I never tried Chloé so I don't care if this little beauty is a dupe! I'm writing thinking of those who know nothing about both fragrances in mind. Cuté has a very good reputation among bloggers/influencers from my country and I, even not usually going with the masses, thought, why not? It's cheap, it has rose, it's not another gourmand - I'm a bit tired of feeling them everywhere - I'm sad and kinda impulsive atm and I want a simple floral for daily use so let's go blind buy it 🙃🤗 I was afraid of the strong alcoholic presence of many cheap perfume brands, even having emptied a small bottle of "In Woman" last year and not having this problem. But I was still expecting something that screams "cheap" and I never got it 😃 Cuté, it was instant love at the first spray. It feels like I'm inside a bathtub full with crushed rose petals, with a hint of green leaves. It's Mena Suvari inside that bathtub in "American Beauty" all over. No sweetness, no conventionally citrusy fresh, just pure fresh red rose with a touch of a comfortable wood, more noticeable when the fragrance tones down to a skin scent. Projects nicely and easily lasts around 6 hours on my skin, on clothes it lasts forever. Very feminine, the kind of femininity that doesn't try hard to impress or make itself known, it just exists naturally and it glows. If you're looking for PURE ROSE, go for it, but run away if you don't like it. This is a huge red rose bouquet for the quiet, romantic souls. Between my other lovely, more expensive designer fragrances I easily choose this as my signature.

I'm very pleased with this perfume, as I wanted a nice rose scent that didn't break the bank for spring. I love chloe fragrances, but as you all know, can be a bit pricey. I went on a limb and purchased this one from La Rive and they are a really decent perfume house! I own two other fragrances from them, and I have to say that it's really good quality for such an affordable price. Cute is just as the name implies, it's a cute fragrance. I wouldn't call it gorgeous or beautiful, but it's cute and pretty and feminine. The cedar in this fragrance isn't half bad, but it is a bit screechy in the opening. After about 5 minutes, this scent is nice and Rosey with a fresh edge. Edit: I'm starting to fall more and more in love with this perfume! It's unbelievably good. The more I wear it, the more gorgeous it becomes. I'm so into roses, and this is a rose done right!

When I first sprayed it, I thought.. "Oh no!! Its horrible!" I got smacked with a strong alcoholic scent which does not resemble Chloe at all. After a couple of minutes, it has died down and the scent starts to take form. And it does remind me of Chloe - a memory long ago. Its been awhile since I had her. It is fresh rose, very soapy with woody undertones. It is sheer so you will have to respray many times to get the potency you desire. I find that with La Rive fragrances, I have to layer them at least 2-3 times to get the scent to really come out. Otherwise it is very light. But for the price I paid, I dont mind overspraying again and again. It also makes for some fun layering with other fragrances.

I put this perfume on this morning, and the scent was gone long before the end of my work day. I'm not impressed with the lasting power (weak) or the sillage (soft), but I only paid $5 for it so I suppose I can't complain... much. I agree with the other reviewers that the fragrance smells a bit synthetic upon first spray but the dry down is nice and it took on a soapy quality on my skin after a while. If you enjoy this fragrance you might want to take a decant with you to reapply midday. Update: This fragrance performs much better in hot weather. Update 2: I bought Chloe and gave this away. Chloe performs better. Also, the scent was very very similar to the real Chloe.

I never ever condescens even to sniff La Rives perfumes - but that was until yesterday - and l came home with this little ting! To my surprise it was in fact very "cute", I'm always looking for the litchi and freesia, and peony, and it's a lot of it in this bottle, and the drydown is absolutely wondeful, and l think it is because of the soft cedar- and sandalwood. The only negativ thing about this perfume is the sour vibe in the opening, and the utterly ugly and boring bottle, the bottle should look more like it's contains and very nice name! PS: This perfume also reminds me of Ma Vie of Hugo Boss.

