Eternal Kiss

Slightly lighter more airy version of Scandal. I don't feel it goes as deep into the base as Scandal with the heavy beeswax but the honey is very potent in this. The La Rive brand is hit or miss but there are a few from the line that I really love and think are outstanding. If I had to pick one that tops them all it'd be Eternal Kiss. It's strong and super long lasting. On me it's a beast mode fragrance which is surprising considering the brand/price. Highly recommend. 9.5/10 rating

Unsure if this is a dupe for another fragrance. The moment I smelled it, I loved it! An exquisite date night perfume. I’ve gotten so many compliments when I wear this. I love the sweetness of it, it does make me feel like I’ve been dipped in honey myself. I don’t smell the licorice, and I’m very glad about that cause I HATE licorice. Unfortunately the longevity is not that good, so I just take the bottle with me and spritz myself every now and then when I’m out.

This is a absolutely stunningly beautiful perfume. It’s not a dupe, it’s the original and twenty years before Scandal. All you get is Thick sweet HONEY, orangey citrus and some florals, love the Gardenia note. It’s so beautiful and sexy. I recommend getting this Eternia Kiss over Scandal because it’s actually better, it has a cleaner softer side to it and the price is so great. Amazing fragrance...I will need to get a back up bottle. ❤️ 🍯

I sprayed it on my arm last week in a shop and couldn't stop smelling it, bought it today payed roughly about 7 usd. I love it! Very girly and clean smelling, a friend I was studying with stopped mid studying session to compliment how amazing my "hair product" smelled like and he was sitting about a meter away from me I did have to spray it every few hours but for the price? dont mind reapplying. Smells so sexy and sophisticated.

Amazing resemblance to "Scandal" by Jean-Paul Gaultier. I found it quite shocking that "Eternal Kiss", from a Polish brand, was launched in 2000 and "Scandal", in 2017. So who is imitating who? Great longevity on my skin and clothes. I bought this on sale for the equivalent of less than 6 euro, and I am so happy that I saved over 100 euro by not buying the original "Scandal".

Beginning of spray the scent is kind of strong and sharp, but that goes away after about 2 minutes. Then you’re left with a clean soft floral beeswax and honey caramel scent. Longevity is good, about 8-10 hours. I got this because I was looking for a honey perfume and this satisfied my search.

This perfume is just amazing! It is a toned down version of Scandal and after two hours I don't smell honey that much, just caramel, but I don't mind it. Hands down the best La Rive perfume, more people should be talking about this beauty!

I'm quite the fan of Police Shock-In-Scent, which IS a dupe for Scandal and an amazing one at that. But... not always easy to get. I refuse to buy Scandal because, like all 3 fragrances (Eternal Kiss, Shock-In-Scent and Scandal), it is a rather straightforward honey scent on my skin. Lovely, but not worth those designer prices (imho). I had wanted to test a La Rive for ages and for 6,99 I considered a blind buy relatively safe. As with ALL La Rive fragrances ( I know now) and ALL Middle Eastern perfumes travel hurts the notes. You need to spray once, let the fragrance rest for a few weeks and then test for real or you'll get mostly alcohol and a usually unrecognisable or weak scent. La Rives, like wine, get better with age. The first few times Eternal Kiss was between meh and okay and now, several months later, I get a thick, juicy honey-beeswax fragrance with hints of orange blossoms and mandarin. The drydown is a honey-beeswax on a layer of caramel where the orange notes are lost and only the blossom gives a few whiffs before handing over the reign to honey completely. On my skin those stages go really fast - there's basically no seperate opening either - meaning that the last scent is being reached at around the 30min mark - hence my comment on straightforwardness. For such a cheap fragrance Eternal Kiss performs relatively good. My skin eats perfume like nobody's business and even quality designer or niche perfumes can be lost within 3hrs or less. Respraying and layering is a must for me, so I really don't mind that the La Rive expects the same. I keep Eternal Kiss for about 2 to 3 hours, with a decent projection in the beginning. If I layer it with other fragrances it can stay a tad longer. But in winter I a rarely keep anything above the 3hr mark, let alone above 4 or 5. What this means for normal skins, I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is a longlasting perfume on most. I think you can compare it with the performance of an Edp at first and an Edt later on. The very strong alcohol cloud also decreases over time, until it's on normal level with most below €$30,- fragrances, and some above. I prefer to use Eternal Kiss as a layering perfume, particularly with my Rich Warm Addictive Tobacco collection from Zara. Those two are a delightful combination, decreasing the - on my skin - very strong Rum, while also sweetening the Tobacco. As a mix RWA makes its name come true for sure. But there are plenty others that benefit from a honey base (anything with Caramel or vanilla in it also performs better with a layer of EK). But with YSL Libre it is also delicious. (Going more into the Intense direction, but different). On its own Eternal Kiss is certainly nice too. Most will want to wear her in Autumn or Winter because of the sweetness, the gourmand type. But because jasmine, Orangeblossom and three types of fruits are present the season of Spring can be a great recipient for a few sprays of Eternal Kiss. In my experience the flowers and citrus notes become stronger when it is warmer, making it sweet- fresh. But, of course it all depends on your skin. No matter what, if you're a fan of honey fragrances with orange(blossom) in the background Eternal Kiss is definitely a good addition to your collection, particularly if you need to watch your budget. Shock-In-Scent (as well as the most expensive sibling Scandal) is a lot smoother, slightly fuller and longer lasting, but it's also at least thrice the price. I'm now definitely curious what other La Rive fragrances will bring to the table!

