What is it that makes all these notes sing together in perfect harmony? The magic of Louise Turner? Now that we all know that La Perla is in the throes of a big financial crisis (if not bankruptcy), the price gouging for this beauty is unbelievable. What started at $340 retail price is now three to four times more. It’s beyond ridiculous but it is the world we live in...however frustrating and wrong it is... When I first tried it, back in 2022, after COVID was ebbing away, I thought it was a beautiful fragrance but not worth its price. So I just ignored it. Each time I went to Nordstrom, I’d smell it, get the occasional free sample (just because) and move on. Until I heard rumors of discontinuation. By that time, the perfume had flown off the shelves and it was damn near impossible to find a bottle anywhere. So I scrambled and found a 12ml somewhere on eBay and held on to my little samples from Nordstrom with my life. I even begged a Nordstrom employee to sell me their display bottle and lost my dignity in the process but damn my dignity, I needed Possibilities because it was now one of those rare items and my ocd for rare perfume was full on. I obsessed over it for weeks on end until finally, I understood that it wasn’t going to happen, La Perla wasn’t going to bring it back and that was it... Fast forward to last week when by pure chance, I found a full bottle, sealed and brand new, for sale on the grey market and took a huge gamble because it was priced at, you guessed it, $340!!!!!! I bought it immediately and now, I am the proud owner of this wonderful, beautiful, unicorn and magical potion! I am beyond happy. You all know what it smells like: flowery, fruity, lipstick-y decadent and delicious. This is one that I will cherish forever, it is one of my most prized possessions. Not because it was the most expensive (I have much pricier bottles than this one in my collection) but because it is beyond scarce and that’s what motivates me the most. Am I shameless? Yes, yes I am. But I am shamelessly happy. ❤️🖤🖤🖤

Here's the thing, I knew I would love this fragrance. There's an x-factor in this beautiful composition I won't be able to explain with just a review of the notes. After having a successful experience with La Perla Signature, I went snooping for more of the same. I really hadn't given the brand's fragrance lines any of my attention, but their Signature fragrance had piqued my curiosity. La Perla Possibilities, by the same magic-wielding perfumer, seemed the way to go. It's not, however, more of the same, not even close. Unlike Signature, which you should also give a sniff, Possibilities is a wearable statement maker. It's not a fragrance along for a lowkey ride throughout your day; subtle and background. Instead, it's driving the convertible while wearing lingerie. It feels intentionally sensual...aware of appeal. You need to be sure when you spray this one on that you are up to no good ;) and while I love it, not everyone will enjoy this throwback fragrance, but they definitely should :) Noteworthy Possibilities has a wonderful --up to no good vibe :D It's warm and invites others to consider a lean in. On top --a slight pepper opening, but mostly freesia. The black currant isn't a distinct player for me, but I do get a fruit note. It’s deep, not bright or flirty. The middle --is a rose, a warm and spicy rose but I still smell freesia as well. I'm not familiar with the fragrance of petalia, but there's another floral lifting off my skin here. The base --is still carrying the rose and a bit of something pretty and patchouli-ish to my nose. The cashmere wood is lovely and the ambergris knowing. Possibilities went immediately to my Fragrantica favorite shelf, where it will remain as far as I can tell. I don't think I'll ever be without this one. It just feels too good wearing it, to even consider that possibility.

I tried this fragrance due to the hype that it has received and I was not disappointed. When I wear it, I feel really elegant and confident. It is such a beautiful and modern take on a rose-forward floral composition. I say that it is rose-forward, because, of the floral notes, it is the most prominent to my nose. However, it is not overpowering nor is it dominating. I can definitely smell freesia and orange blossom as well. The vanilla and black currant keep it from being too floral but are definitely in the background; I would not classify it as a particularly vanillic or fruity perfume. One of the most alluring aspects of Possibilities is its spiciness, which is very much due to a pepper note. While I enjoy the pepper note, I could see it being a turn off for many people, especially if pepper tends to be strong on their skin or they do not enjoy that kind of spiciness. So, I strongly suggest sampling (not blind buying it based on the hype). I would say that it is in the same family as Atomic Rose by Initio, as both are floral, rose-centric fragrances that have a spicy quality that is due to pepper (not the kind of spiciness that is found in Portait of a Lady, for instance). However, I enjoy Possibilities more than Atomic Rose, which I consider to be a bit too sharp. I am also somewhat reminded of Narciso Rouge, even though Possibilities is more spicy and fruity, while Rouge is powdery and musky. Maybe the rose and orange blossom are similar in both or I just equate them based on the way that they make me feel: pretty, elegant, put together, and confident.