When I was a little girl I had a small sample of Chloé edp that I carried around all the time and I looveeed it. I wanted to smell it again but I thought Chloé was a bit too expensive so when I came across Cute I got all excited and I bought it immediately. I must say it does not disappoint! It's obviously been like 5 years since I've smelled the original, but this dupe is very close to what I remember and it makes me so nostalgic! I think it's a little fruitier, but it's so nice! Probably my favorite rose fragrance I have ever smelled. Edit: it smells like a mix of Mon Paris Floral and Chloé!

I've got a sample the other day and decided to give it a go, and I really loved it. It smelled so delicious on my skin, floral, airy but not heavy. I've got a decant of Chloe and when I compared these two, both are not the same in my opinion. Chloe is more heavier, with thick Rose top notes, I feel almost dizzy with the Chloe. But not with this Cute. I want to get myself a bottle of this Cute because it smells soo good, so feminine, I can put it on after my bath and just sniff it all night before go to bed. That is how I really love Cute!

This literally smell’s exactly like the Chloé perfume. It lasts amazing. I sprayed it on my hoodie, and I could still smell it on there after 3 days. It lasts so long, and 4 sprays will make people smell you, especially if they’re next to you. I would say if a person could smell you from like at least more than an arm length away. Overall amazing for the price. This smells Rosey, musky, sharp. It smells like a rich, clean, fresh aunt that everyone just loves.

Thank you to sj.1996 for posting the actual notes from La Rive’s website: Top: peony, freesia, lychee Middle: rose, lily of the valley, magnolia Base: cedarwood, amber, sandalwood I wondered why I was smelling lily of the valley so strongly when it wasn't mentioned in the Fragrantica description! Also, I didn't smell Yuzu - because it is lychee instead! IMO this will be a nice spring/summer scent. It's too cold in the Midwest to wear it right now.

I'm very pleased with this fragrance, it reminds me a little bit of Chloe but it's not exactly a dupe. For me it's a way sweeter and better version of it and therefore I prefer this one over Chloe. It has a good lasting power, I can still smell it on my wrist after six hours. It is a sweet, cute, romantic, fine and put together fragrance which is appropriate for pretty much everyday (office/work/school/date etc.).

I've tried Chloe and not been impressed with it. This, however, strikes a slightly different note, and the harshness of the original is gone. I'm not even usually a fan of rose, but this has both a balanced sweetness and earthiness to it that keep it interesting. Also very long-lasting.

I have both Chloe & Cute and I find them to be very similar. Chloe is more complex and Cute is a bit harsh in the beginning, but eventually Cute settles down and smells very nice on my skin. The sillage is not as good as Chloe, but it's decent. For 10 dollars, it's a great buy.

La Rive perfumes really surprise me! For me it’s identical to Chloé EDP. People will compliment you on this perfume. I spray it a little more to make it last longer. When I use it up, I will buy it again. What a bargain. Thanks La Rive! :)

I bought this for my teenage daughter. She loves it, and me and the wife thinks it smells very nice on her. Very fresh, a real spring/summer fragrance

With the iris, honeysuckle, and musk notes listed, I was expecting something powdery and soapy, but I do not get that with this fragrance. Mostly what I get is rose, and a screaming rose at that. With the cedar being the most prominent note in the base, sometimes this smells like rose scented bug spray, or rose geranium oil. Not what I expected, and yet I do really like this. It is one of my fragrances that tends to get stronger as it dries down, and I can often smells this on my skin the next day if I don't wash it off first. On clothes, the longevity is incredible. This is so strong at times that I would worry about wearing it in public. I would not call this a safe blind buy, unless you love rose and would like to smell it for hours and hours. This is my go-to scent for spring when I will be at home and not worried about offending others with my fragrance.

I bought this perfume to experience a Chloe like scent. I had to layer it twice to get the strength I wanted. This is a soft pink powdery laundry soap scent. I can see why this scent is a favorite and very addictive. I like it enough to keep in my collection along with jlo glow that smells like a pink dove bar : ) I also know that I don't need to break the bank to buy Chloe. La rive Cute fills the scent profile I was looking for perfectly Update: after my initial wear a put the bottle away for a month and wow did it get stronger... I notice that with all the la rive perfumes, they need time to settle after shipment. The performance is a good 8 hours now and longer on clothes. It still has a heady rose but also a deeper luminous scent mixed in. I don't have anything like this in my collection. I am consistently surprised and impressed by house of La Rive.

