Just tracked this down online and it's the Libre KO I've been looking for. I have a small purse spray and mini bottle of Libre because I love it but I'm on a fixed income--this was plenty cheap, and unlike LR's Moon wears pretty well on my skin. Reviews here say they can't smell the lavender, but that is the single strongest note in this on me--my skin has an adversarial relationship with lavender as it tends to get cat-pissy on me--but it works in Libre and also in this scent. I have B&BW's Fairytale and I like the orange blossom and wish they hadn't poured pomegranate juice all over it-- but that's their MO and it has NO lavender at all so I don't get the comparison with Libre at all!! I will spray this lavishly all over and save my Libre for a few pulse points and let it go at that!

I don't know YSL Libre, so I can't say anything about the similarity in this case. For myself, I was strongly reminded of Mon Guerlain Intense. Vanilla/Musc and Lavender/Honey are strong in Destinee. Longevity is pretty weak, but I bought 90ml for 5 Euro, so nothing to complain about here, really.

It's amazing! Definitely a good YSL Libre dupe! Very floral spicy! My husband sprayed it in the air and walked into it and I could still smell it on his skin a couple hours afterwards! Definitely a good perfume for the price

The best YSL Libre dupe I tried. It doesn’t lasts longer then 2 hours but considering I paid 7 eur for the bottle I am fine with that. It generally stays longer on fabric then skin, but again, amazing dupe for Libre.

I bought this last year and never had a chance to actually wear it. I think because the the first spray kind of put me off. It's quite synthetic and I got a kind of marshmallow and strong alcohol note. Very strange. I put it aside to eventually get rid of it. This morning while looking through perfumes I had put aside to retry, I found this one again and sprayed it on my skin. Eww, those top notes! However, I've waited and the middle and drydown are really lovely. I get the lavender but it's very discreet. I get more of a sweet musky scent on my skin.It's actually eventually very lovely on the skin and quite subtle. It gets better when it reaches the middle notes and I get vanilla and musk in the drydown. I don't know what YSL Libre smells like so I can't compare. Edit: I have now tried YSL LIbre and this one is definitely a dupe!

For context, I never smelled any of the YSL Libres, so I am not able to comment on its similarity. The reviews for Destinée were so intriguing and the price point is so low, I figured it was worth a try. And it really is! I had gone through two bottles of Coco Mademoiselle some years back and I guess Destinée has that same vibe for me. Not the same scent, mind you, but easy to grab, pleasant. I don’t get any lavender, however, but I get the white floral, a little crisp fruitiness and a little warmth. First I only liked it, then I thought it was cloying, now I like it again. It has a sparkle and great sillage. It’s not ever going to be a top grab for me, but it’s easy for so many occasions and it performs remarkably well for the cost.

A great Libre dupe. Of course not identical, the lavender note in Destinée is not as sharp and the notes have a sweeter and more synthetic scent, still it smells very pleasant. I think this is like an office/work friendly version of Libre, because the projection is very intimate and not so big and invasive as the original, and also because the lavender note is softer. It's a scent that won't bother anyone. Longevity is short, between 1 and 3 hours, but hey, for such a cheap price, it's not fair to complain about it! Just re-spray it a couple times through the day and it'll be fine. Also a good scent to spray on your pillow and blanket before bed and going to sleep in a relaxing lavender-vanilla bubble ♥️

I bought the 30ml bottle of Destinee because I read here that it is similar to Libre and was curious. What I like is that it's floral but not overly sweet, which makes it more interesting than the majority of La Rive scents I've tried so far. It does have something sour in the opening and this sourness is more prominent when sprayed on fabric. But overall it's a nice, fresh, interesting scent that smells very good, especially after the drydown, and the scent has a very decent longevity. And you can't beat the price.

How can Destinée be a Libre dupe with a creation date of 2000? ILikeSmellingNice asked the same question over a year ago. Well? Lovely blend that is bright, creamy, and soothing. Such a value at 7 bucks for 100ml. New bottle, made in Poland of course. I used to think the Arab houses were showing us how overpriced the market is but there are some French brands and this Polish one that get the job done very well for under 10 euros.