Just got a 15mL travel bottle from eBay! Lucky me because there were only 2 and I got one! Review to come....this one is nice. Demi Rawling got this one right. It's a peppery, spicy rose scent. It's warm, it's sexy, it's inviting. The spices and roses are a 1:1. The freesia provides some nice lift to the scent, keeping it from getting too heavy. The base is a sweet, smooth one with the woods, vanilla, and musk. Projection is good and the longevity is even better. A few spritz should keep you smelling good for a solid 8 hours. I layered it with Roses Vanille and it's muah! Chef's Kiss! Even rosier and even sweeter-just my style. This is a great date night scent from a very prestigious lingerie company so, nuff' said. On duping, I know there's a company that dupes an insane amount of fragrances. I'll have to search for them and I'll post a link. Julianna's Perfume has a way you can suggest fragrances for their line to dupe and popular ones get duped. If you want to try something close, on dry down, Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper by Kayali layered with Roses Vanille by Mancera smells similar to the dry down of Possibilities, it's just missing the freesia and black pepper note, it's also a little sweeter. I think I might actually like those 2 together more, tbh. They also have more projection. I purchased this incredible fragrance on my lunch break at a discount store, at a discounted price (100$😲) And I had to haggle that! I thought the sales lady had lost her MIND. I bought it in the summer, and knew that I could not wear it at that time. I allowed it to macerate until the fall, but FORGOT that I owned it, so it sat for even longer. I cannot stress the importance of maceration as it relates to fragrance. This perfume will only suit the woman that wears herself with extreme confidence in every situation. You cannot expect to enter any space wearing this, and not be recognized. Attention will find you, noses will follow you, and all eyes will be on you. I had NO IDEA this perfume was going to touch the lives of so many🤭😂 whats sooo funny to me is, I probably would have not started wearing it had my son not started sneaking into my room spraying it on before going to work! This perfume is perfect for layering, and I actually recommend it in some cases. It can be overpowering. If you are outdoors, not so much, but indoors, it needs softening. A vanilla based fragrance dances beautifully with this one.

I have been trying to get my hands on this fragrance for probably a year because I love the individual notes, but it has been almost impossible to get because of the hype as it is sold out everywhere on the internet. Anyway, I finally got it and the anticipation was worth it even though the customs fee was brutal! Possibilities is a strong, sweet, feminine rosey-floral. It smells luxurious but definitely not niche. Slightly powdery and spicy, I can see this being something most people would enjoy smelling. I have been testing it and asked a couple of fragrance obsessed people and they all complimented the scent. If you like something like Delina, Atomic Rose or Attrape-Rêves, this might be up your alley. Possibilities is actually one of the best fragrances I have smelled in a while, because I love something that is feminine, easy to wear and preferably slightly powdery/spicy. Perfect scent for a night out or a date but it is versatile enough to be worn daytime without being inappropriate. To me this is a musky, powdery rose with sweetness from amber and vanilla.

La Perla Possibilities is an absolute beauty. From the first spray, you’re hit with a juicy burst of blackcurrant quickly followed by pink pepper, but the pink pepper doesn’t just make an appearance and leave - it sticks around, giving the scent a subtle, spicy edge that reminds me a bit of the vibe in Rouge Malachite. Now, this isn’t a “rose” perfume per se - don’t expect a dewy bouquet. The florals here are blended so smoothly it’s hard to pick out individuals, but together they create something incredibly alluring. Sensual, spicy, and just the right amount of sweet thanks to the blackcurrant and vanilla base that keeps things soft and balanced. It never tips into overpowering territory- just floats around you. In my opinion, it’s absolutely worthy of the hype. I started with a wee 12ml bottle and within days I knew... full bottle worthy. (Edit: Big bottle secured. Zero regrets.) Easily my favourite fragrance discovery of the year so far.

