As a lover of sweet, fruity and gourmand frags, i have to say this is a hidden jewel! And also as an adult that never got to indulge in these kind of sweet celebrity scents during the teen years and that never tested the original Fantasy. Made no sense for me to purchase the original right now, but curiosity made me wanna try this dupe. I am very satisfied with it! I am not able to detect all the individual fruit notes, but my nose is caressed with the white chocolate note and also the cupcake one. These are very yummy, pleasant and mood-lifting notes and that is all I need from a frag like this. It makes me feel like I'm lying on a fluffy cloud and bathing in the best sweets. I love wearing it around the house to make myself feel cozy. Also, not synthetic for me which is a big plus.

I was just reading reviews and the one below popped up! I also purchased 3 bottles because this is the exact dupe for Britney Spears Fantasy PRE FORMULATION! Very yummy but lasts only a few hours!

Pure perfection. Proof that expensive doesn't mean perfect. True discovery. I am very happy and surprised by this in every way. A true gourmand perfume, hugging you and loving you. 😍

I’d say since Fantasy is now a flat diluted juice, everyone needs this one? Not cheaper. Better.

I was kind of excited to find a fragrance that was close to the original formula of Britney Spears Fantasy. I have the reformulated Fantasy and I was so disappointed. Keep in mind that I have never smelled the original formula. I got faint fruit smells of kiwi and perhaps something slightly sweet like sugar. No cake or white chocolate notes at all. However, I noticed that if I layered D&G Light Blue on Fantasy, it brought out the cake smell a bit and smelled a bit like a lemon cupcake. Onto Secret Dream: the opening was quite similar to Fantasy. I smelled the kiwi and litchi. I did smell more fruits which made it smell a bit more well-rounded but I couldn't pick out any specific notes. Then it faded into the same vague sort of sweetness that I could smell if I jammed my face against my shirt/skin. Again, I felt let down. Then, I got into the car for a drive. The car was warm from sitting in the sun and the white chocolate just BLOOMED. It was so amazing. Waves of gorgeous white chocolate cupcake along with delicate flowers just kept coming at me driving down the road. It is late winter/early spring here with mild temps. I think this fragrance needs the warmth to really come to life. I didn't notice this fragrance lasting too long. I sprayed 4 hours ago and I still get whiffs of something pleasant and sweet, but it no longer smells as strong. If someone were very close, they would probably say I just "smell nice" and wouldn't necessarily say, "You smell like a cupcake." I do think it leans more skin scent after a couple hours, which I do not mind. I'm going to try Fantasy in some heat, too, to see if I have the same effect. Bottom-line: this perfume isn't groundbreaking, but I could definitely see myself buying another bottle if mine gets used up. The middle notes when they bloomed were just heavenly. I would wear this perfume knowing it isn't a beast in longevity and silage knowing as long as I know I'm going to hit those notes. I think it's kind of worth it.

I can't believe this cost 6 euros!!! Unbelievable! It's truly like the other commenters say-like a hug. On my skin, it smells like warm creamy vanilla and white chocolate. I don't smell much fruit, a hint of florals and wood are there for sure, but it's overwhelmingly creamy. Like a warm blankety hug, it's so perfect for winter. On clothes, the dry down lasts forever-the lingering warm scent reminds me of amber romance body spray from Victoria’s Secret. But beware, I oversprayed once and it was quite suffocating when indoors.

This is like a fruit filled cupcake floral mashup of fantasy, safe blind buy if you love the OG fantasy DNA. update 3/5/24: After letting it sit for a couple months - coming back to this..YESSSS it truly is a modern take on a y2k classic, I actually prefer this over the OG now.

This is really sweet. If you like sweet, you’ll love this. You get sweet fruits in the opening and the gourmand sweet of the white chocolate and the... muffin? It’s an over abundance of a high tea fruit and dessert table. It does have the heart of a Britney fragrance.

As a gourmand lover, I was drawn to this because of the cupcake and white chocolate notes. I considered Fantasy, but decided to go with this one after seeing the reviews below that Fantasy was reformulated to be fruitier. Unfortunately, I don’t really smell the chocolate or cupcake, but it is definitely creamy, sweet and fruity. Tropical feeling, but almost seems too juvenile for me? Like, I wonder if I smelled someone in middle school wear this, (wouldn’t doubt if it was the original Fantasy, as this is supposed to be a dupe?) I don’t think this is the case for everyone of course, I just don’t care for how it smells on me. I’m not very good at differentiating the fruits, so I’m not quite sure what fruits I’m smelling, aside from it being a creamy soft tropical cocktail. Maybe the melon and kiwi? It isn’t really my kind of tropical fragrance, I think I prefer a more fruity or floral tropical, or coconut, over the added confectionary notes. Just doesn’t seem to sit right in my nose. That being said, I think it is youthful, soft and subtly bright, like the sunlight peeking through fruit trees on a breezy warm day, driving past the beach.

I just learned about LA Rive within the last year and BS Fantasy was among my first scents as a teen so because I was so impressed with my other LR perfumes I really wanted to try this. Does it smell like Fantasy? Yes. For the first minute or so after you spray it, then it is more like a light scent reminiscent of Fantasy. It is sweet, fruity and girly and I will definitely use it to layer with other scents. This would be a awesome option for a tween/teen just getting into frags! A fraction of the price of the 'real' one and any sweets lover would enjoy it plus, it's non offensive so literally perfect for younger frag lovers!

This can be layerd with Britney Spears fantasy. Eau de cologne strength but well worth the money. I hope La Rive csn focus on creating homages of more serious fragrances.

I love it but doesn't last. I've had another dupe which lasted more so I won't repurchase it.

I had never tried the original fantasy, and I am not sure why I ordered this - it strikes me as the kind of overwhelming fruit salad kind of smell that I try not to sniff as I have to walk past bath and body works in the mall. The dry down is more pleasant than the opening, in my opinion, smelling of sweet baked goods, but overall the fragrance is still not to my taste.

Not the biggest La Rive fan, but this is gorgeous. Very fruity, but with a creaminess along the lines of a powdered sugar glaze. Very sweet, slightly tart, very fresh with hints of shampoo, but not too soapy. In the drydown it reminds me of Viva La Juicy or its niche alternative Xerjoff's Gran Ballo, but this is smoother, sweeter and better than those. A sweet, feminin and attractive scent. It also has a similar style to Erba Pura, but this is soo much better, more pleasant. It's been a while since I've smelled TT's Cassiopea, but from what I remember this has a similar style to that one too. It lasts 4+ hours with good sillage, which is remarkable for a 7-8 Euro drugstore perfume. The bottle is cute, pretty. I am not sure in what weather this works best. Initially thought summer, but this can get cloying. I feel like it performs better in colder weather, fruity and in a way cozy. This might be the best La Rive in terms of similarity to the original and quality of the scent. Unfortunately they've discontinued this one.

This is scentsational! I was excited because of the extra notes that are not in fantasy. It smells like the initial burst of snooki along with the dry down of pink sugar sensual. It is stronger than fantasy. This is beautiful 🤩, I'm grateful this was made, cuz snooki and sensual are both $30 plus bottles and fantasy is weak on my skin and seems to be missing what the other two have, so this is a winner for me! The haters must have not read the notes, they are not completely identical to fantasy. This is better than fantasy.

I love La Rive, but a fantasy dupe is the last thing we needed on the market. Fantasy is so affordable, there's no need for cheaper alternatives. I can't imagine that this will cost any more than what some retailers are charging for Fantasy, which isn't much. Please explore some popular niche fragrances to dupe.