I have the original, and this. They are both great! I like this one for casual use. It gives you the feel without the price and you can save the more expensive one for more special nights! It’s such an expensive smelling fragrance for the price! It gives you a very similar experience but like most La rive fragrances, the longevity is lacking. You just have to keep a decant in your bag and you’re all good!!

I think I smell the lavender, vanilla and maybe petitgrain most. Mainly I came here to say, it last a LONG time. I sprayed one spray to the back of my hand and touched it to my other hand. I came home, have wahedmy hands twice, and it's still there pretty strong.

Original Libre with more liberal vanilla cream and orange flower. Tapers off into a clean slightly vanillic musk. I get around 3.5 hrs on the skin with this, definitely needs to be reapplied. Best for warm weather.

I just bought it because i heard so much praises for this perfume.. but tbh, i dont see it. (Will update the review (if possible) after i let the perfume macerate) Edit: the scent grows on me, i started to like it

Me lembrou bastante o Libre, apesar das devidas proporções. Uma durabilidade menor, uma suavidade menos clássica e um cheiro de álcool mais presente no início. Valeu a pena pelo custo.

Smells 90% like Libre EDT and 95% like B&BW Fairytale. It lasts a lot longer than other La Rive fragrances I’ve tried but you have to over spray it.

I've had this perfume less than an hour, which is far less than I've given the other La Rive's before formulating some thoughts but here they are: La Rive puts this one in their "Premium" lines of perfumes but I'm not getting premium performance out of it. I have a sample of YSL Libre so I can say with some confidence they do smell alike, and the notes are nearly identical so based on that, it's a good perfume. Libre is expensive, Destinee is not, it *might* have been an adequate substitute if it just had a little more projection but for me it went from, "This is nice" to "Where'd you go?" in ten minutes, still there but not one where I will catch a whiff of myself. Strangely, it is lingering longer on my skin than it has on my clothes. My husband's reaction was underwhelming too- "It's ok, different, a little floral" which was not how he felt about the YSL Libre sample. The price is right, the scent is a reasonably good copy but I wouldn't buy it again. 6/10 Edit: Having purchased YSL Libre since, I have to add two things: I think La Rive nailed the scent itself but of course not the quality. Destinee is a pale imitation of Libre- Destinee, gone too quick. Libre, in the air around me every time I move for hours and hours.

When I wore this, all I got was the orange blossom, and maybe a hint of the jasmine. I did not get nearly enough lavender for my taste, and couldn't smell the fruity top notes at all. So I gave it to my son, who is 6 and loves to wear my cast offs to bed. He is obsessed with this scent, and doesn't wear anything else. I don't get people talking about longevity issues, as he will spray once, maybe twice, and I will still be able to smell it when I get him ready for school in the morning. I just realized what this reminds me of - the bedtime scent of baby shampoo. I never really thought that smelled like lavender either. For me, this was too sweet, but a love for my 6 year old.

if u want the ysl libre intense perfume with a slight note or dna of the le perfume version,get this-but it only lasts around an hour and a half on the skin and doesn’t make a scent bubble or leaves a big scent trail,so be prepared to reapply every hour and overspray the perfume if u want it to lasts 2+ hours and create a scent trail!!

An easy-reach daily perfume. It is a nice enough bottle to have although i find that it lacks personality. It’s almost like La Rive perfumes hit the breaks before they even reach the peak, like there’s this one last element missing to make it truly phenomenal. But for the price, I’m not complaning. 😅

Fresh and a little spicy. Very inoffensive, smells like a professional woman. Office friendly maybe. Maybe a bit too perfume-y. Quite musky too. Personally this is not to my taste but I can see it having broad appeal. Would work for almost any season or occasion.

