pepper. It is a nice perfume, just seems overpriced for what it is. Truly similar to some well-know aldehydic concoctions.

If you like this, but dont want to spend so much money, definitly go for Esprit d'Oscar Oscar de la Renta. So, sooo similar. Soapy, powdery, a hint citrusy.

Very outdated perception of what feminine perfume means. It’s so powdery and aldehydic, it’s boring. I am particularly upset because for that pricing, you get something so weak that you can smell it only with your nose on your skin. I would be ashamed to sell this if I was a perfumer.

This was a blind buy cause I loved the bottle. My advice, don't blind buy this one ;) It smells like Aspirin tablets, a bit acidic and effervescent. There's some sweetness and powder in the background. Overall, not for me.
