Mr. Sharp

O melhor La Rive que peguei. Totalmente o cheiro do Axe chocolate Fui elogiado usando ele , mas tinha acabado de passar, o cheiro é bom e bem agradável, talvez lembre um pouco de WD40 mas não tira a qualidade pois WD40 tem o cheiro bom também 😅. Me parece um perfume mais jovem

La Rive Mr. Sharp is a bit weird. I don't know how close to Bad Boy it is. I instead get a bit of another coffee fragrance, Polo Red. That is, if you remove the cranberry note. Mr. Sharp is based around pepper in the open and an ambery cacao base. That is really it. Mr. Sharp lasts 4 to 5 hours with an hour or so of decent sillage. Mr. Sharp is really a winter scent. For Arizona it is a night scent since Arizona winter can go up to 80°. I can see it working for dates and night work. Mr. Sharp is really good. That said if you own Polo Red, this is redundant. For this I rate Mr. Sharp a 7.5 out of 10.

This is a good cheap fragrance, which is an indirect homage to Axe Dark Temptation (not identical, spicy) but definitely in the same direction. La Rive has quite a few fragrances that mimic Lux designer brands. The quality keeps increasing. Bottles and atomizers are great. Also they are made in European Union and this means greater, higher quality standards. I wish they could release more interpretations of niche scents. Shower gels would be highly appreciated also.

I picked it out and bought this for my husband because I have a sample of the CH Bad Boy EDT so I knew what it's supposed to smell like ahead of time, unlike most of the LRs I've purchased. It's masculine, a little sweet but not overly so and I love it on him- and Mr. Sharp is close if not identical based on the scent alone, doesn't smell as though it is a scaled down, less complex version of the original. The notes indicate they are the same, at least those provided here and on LR's website. Unlike the original though, Mr. Sharp disappears after 5 minutes or so on his skin and doesn't fair much better on his clothing and I'm not sure heavily spraying would make much difference. The La Rives are hit-or-miss, men and women's both, and Mr. Sharp is falling into the miss category for that reason. It smells great for the minutes that it lingers, the price is really good for the size, and it's a nice looking bottle, those are the most positive things I can say. I wouldn't buy it again. 5/10

Never saw or heard of this brand until I looked this one up. Not a lover of the DNA so I spent the fifteen dollars on this and the scent is really nice, sweet chocolate and citrus. With Mr. Sharp you get a minute/dollar which is a problem. The amber tonka base has no strength so after half an hour you need to reapply. What is the point? By the time this dries, it has evaporated. Should have bought myself lunch instead. Edit: 10 months later, I tried this again and was surprised it performed much better. Projected for 30 minutes and lasted on clothes for 4 hours. Still not sure whether to buy the real thing.

A modern-fresh version of Fred Hayman Touch with Love for Men. Both ended with the "stink" of "in-love", a vanity I do not wish to be privy to any time soon. Leave the bottle in office in case I forgot to wear any. Unbeatable value! Basil, basil and basil

Very strong fragrance at first, you can clearly smell the spice notes, the range of fragrance is not too strong. Very cool and cheap perfume.

It smells like a hot chocolate drink... The opening note is a heavy kick of pepper. Sharp and unpleasant, so now you know why it's called "Mr Sharp". This note fades away very quickly, and the fragrance enters the wonderful dance of bergamot and sage. Unfortunately, this dance is quickly interrupted by cocoa. A lot of cocoa. With tonka bean, it smells like drinking hot chocolate. The original scent - Bad Boy by Carolina Herrera - is milder and the bergamot note is longer and more pronounced, which is why I bought the La Rive clone. Unfortunately, the cocoa note I mentioned before dominates, so it's just not my cup of tea. The longevity is above average, but the sillage is close to the skin.

I like the idea of this one along with the notes, and I can definitely detect the key notes of cocoa and amber, though the amber is of a dry nature (and it's definitely not too sweet). The big problem here Is that there is too much white musk used, and that overwhelms the other notes and becomes irritating to me within a couple of hours. I noticed this in other scents that I probably would have really liked if that white musk wasn't present, such as Derby Club Ascot. It certainly is reasonably strong and lasting, so for those who don't have the white musk issue that I do it may be a good blind buy at such low prices.