Destinée La Rive has the most obvious white floral scent followed by warm sweetness from vanilla and musk. Notes of lavender are not really clear

I absolutely love YSL Libre and BBW Fairytale, so I wanted to try other dupes as well. While Fairytale is not an exact 100% dupe to Libre (in my opinion), it has a beautiful playful character of its own that I really enjoy. However, Destinée to me was a big dissapointment. I bought it online and had to return as soon as I smelled it. It had a very synthetic undertone that I did not enjoy and lacked Libre's sophistication. To me Destinée is just not a good scent on its own, I know I am going to smell that synthetic fruity note even if I top it with other fragrances. Edit: I finally got my hands on Zara Golden Decade and I am blown away. Highly recommend to anyone, who, like me, is looking for a Libre dupe. It is in the same price range with Destinée (at least in Korea), but smells way more sophisticated and closer to the YSL original

I have both ysl libre and this one, and honestly I prefer this way more. I don’t really get the hype over the libre. To me it is just too strong on the lavender note. Not a perfume I would reach for - ever. I actually bought this first to see I if I would like libre, and I obviously loved this hence the reason for buying the real deal. Which I totally regret. This is just way better in my opinion. I actually love wearing it. The lavender note is way toned down and it’s just a beautiful scent that makes me feel very pretty. The longevity is obviously so so, but I much rather reapply after some hours. Considering the price though, the longevity isn’t that bad at all. I have some very expensive niche perfumes that lasts a about the same. So, if you are like me who just feel the lavender note is too strong, this would totally be a love. Also, it’s a compliment getter, obviously. People do love libre and they are basically the same - but this one is toned down and dare I say, a tad more sophisticated.

A incredibly good dupe for Libre. I have smelt the two side by side and to my nose they're about 90-95 percent the same. Destinee is a bit sweeter to me, whereas Libre leans a tad bit more soapy with lavender to me. Destinee is a great everyday clean but sweet fragrance that i keep reaching for. Great for, in my opinion, all seasons and occasions. Amazing versatile easy reach. There is definitely a difference when it comes to longevity and projection tho. Libre has a noticeably greater sillage and longevity. Destinee will stay around for about 3 hours max, whereas Libre will stay a couple hours more than that. All in all i won't be purchasing Libre because Destinee is a close enough clone for me and considering that i got a 90 ml bottle of it for only 9 euros i will just overspray and respray to compensate for the weaker performance.

I like collecting La Rive fragrances because they give me a taste of popular designer scents without investing in a lot of higher priced scents I may not end up liking, and I've discovered many that I continue to wear and enjoy. When I first tried Destinee, it had a bitter note I really disliked, and the bottle sat on my shelf for almost a year before I sprayed it again. I tried it again today because I wanted to remind myself what it was about the Libre DNA that I disliked, and amazingly the bitter note is gone and I really like it. Bottom line, it's not just Middle Eastern scents that need time to rest. It seem to benefit other inexpensive brands as well.

tried the tester on paper and it smelled exquisite, not a huge fan of the original Libre, i prefer the libre intense or libre le parfum, but i tried this dupe anyway to see how close it was to the original. I don't think this is an exact dupe, it kinda reminded me of Prada paradoxe too, luckily i had the reflex to try it on skin before purchasing a full bottle and it smelled very sour, it was awful.

Now that i own a full bottle and tried on my skin i have to say : this is a really nice perfume ! It gives the vibes of British brands like the brit and classic Burberry. I smell kumquat note at the opening and a smooth vanilla musky aroma all the path. I wouldn't say it is a fruity aroma nor flowery either. Its a modern classy vanilla scent with fruity nuances. It reminds me a lot of YSL Manifesto!

On my skin it is mostly lavender and soft vanilla. It stays at least 12 hours on my skin. On the clothes it becomes more masculine line a cologne. Sharp lavender, no vanilla. I love it. Just bought a backup bottle.

Im starting to wonder if this and my only wish were in fact not made in 2000 like it says, seeing as they're dupes of recent perfumes

This is a very good dupe for Libre, just less expensive smelling and a bit sweeter. Great value for the money.

If this was released in 2000, does it means YSL copied this and made Libre in 2019????