La Rive Cuté is a very nice fragrance, in my opinion at least: you can smell the woody tones very well, the florals and the lychee are less noticeable, but there's a feminine undertone to the scent nonetheless. Personally I'm not a huge fan of woody scents, but this perfume had such a charming antique and vintage vibe. It's also very "signature scent"-ish: you can wear it in all four seasons, and it's great as a day and night perfume. It also lasts long enough. If I had a young daughter who was in school, or colleagues who were into perfumes, I'd certainly recommend this one for them, because it's particularly ideal as an everyday work/school scent.

It smells really fresh and kind of bitter because of the litchi. Its perfect for spring and summer. You have to like freesia and peonies because these are very present. Its like a bouquet of flowers with a little bitterness from the litchi. Its versatile and femenine, kind of elegant and perfect for the office. Its innocent in a way but not childish. It blandes sweetness and bitterness very good. I dont know if this is a dupe from Clhoe perfum but its worth to try it. La Rive perfumes are very cheap. The projection sucks a little bit, so i will recommend to over spray it and spray it on clothes.

It’s a fruity rose, accompanied by peony and a little bit of aromatic wood. I generally don’t like rose, as it tends to sicken me; it becomes overwhelming. This is pleasant though. The rose is playing along nicely with the rest of the notes, which somehow take the edge/heaviness off it. It smells like modern day Chloe to me, reminiscent anyway, but I have never personally worn Chloe. I’ve only experienced it second hand. This along with River of Love (Angel dupe) are the best La Rive perfumes I have. You have to take it for what it is: a cheap dupe. And for that it’s a decent one.

I prefer how the Chloé signature EDP smells upon first spray, but after the top notes evaporate, Chloé and Cuté smell extremely similar. At 22 AED for 30 ml, it’s a much better option than a free sample if you’re on the fence about this scent. Its longevity is moderate; it’s somewhat faint after 6 hours, and that’s when I like to reapply it. The sillage is moderate too, and the fresh, floral scent is inoffensive, making it perfect for the office.

I purchased this only because people said it smelled like Chloé which I have & absolutely love. Yes, they smell almost exactly alike however it doesn’t have the best lasting power. It does project very well, but on me, after about an hour, I can barely smell it. Because it’s so cheap, I’d say it’s a nice everyday home scent or running errands scent. Or even to keep in your car for emergency. Siliage: 3/5 Lasting: 2/5

It's fresh but at the same time sweet scent, very nice. It's good that it's not only floral scent, there is some fruit too, but there should be a little bit more fruit. Rose is dominant, it's suitable for spring and summer, but can be used also during winter and autumn. Not artificial at all, I'm glad that I bought this. Longevity and sillage are between moderate and long lasting/strong.

I have Chloe by Chloe and was looking for alternative, because my husband just isn’t in to Chloe he thinks is too strong. I’m happy with Cute, it’s almost identical, not as strong and don’t last as long but I still get 4 hours on my skin. I think I wouldn’t repurchase Chloe, Cute does all the work and satisfy my rose cravings.

Great dupe for Chloè! I am not a big fan of the original, but i like this one. It starts fresh and uplifting, then i get that characteristic Chloè powder and then a softly sweet drydown. It’s feminine and pleasant. Chloè fans won’t be disappointed. Final note: 6,5/10

My aunt gave this to me and the best way i can describe this scent is: vintage. I do not wear this as much anymore tbh, but it is very nostalgic to me. Very woody i would say.

Really spot on as chloe dupe minus the powderiness which I find makes this one a little dry. I love it nonetheless and really a snatch for the price!

This is such a fine, delicate, romantic and sexy perfume! Soft, but present, reminds me strongly on Chloe. I smell roses in it. Love it!

