Hello Beauty

I have both the Ange ou Demon Le Secret by Givenchy and Hello Beauty. They are identical about 90%. The only difference I can perceive is Hello Beauty has more woody notes in it and Le Secret has more lemon notes. I can't really justify buying the Givenchy since they are so similar but I still bought a full bottle of Le Secret anyway since I love this scent profile. But you do not need it if you have Hello Beauty. Longevity of Hello Beauty is good for a freshie, about 4-5 hrs. It's only $12usd. Happy spraying! I really love this. But then I love cold, aquatic freshies. Smells like what rich people would wear. Lol.

La Rive Hello Beauty is, as fellow reviewer sassa7 said, a "green bittersweet," slightly candy-like scent. The black currant & raspberry give it a fruitiness, but it's not heavy -- the peony/water lily + clean laundry musk give it a clean freshness. It doesn't project much or have a big personality, but it persists longer than you'd imagine for a floral-fresh scent -- sticking to my skin even after a shower -- continuing its clean laundry fruity-floral freshness into the farther drydown (like, 5 or so hours later). It's a little generic but definitely nice. I think it has that "pink peony" type scent that things like Calvin Klein Eternity Moment or Elizabeth Arden Pretty have, but I like it more than those other two that just seem too resolutely "clean" (cleanser-y, even). Hello Beauty is an absolute bargain; I think I paid $12. Not sure if I'll keep it (I have a big collection!), but it may just grow on me.

I’ve never smelled “Ange Ou Demon Le Secretm” before so I’m gonna talk about this perfume on its own. The very opening was a burst of floral and I immediately hated it! Then the raspberry, jasmine, black currant and musk came soon after. The musk in this comes off very powdery and it’s like a makeup type of powder. This is fruity, floral and very makeup powdery. It’s just okay, nothing special at all to me.

Hello Beauty is a very light, fresh, red berry and tea fragrance. Very easy to wear and refreshing in the summer. Longevity is about 4 hrs, typical for a freshie. I easily reapply. Great value. It's a perfect "stay at home" inoffensive perfume or an easy grab on a summer day.

If you like this fragrance, try Aldi Hotel Collection 03. Pomegranate. Very similar. For me I find both have a menthol note like Vics vaporub or Halls sore throat drops. Not my thing. Better appreciated from a distance as sillage, best in hot weather since the scent is chilly.

It opens with a very faint raspberry and water lily scent, but the performance is disappointing — I could barely smell it, and it lasted less than an hour. Extremely light overall. Edit: After a year, the fragrance became a bit stronger, but I still don’t enjoy the scent.

A very fresh and sweet fragrance, but not sickly sweet. It is a safe choice for every occasion. I like it very much, but it opens a little bit alcoholic with the first spray. Overall I like it, I just wish it had better projection and longevity.

This is one of my absolute favorite musky perfumes in the Eclat d'Arpege and the Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise family, but truly a sister of Ange Ou demon Le Secret 2014 and a cousin of the Ange ou demon Le secret elixir ( Acqua di Parisis Milano as well) - these are the tea-peony-cedar-jasmine nymphs, the earthy green white floral calming scents with a shy sweet twist. Hello Beauty is very unique as well, of the Ange Ou demon dna , that green bittersweet candy element (must be the black currant/raspberry here) which runs through the whole composition, that I also find ALOT stronger in the Acqua di Parisis Milano perfume which is also a dupe for another Ange Ou demon fragrance, The Le secret elixir version. Hello beauty smells like it contains tea, just like its listed in its closest dupe the Ange ou demon Le Secret. This one by La Rive goes bad in about 2 yrs in the bottle so I bought a new one, Im so in love with it, easily a signature scent. If you like tea and something that lacks Hello Beauty's black currant bittersweet vibe (grapefruit in Ange Ou Demon LE secret) which to me is what makes it so unique, you can also try Omnia Crystalline, contains tea, its calming musky but bamboo makes it greener and more inoffensive.