this is very nice. i am not sure we can say it is dupe, since it came 17 years before Scandal, according to Fragrantica's database. very good perfume, i am really impressed. smell and performance very very similar to the original Scandal to my nose. i loved the honey note in Scandal but the perfume was too heavy for me, so i bought this one in hopes it may be any kind easier to wear. but it is just so very similar to Scandal. i am not a fan of opening and middle stages, with lots of orange flower, and patchouli in combination with sweet fruits and flowers are not my thing. honey note in drydown is very nice here, just as nice as in Scandal and overall the perfume is very very similar. unfortunately, it takes 1-2 hours for me to wait for that stage that i enjoy, so i will be giving this one to my teenage daughter, if she'd like it for her, she is more into sweet scents. overall very nice perfume for the price, i am really impressed with this brand and happy to see that many of their perfumes are now available here.

For a cheap fragrance this is not weak one bit!! It really fills the room. First spray I wasn’t sure... but it quickly develops when sprayed on my skin, it’s very warm here today, and it is sweet sweet caramel, honey, and patchouli mostly, with some peach and orange in the background. It’s nice, I’m impressed. It is sweet like gourmand to me though... I maybe wish for a little more of the soft spice... I wonder if it will perform differently in different weather. Will test and see :). Never tried scandal so I can’t comment if it’s similar.

For a cheap dupe, this performs surprisingly well. Lovely honey nectar-like sweetness, juicy, ripe and fresh. Ideal for warm days, it doesn't turn sour or rancid. It's a girly, joyful, youthful, and playful scent. I enjoyed a whole package of this in the summer, it is not very strong nor long-lasting, so I apply it generously, and re-apply often. Good for everyday wear, noticeable but not overpowering. La Rive does quite well with the honey-based scents, their Cash is also very good.

Tried this in the store. Starts off as In Flames (their Olympea dupe), citrusy and a little spicy, and ends up as Queen of Life (their La Vie Est Belle dupe), a sweet patchouli. Seemed to last about 4 hours (after 1 spray on arm). I like it, it doesn't smell cheap, but since I have those other 2 perfumes I see no need for it, it doesn't bring anything new.

On clothing - pure honey/beeswax. On my skin - starts off with white florals. Becomes honey over time. Smells delicious. Great for the price imo.

Melzinho que não é ardido e nem enjoativo, as notas de mel conversam bem com o floral e o caramelo traz uma nuance feliz, pelo menos pra mim. Apesar de ser doce, é possível usar ele de dia, contanto que em dias mais amenos. Não lembro como é o cheiro do scandal, já que faz muito tempo que o cheirei, mas tenho a memória das notas conversarem em uma harmonia mais agradável que a do Eternal Kiss. No entanto, a versão La Rive é bem gostosinha e, pelo preço, satisfatória. Projeção e fixação meio fracas.

I can smell mostly honey, heavy florals and some subtle spiciness. A distinct liquorice scent adds a nice, unique flavour to it and the delicate caramel note rounds it all up beautifully. It's a very classy, elegant perfume. Maybe it's not an everyday scent (though it could be if you like heavier, sweeter fragrances) but it's perfect for big occasions or simply for when you want to feel fancy. I like it.

A warm, cozy scent. Cheapie that doesn't smell cheap. Well blended, it does not stand out as a typical, strong white floral/citrus-fruity scent. It's more warm with mild caramel, honey and light, lovely orange blossom/mandarin on top. The honey is not too sweet or overpowering, it's natural and just right. I don't get much licorice. Could easily use this as a casual scent during colder months but it's not a must-have for me as I already have something similar. For the price though, it's a bargain. Projection & longevity on me is moderate. Initially leaves a trail.

This is another La Rive perfume that I bought on a blind buy that I am in love with! It smells so sweet and delicious and I do smell the caramel and honey. I get so many compliments on this one and it is just so yummy. This one really performs and I could smell it on my skin the next day. One of my favorite La Rive perfumes that I would definitely buy again!

It's not my type of scent and yet I somehow like it.. Sweet but not cloying or headache-inducing. It is indeed a Scandal-twin the much I know, but not as long-lasting, it goes for 2-3 hours max. I just loooove how the cap clicks on open-closure! Probably the best number La Rive has ever produced.

Sweet, citrusy and really strong when you first spray. It’s a sensual fragrance for women. A toned down version of Scandal, less floral. Worth trying.

A very sweet scent, identical to Scandal JPG. Good persistence, with heavy-strong smell of honey.

SWEET! CARAMEL! This is fine but it would be better if it actually had the citrus top advertised.