Well, I do appreciate when reviewers introduce us to new and great fragrances. They do the leg work for us. That said, they sometimes do it because they are getting kick backs. But, in this case, the hype is real. This fragrance is soo good. I am over the moon in love. It is def in my top 5 now. It does have a bit of an escada vibe to it...but some of the reviewers may be too young to even know that scent. This fragrance has just the right amount of pink pepper and freesia and a bit of rose...then the ambergris, cashmere and vanilla stand in the back ground supporting the ultimate beauty of this fragrance. Absolute love for me and it lasts all day and on my clothes well after the day is over. However, it is not loud..much more a small and personal scent bubble, which is perfectly fine for me. I used to love loud scents, but I have learned that subtlety is class. This fragrance is pure class all whilst being super sexy.

So here it is.....a lot of influencers said this is a sexy fragrance. True. Sexy, warm and enveloping, but very rich and heavy, so just one spray please, and strategically. Very smart and classy too. Definitely cooler weather or sexy night. This is hot date, not first date, and although described as fruity floral, I would describe as floral spicy. Really a beautiful, enticing scent. This exceeded my expectations, and that is no easy feat as a parfum connoisseur. In the opening. I get pink pepper and freesia. This transcends into rose and orange blossom. This ends with woods, cashmere and vanilla. Mexican vanilla is thicker and very warm and sweet. Not surprised that this is Louise Turner. This is well dressed, feminine, professional woman, who is smart and sexy. Give it a try first. Don’t blind buy.

This arrived today and it didn't smell like I thought it would. Emmy on YouTube said it smells more like an expensive face cream, and I agree. She didn't care for it but I do really enjoy it. I would add that this lux face cream is infused with something similar to Rouge Malachite but sweeter and less white floral. I don't get individual notes at all really. It's well blended. It gives a clean and well moisturized vibe. Powder and pepper are peeking through sometimes. It's more floral than fruit on me. It's sweet and sultry while being clean at the same time. It is cacooning in the dry down as the vanilla becomes more prominent. It smells like a put together, grown, sexy (but not overtly sexy) woman to me. It gets better and better the more I wear it. Also the longevity is fabulous!

This is my newest signature scent! It’s strong yet seductive. Sweet but a bit spicy. Works great for day or night depending on your mood. I definitely would not describe this as fruity floral at all but more an amber floral with a rich warm base with the vanilla binding it all together. It’s well blended and smells like money. Sillage is strong and it’s super long wearing! Definitely only spray 1-2 sprays or it’ll be too much. It’s not for the faint of heart but if you love warm spicy florals with some depth and complexity, you will love this! It’s my favorite perfume at the moment and love how unique it is! 10/10

This is quite lovely and smells different than the other florals I have in my collection. Yes, it’s definitely sexy and just the right amount of “mature”. A little fresh, a little spicy, but also has some depth. Although I can detect the orange blossom, it is not an orange blossom dominant fragrance, nor is it in the same family as Love, don’t be shy or any of its flankers - so I don’t agree with the comparisons. It’s ultra feminine and I feel confident when I wear it. Think Boss Babe meets Hot Girl Summer.

Lovely smell, by all means...but...on my skin, this ends up smelling like expensive face cream. Do I like it? Yes. Yes, I do. Would I purchase it for $340 USD? Hell no!!! Why? Because it’s not worth the exorbitant price! It smells floral and pretty and like my nighttime routine 😂 so I certainly don’t feel like forking out that kind of $$$ to end up smelling like right before I go to bed... If I ever find a bottle at a decent price, I’ll definitely get it. Otherwise, I’ll just enjoy my sample and move on...

I ordered the 120ml which I am returning lucky thing I didn’t open and used up my sample first I have a sample of this and liked it at first enitial spray so but the dry down is mehhh it’s giving floral sun screen lotion with a hint of bug spray I do not like the dry down on this at all. I was 50/50 about this and now it’s a no from me I get headaches and nausea from this scent worth the sample but not 120ml bottle worthy neither is the price.

This is the most sophisticated rosey floral scent ever!!!! managed to find myself a 30ml for more than half price. after being out of stock everywhere, coming to find out it has been discontinued I will cherish this 30ml. For everyone trying to get a bottle of this me best bet is to try Amouage Guidance they are very close, only thing is that La Perla is more refined. But they are very alike I would say guidance is La Perla lil sister

This perfume is so beautiful. I got a little test and accidentally dripped some on my hand. When I got to my car my hand smelled so beautiful. I couldn’t tell this perfume had roses until I came on line and saw the notes and then started smelling it. Honestly it’s perfectly blended with the other notes. This is a spicy floral in a very beautiful way ❤️

I find this fragrance confusing. It’s supposed to be sexy but on my skin it just comes across as summery. I don’t get any rose at all. In fact, I don’t get any of the notes except maybe a sweet orange blossom in the vein of LDBS, but much less heavy/sticky/marshmallowy. I definitely like it but it isn’t at all what I was expecting.