La Rive’s website has them as: Top: peony, freesia, lychee Middle: rose, lily of the valley, magnolia Base: cedarwood, amber, sandalwood Cute is part of their "Medium" line of perfumes As far as I can tell the notes are very similar (if not identical) to the Chloe EDP it’s supposed to be a dupe for (but I’ve never smelled the Chloe so can’t weigh in on how much they are, or aren't, alike in scent). I bought Cute because I like roses but that’s all I smell, just a weak, generic smelling rose, and that was disappointing. There are simply too many rose perfumes out there to make this one stand out (and I am saying that with a limited perfume knowledge). The first time I used it, it faded so fast on my skin that I could see where I sprayed it on my wrist but couldn’t smell it unless my nose was touching. It didn’t last much longer on my clothing; I couldn’t distinguish between the perfume and the smell of dryer sheet. I did think maybe I didn’t use enough so the next time I tried Cute, I was much more liberal with the spraying but wasn’t any more impressed with the performance. It lasted slightly longer but still came across to me as a generic smell, and my husband couldn’t even tell I was wearing it until he was right next to me (that has not been the case with all La Rives). Out of the 19 I bought, this is not one of the better La Rives to me. I didn’t pay much for it so Cute was a cheap gamble, but I wouldn’t buy it again. As a “test drive” of Chloe, I probably wouldn’t buy it either... although reviews here vary on how similar they are. 4/10

I don't think I ever tried Chloé on my skin, but I smell it on others quite often and went through a bottle of Yves Rocher Moment de Bonheur, which is often mentioned as very similar to Chloé. So I am very familiar with the general scent profile, but I can't say if La Rive Cuté is an exact dupe or not. Compared to MdB I agree Cuté is less sweet. Anyways, I got a decant of this when I bought a perfume from someone. I mostly use it in the evening when I want to refresh myself before I go to bed, just a spritz on my pajamas. It would also make a good spring or summer perfume. For some reason I like it better on clothes than on the skin though. It's a very fresh, slightly fruity rose. It's clean and cool, but there is nothing soapy or powdery here. A modern dewy rose, not an old fashioned one. I also get something sharp and peppery in the beginning that I actually like. To me this is no must-have, but if you generally like fresh rose scents, you can't go wrong with it. It's only a few Euro and I don't think it smells cheap.

I really like how this smells like a fairy kind of scent; it's fresh and very light — but the fixation and projection do not come along. It's a great day-a-day perfume to wear to go to work, school, university, simple places but it isn't very remarkable although it smells really good. It will probably evaporate quickly, the top notes are the strongest and leaves us with the weak bottom notes for the rest of the time. Still, I always have a reservation of this one for a quick time out. I think if they upgraded to fix the fixation maybe even the projection would be a little better.

I bought it today, cuz one of my coworker had the small version and i sprayed it on my clothes. It did smell good and lasted for the whole day so i decided to buy it and i regret if now. It did smell good on clothes but on my skin it stinks. The only smell i can sense is the sourly scent of the amber and the synthetic smell. I smell like a plastic doll

I bought this online based on the price and dupe of Chloe. And I’m a bit disappointed with Cute, it’s not what I expected. Harsh smell and even when it dried down it gave me a headache after sniffing it . Chloe is one of the fragrances in my wish list even I never smelled Chloe before. I will try it one day and I probably won’t buy Chloe if they smell similar

I really tried hard to like this one, but this just grosses me the f out idk why. Only thing I will say is it is a good value if you like the smell. The bottle is cheap and this has great sillage and lasts quite a while surprisingly, at least 5 hours minimum.

If you want an affordable but much better quality dupe of Chloe, I recommend Apothecary Wild Rose by Korres. I have them both. Cute is cheap smelling when you compare it to Chloe and Apothecary Wild Rose.

Smells synthetic to my nose. I smell that this is actually a cheapie. The original smells more refined and had depth. This one is lineair, weak and nauseating 4/10

Sooo similar to Chloe. Too bad it's a completely flat scent. Very harsh in opening and, since it absolutely does not morph, it remains harsh throughout the day.

