Tender

I agree with several main points made by other reviewers: 1.This is not a "perfect" dupe for CK Euphoria I recently blind bought both fragrances based on their prices and my other fall preferences, namely for floral-woody-chypre fragrances. CK Euphoria lists "whipped cream" as a base note, but to my inexperienced nose, it just reads as vanilla which is one of my least favorite notes in fragrances, and one I can only tolerate very sparingly. Due to this, and the fruity-sweet nature of both of these fragrances, I really didn't like Euphoria that much and layered it with Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP - which put some mature rose and woody notes on top of the sweet-vanilla-fruity Euphoria. Then I liked it! But, would I buy Euphoria alone just to layer with other fragrances? Bringing me to #2 2. This fragrance actually stands on its own La Rive Tender has musk and patchouli notes without the whipped cream note in Euphoria's base. For me, I prefer this scent pyramid, so if I could only have one scent on my vanity, I would choose Tender over Euphoria. That said, this isn't my first La Rive frag, and as such, I oversprayed like a maniac fresh out of the shower because their formulations really do perform more like body sprays or EDC. That first blast was WAY more harsh and terrifying than Euphoria! I was worried I had bombed myself with fruit-sweetness. Luckily, within 10 minutes it dried down and in cool fall temps matured in 30 minutes to allow the floral woody notes to shine. Powdery notes appeared within an hour. I would re-spray after 4-5 hours. I like the suggestion below to wear Euphoria and layer this on top to freshen it throughout the day. 3. This fragrance is a bargain I paid less than $10 USD for 2.5 oz. of Tender, and $32 for 1.7 oz. of Euphoria. I agree with reviewers who pointed out that Euphoria's prices are low enough that you don't really need to find a cheaper dupe of it. So, bottom line, if you love Euphoria, stick with that b/c Tender isn't a perfect dupe and you will probably prefer Euphoria. If Euphoria leaves you a little unsatisfied but you want to explore this type of scent for a low investment, then go for Tender! Bottom line: 1. For me, I like the patchouli musk in Tender and dislike the whipped cream in Euphoria. 2.. This fragrance FAR outperforms its price tag in sophistication and performance, but it is no match for high-end designer fragrance performance and sophistication. And really, would you expect it to be? 3. I'm happy with what I got for the money spent on Tender, and I don't think I can really say the same for CK Euphoria:(

I really don't think Euphoria needs a dupe as it is fairly affordable IMO at discount stores, but I do really love Tender on it's own. It does smell reminiscent of Euphoria, but it isn't a perfect dupe. It is more powdery, which I don't mind in the least. I sprayed 7 hours ago and I'm still getting nice whiffs every now and then as I move about. I think this perfume is good enough to stand on it's own whether or not it's compared to Euphoria. I will be getting another bottle. Edit: After 11 hours, it was still going strong!

Due to blind buying I have ended up with several perfumes where I wouldn't be able to tell which is which in a blind test. They are: Betty Boop Sexy, Milton Lloyd Superstar, La Rive Tender and Kim Kardashian Gold. All of them are claiming to be or paying homage to the original CK Euphoria but the notes aren't all the same and the "reminds me of" lists didn't include all of these. They all have slight, slight differences but they all last 4 or 5 hours on me and longer on clothes.

I paid 10$ for this, and for that price, this is great. I was a little worried when I first sprayed it, because it opened with a lot of green notes and pomegranate and none of the depth or mystery of Euphoria. As it settles, though, the woods and orchid finally come through and it turns into something really lovely. It's not a perfect dupe on my skin- I think Euphoria smells just a little darker and more rich- but for the price, it can't be beat.

Excellent dupe for CK Euphoria. Rich, smooth, long lasting for a cheapie (4-5 hours), beastly sillage. I use a lot of the La Rive dupes to top up the authentic fragrances I own throughout the day. It's a great way to save the juice of your more expensive authentic version. Also, I don't damage my authentic bottles or lose the cap carrying it around in my bag or car for days! I think of La Rive as a body spray and get 2-3 hours longevity at most from them. You shouldn't expect beast mode longevity for less than $10! But this one surprised me. Definitely worth buying.