This one is a beauty! It reminds me of perfume I'm familiar with and just realized its similar with Hili. Not exact dupe but the woodyness absolutely very close. And instead of coconuty tropical like in Hili, this one has blackcurrant so its more fruity. Nevertheless both are very BEAUTIFUL fragrances... I'm happy to own both 💖

In my opinion, this is stunningly beautiful. I would definitely categorize it as a spicy floral scent. Fifteen minutes after spraying it on clothes and skin it dries down to a musky vanilla on my skin and a peppery floral on my clothes. The blend of the two is delightful. It smells so feminine and classy. I must have a fb.

The perfumer describes it as hypnotic and seductive...indeed. I sampled this and the scent haunted me. Just gorgeous... Unlike impulse buys that I later regret, in this case, I have not unwrapped because I’m getting the larger bottle. Undoubtedly favorite discovery this year.

She's sensual, an allure to her. If she were to greet you, she will welcome you with her arms slow around you engulfing you from behind with her touch. Floral but not too feminine, someone like me would adore. Sexyiness in the background and just a light powdery touch.

I sampled this at the counter today and loved it! It reminds me a lot of Rouge Malachite. It isn’t the same scent, but it gives the same vibe so if you like RM I think you’d love Possibilities. It’s a warm sweet seductive floral scent and it’s potent!

I have two samples of this and it is a masterpiece. So sexy, feminine, powerful and strong. First impression smelling this: you are that woman “perfect, independent and sexy”. The longevity is a beast, you can smell it for days in your clothes.

For those who don’t know this perfume is discontinued, you can’t find it nowhere and I know this bc I have been haunting this for the past 7 months. But if you want something that smells almost like this get TILIA by Marc Antoine Barrois.

I found the 12ML bottles from a beauty site online last month. I was able to order a couple and now I have 3 little bottles. I think I paid $50 each for them. Only thing that sucks is they’re Dabbers and there’s no atomizer.

Mysterious, delicious, and alluring. Such a well blended fragrance that is truly captivating. I get rose, blackcurrant, and an amber/vanilla base. I have a feeling this house will continue to grow in popularity.

a rose lover's dream. elegant and sexy, it smells like a combination of a few other perfumes i know BUT its so so so good. i swear there is something like honey with the florals there as well.

This is beautiful. More vanilla-forward than I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised. If La Perla ever gets their ish together and can produce perfumes again, they better re-release this.

This is a stunning fragrance and I can easily see why so many people love it. It's very warm, sensual, addictive, you wear this and you instantly feel sexy and alluring. It's not a casual jeans and T-shirt fragrance, you definitely need to be dressed up and going out, or wearing very sexy lingerie, to get the true vibe of Possibilities. But it's also not very unique. For the first two hours, the rose and white florals are very dominant, with vanilla and cashmere wood in the background. At this stage, it reminds me of a lot of white floral, vanilla fragrances, such as D&G The Only One Intense. Once the florals go away, it dries down to a very sweet, powdery vanilla and marshmallow scent - very, very similar to Kilian's Love Don't Be Shy and PDM Oriana. This is how it stays until it disappears from your skin. I even tested Possiblities and Oriana side by side and after 3-4 hours, the dry down was very similar. They're not identical at all, but the dry down is still similar. Longevity overall is around 6 hours, with moderate projection for the first two hours. It's not a beast-mode fragrance but it's very inviting and definitely one that needs to be discovered by those close to you. I enjoyed wearing this but I won't purchase a full bottle right now. I might revisit it in the future and change my mind, but at the moment I don't find it unique enough to add it to my collection. La Perla does a very affordable discovery kit, which I would highly recommend if you want to sample Possibilities or other fragrances from the house.