I ended up giving this away. Also, I finally did smell Chloe at a store, and to me these 2 are extremely similar to where I couldn't tell the difference.

I'm a total beginner at fragrances. Thought I should start with something cheap. Ordered 5 La Rive perfumes and totally regretted it, such a waste of money. I only became interested in wearing perfume a few months ago, when I realized it doesn't have to be a torture (was always sensitive to perfume, most just induce nausea). So I read some reviews on here, and most were positive, which influenced my decision to buy five bottles of this synthetic hell.

This does not smell like Chloe at all. The only thing they have in common is the rose top note. But that doesn't make Cute a dupe, it's just a scent that smells of roses, big deal. If you're looking for a dupe, you will be disappointed. If you're looking to try a new fresh kinda sharp rose perfume, sure, why not. It does have a Chance vibe, like one reviewer said below. Lasting power is very good for the price, I washed it off after 5 hours because I couldn't stand it anymore, but the scent was still there. But it does smell a bit cheap, its ingredients are too synthetic smelling, and that's another reason why this isn't a dupe. It doesn't have that 'expensive' perfume notes. I would save up for the real thing.

This does resemble Chloe edp, but not exactly the same, La Rive is a sweeter version of Chloe while Chloe is more airy, light but stronger in projection. i have high expectation for La Rive Cute seeing the all the good review it has but sadly it doesnt last longer than 1 hour on my skin with very weak projection. 10 minutes after i spray it i can hardly smell it n have to put my nose next to my skin to be able to smell it. It stays like that before poofff the scent is gone. chloe projects stronger, and last longer on me. And i'd still prefer my chloe ever this. However considering its price then compare it to chloe all my complain would probably sounds too much to ask

I've never smelled Chloe, so I can't tell about the dupe thing. I blindbought this based on reviews of both this and Chloe, though, as I was on the hunt for something soft, powdery and flowery for everyday daytime were. Wearing it first time now, I like it a lot and I think it fits the bill on what I was looking for. It's soft and nice but not too subtle at all. There's dry woodiness and coolness I like. On me it seems to have OK sillage, not sure about the lasting power yet. I sure couldn't tell it's a cheap perfume! Makes me want to try other La Rive scents too. Edit: I've since had a chance to sample Chloe edp and they are very similar.

A rather green, floral and rather nice scent, but not so much rose. Not lasting at all, gone in 2-3 hours. My partner likes Chloe but I don't really, so I thought this would be a good alternative. I had hoped the rose would be more prominent. A good stay-home scent. Update: Applied this on freshly showered skin. First, the greenish notes. Then, fades to skin scent. Now, about 15-30minutes later, the sweet rose notes are emerging. Still not as rosy as the 2003 Evelyn Rose, which is my dream scent. Keeping this as a rose alternative as my hunt continues.

la rive is launching quite good dupes in general. Chloè edp is one of my boyfriends favorites but i prefer to try and use different and new perfumes and didnt want to buy the original for 10x price, only to have this in my current collection, so went to see what are the dupes on the market for like 6$, this and another one J.Fenzi: Charme were the best copies. Charme i already used before with a bottle and was happy with it. got a lot of compliments always, but now i wanted to try this one because la rive never disappoints me

I have chloe and absolutely love it,.... Cute is a pretty close dupe to chloe, except upon first spray Cute is more harsh and smell little bit synthetic, but is still make a pretty good dupe If you're looking something light that you can wear before before bed this would make a good one due to poor sillage and longevity cause after few minutes of spraying it becomes really soft

A decent dupe for its price. Surprisingly long-lasting, moderate sillage if you spray generously. It has the same issue as all La Rive perfumes: when first sprayed, it's awfully synthetic and alcoholic. In 10-15 min, it settles down on the skin and becomes much better.

To me, it is more cooler and watery, and less powdery than Chloe edp. A little more raw, a little less delicate. Also, less refined. The rose feels more pronounced. It has more of a Chanel Chance Tendre vibe (without sharing the notes, really). Longevity is fine.
