Wave of Love

I received CK woman as a sample. As soon as I put it on I knew I owned it already, in another form...La Rive Wave of love. One spray on each wrist and after 2 minutes they are exactly the same, with CK having a more masculine (typical CK dna) bergamot note and Wave beginning and staying with the drydown phase of CK. Since the performance of both is short (one hour) I would rather save my pennies and reapply with Wave of Love. A very pretty uplifting clean scent with a hint of musk; feminine wafts of fresh tea and soft pretty florals. Perfect for a humid summer day. Very happy with my La Rives!

The trick with Wave of Love is to wear it in hot weather. In cold weather I get Light Blue from it (which I can't stand).... cleaning products and bitter woods with a masculine lean and that's why I was going to declutter it. I tried it again on a really hot day in the UK (very humid) and bam! There is the tea and purple florals! This is perfect for high heat and considering that Eclat D'Arpege is a fleeting perfume, this is a great option because if you have to respray it a lot, you might as well get the dupe as it's a bigger bottle for less £. If lilac is what you're after and you can't pick it up in Wave of Love / Eclat D'Arpege, try one of the Drop D'Issey flankers! Similar vibe but maybe a bit more of a Lilac punch :)

A good dupe of Lanvin's Eclat d'Arpege. Usually Lanvin fragrances are soft, clean, feminine and safe. So is this one. Sweet fruity floral scent (peaches, strawberries, lilac, osmathus). The lemon notes fade very fast on my skin. Oh...and very nice minty tea note which I find pretty long lasting. If you are not familliar with Lavin Eclat d'Arpege, I'd give you another very popular reference, D&G Light Blue, but without the ozonic notes. This is indeed a good fragrance for the price. Not very long wearing, but so are the more expensive ones that I mentioned before. I agree with the previous comment that it is very safe for a gift, I can hardly imagine someone hating it.

Pleasant fragrance. Soft, fresh and feminine. Smells like a good liquid hand soap. The strongest notes to my nose are lemon and tea, but i also detect musk and the flowers. I think it is a very nice fragrance for spring and summer. Safe blind buy, safe gift. Appropriate for all ages. The bottle looks a bit cheap, but the scent smells expensiver than it really is. Thumbs up!

Smells fresh, citrusy, perfect for spring and summer. Doesn't last long, around two and a half hours, sits close to the skin, but for the price I think it's just right.

Underwhelming is the best word to describe this scent. Smells like a cleaning product, like an ok-smelling cleaning wipe that you've been dusting a shelf with. I like this as a room spray but I can't think of an occasion where I'd want to smell like this.

Blind bought this as a gift to my friend but decided against it after trying it out at home because it was so unpleasant. I let it sit in my closet for about 6 months before trying it again since i've had no luck with getting rid of it either, but still, no matter how much i try to like it and imagine flowers and tea while sniffing it, it continues to smell like some type of lemony cleaning product. Not sure if there's just something wrong with my bottle or what, because I can't imagine anybody thinking this smells good as a perfume.

Perhaps I got a bad bottle, or perhaps I am anosmic to most of the notes in here, but all I smell is a faint dusty tea scent. I guess I get a faint citrus something when I first spray it, but it fades really quickly. I have tried this a few times during different weather conditions, and I never get any of the other notes. I was pretty disappointed with this one.

Cannot sense the lilac at all. A disappointment since I brought a bottle hoping for lilac. Instead there's a generic flowery-scent, with a sweet dry down.

The lilac, the tea! This brings back memories of childhood forest where it had just rained. I love it so much but it fades so fast! But considering the price I can just reapply and drown myself in this. Bottle is 100ml I think which is good. Now I REALLY want to get the Eclat D'arpege. For some reason I think this would be a perfect perfume for a person that doesn't like perfumes. You know fresh but not stingy, watery, herby but mild, beautiful scent. To me it smells like a fairy forest. My inner child is so happy with this. Perfect starter fragrance for a person just getting into perfumes. I also appreciate the notes, unusual and new to me. Office scent? Yessss. Would not offend anyone. I am a sucker for tea frags and this reminds me of Elizabeth Arden frags but this lasts even less. I think it is what it is: Beautiful, confidence boost. Like a spritz of fresh forest to cheer you up for 2 hours. Because that is how long it lasts. It smells cold, blue floral, rainy and tealike. It is like a happiness, tranquility boost for me but absolute waste of money if you want a lasting fragrance. Guilty pleasure that I will 100% get a backup bottle off! Longevity: 2/10 sillage: 4/10 overal: 9/10 (almost perfect for my nose so I am biased af) Guilty pleasure: 10/10 this has no business being this pleasant for being this cheap🥰