Possibilities is a grown-up, refined floral-fruity that is sweet and feminine, but is nicely composed with high-quality ingredients. However, it smells very familiar, reminiscent of many modern designer feminine perfumes. Possibilities opens with sweet freesia - a note that always reminds me of the noughties. There is a hint of blackcurrant, sweet and cordial-like. Orange blossom adds predictable fruit-tinged floral sweetness. As it develops, dewy, fresh rose becomes evident, becoming increasingly powdery as it develops. It is sweetened by the vanilla note in the base. A nice amber accord develops, sweetly balsamic and blending beautifully with the other notes. It becomes woody and musky as it fades. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. Pleasant and good quality, Possibilities is a well-composed transeasonal feminine scent, ideal for everyday use. Far from unique, but a good scent regardless. 3.5/5.

Hmm..I'm in love..haha,firstly I just want to have possibilities in my collection because I consider it as a viral perfume and I kinda like the notes. So I blind bought it with thought it cannot be bad,and it absolutely beautiful. Pink Pepper just in the opening,so I'm not considered it as spicy.Also the woody notes is not prominent ,it's just there to make this perfume have an anchor to skin.what I got on me is burst of pink pepper for 5minutes then blackcurrant, airy rose without sour note, soft Orange blossom ,and soft freesia mixture. It also have some musky underneath, maybe the cashmere wood mixed with vanilla that reminds me some kind of musky scent.If you cut patchouli from chanel les eaux paris paris,and tone down the musk in ex nihilo narcotic flower. Then mixing them together, I think it's 90 percent same as possibilities. But whatever it is possibilities deserve the hype, absolutely.

The opening of this perfume is exactly the same as the discontinued “Lanvin - Marry Me!”. Or at least that’s exactly how I remember it in my head. I used to wear this perfume back in my uni days. The incredibly rich sweet floral (with white flowers and rose), with citrus notes on the background which make it really fun and interesting. This is what happiness smells like to me. After maybe an hour, the citrus notes disappear and just slight hints of wood start to shine here and there. It lasts for a few hours, but after the first hour, it stays close to the skin and it’s not detectable by others (unless you ask them to invade your personal space :D )

Fun and hedonism of a bygone time. This fragrance is huge without resorting to synthetic wood or oud. A floral bomb, sweetened by orange blossom but black currant gives it a sharp edge. The secret ingredient of the base is cloves/carnation which remains when everything else has burned off. (Edit: No it's not cloves but the akigalawood I think, same kind of dentist's office fragrance anyway.) Possibilities requires big hair and a full face of makeup. This is not a fragrance for hanging out at home in your ratty tee shirt.

I actually like it, but I find it a bit overwhelming too. I definitely find it a nighttime scent - it is rich, there a lot going on, but I don't think it is heavy, but very rich. I have a sample of it, and I don't think I'm going to buy it, as I wouldn't have enough occasion to wear this one specifically. My husband hates it though! He think it smells like old lady, and that he can't escape it today, as I'm wearing it.

I got bamboozled lol jk but did end up blind buying this after hearing all the hype and at the time it was being sold out everywhere so when I finally saw it i bought it immediately without ever smelling it. It’s not a bad fragrance but in my ever so humble opinion it’s too black Pepperie very rosy and too powdery and it’s still going strong hours later. I would say try before u buy if u can!

A lovely rosey floral, but not sure it is worth the hype. It’s quite a bright and sweet rose, different to a lot of rose scents I’ve tried that are typically paired with patchouli or richer base notes. The woody aspect is quite subdued also. Definitely on the unique side and I can’t quite compare it to anything else I’ve tried so far, but still not spectacular enough to justify the price.

This is a bit of an elusive, enigmatic fragrance. It's very light but at the same time really long lasting with decent protection. At times I really enjoy it but at other times it feels a bit empty and boring, the equivalent of fizzy water. The scent is not like any other I've tried, so it's unusual.

This is nice. Immediately this fragrance reminded me of Delina which I’m not huge fan of. It’s very floral and powdery and kind of soapy on my skin. It’s rose heavy and the projection is pretty well. This smells very lady like. Not a love for me but a like.

First impression: this is a mixture between Rajasthan by ETro and Lust in paradise by ExNihilo. ( a more luxurious Nívea cream scent with a hint of pepper and peonies ). Beautiful feminine scent but not as sexy as youtubers describe it.

This perfume is seriously captivating! It's definitely floral-forward, but there's a beautiful warmth and spiciness to it that makes it so unique. I get lots of compliments when I wear it - it leaves a lasting impression.

I don’t know why nobody is talking about how this smells like Alien by Mugler. It’s a really nice fragrance but I am not wowed by it.
