Sweet Velvet

Gosh, this smells soooo good! I was so pleasantly surprised when I got this for my bday from my bestie. I usually don’t like La Rive scents that much (for myself) but I felt tempted to keep this one this time and open it instead of gifting it away. The ads popping up on my phone days prior honestly got me curious, I didn’t even know which perfume it was duping until now (I haven’t smelled the original so I’m not sure but the scent is so gorgeous I don’t even care) but it’s a definite recommendation!

I usually dont buy perfumes from this brand but this is a VEEEEERY good dupe of ”La Bomba”. I wanted to use it as my ”car perfume” but it really is a EXCELLENT perfume that stays on the skin (and clothes) forever! It’s so sweet, sticky and different. GOOD JOB LA RIVE! It gets a strong 8/10 from me! If they had a more prettier, classy and solid bottle I would’ve give it a 10/10!

This smells very similar to the OG bomb - the opening is a bit sharper and alcoholic but the dry down is the same. For the price paid you can bathe in it. On my skin it lasts average 6 hours and on clothes days. Pretty good dupe.

I honestly don't get much florals in this, I smell lots of cherry and vanilla here. Though this is such an addictive smell. It's not typical and makes me crave it even more. Freshly sweet with a touch of playful mystery.

I haven't smelled the original ! This one smells like Almonds and cherries to me , not knowing the notes. It has that bitter almondy scent and something fresh. Definitely in CH family of shoes. You're left with the turpentine-like scent of the Patchouly fast ! Layered with coconut is better for me.
