Binge Eating Vanilla

This is a new love for me. I only have a decant but I want a full bottle. I don’t get the hazlenuts, but I do get the vanilla, bergamot, benzoin (yum!), patchouli and tonka bean. This is absolutely delicious smelling and a different enough vanilla that I want it in my collection, along with all my other vanilla babies. I don’t know how else to word this without it sounding bad, but it is not! I want to say that compared to something like Tihota, I feel it is less classy, but more fun. But that makes it sound bad or maybe cheap, but it is not! I just feel like Tihota could work as a night time vanilla scent, while this is more of a fun and daytime scent to me. I love catching this in the breeze or under a fan. I have a lot of vanillas (and have rejected even more) but this is one of the best ones to come along in a long time imo. It lasts 8+ hours on me and projects very well. I wish I knew how to get a bottle from Italy to America, but I have emailed them and am waiting to hear back

Wow, this one is really special! I've been looking for my perfect vanilla for a long time, this might actually be it! Right from the first spray it is super warm, cozy and inviting - the Madagascar vanilla very prominent, but it is very well rounded out. Sweet, but not at all sickly. I can't detect the hazelnut in any loud way, but I think it is that giving the opening balance. The dry down, I can't really pick up the patchouli (a good thing, would be too heavy for it) but the bergamot and tonka gently but clearly shine through. This is an absolutely wonderful fragrance - I would recommend anyone try it! @Marie20707

This reminds me of Van Py Rhum by Lorenzo Pazzaglia.

The name isn't offensive, what's offensive is Americans obsession with weight. This is an Italian brand, most Italians eat food and good food deserves to be "binged". But in the states, the emphasis is on how you look, thinner is better always, snort. Italian men like all women, regardless of weight. Their beauty doesn't hinge on being a size two. Being offended because of a name encouraging the enjoyment of food just wouldn't cross their mind. Gah, whatever. Anywho, this is a great. I do get the hazelnut, it's kind of warm cakey smelling supporting the vanilla. I don't get much patch but I do get some freshness from the bergamot and lemon. It's unusual that I don't pick up the woody aspect too much, maybe it's blending with that hazelnut for my nose. It's hard getting this here (US), unless you have friends that can forward it on to you.

I was excited to try this as I love the name and bottle, but it’s nothing amazing or unique. This is a very nice, nutty vanilla, but it’s missing any wow factor. I also find this to be a skin scent on me. I will test this for longer and update my review if I change my mind, but currently feel this is one I can live without.

with a name like binge eating vanilla i thought this perfume would be HEAVY on the vanilla but it’s heavy on the hazelnut and woody notes with a sweet vanilla background. it’s a unique fragrance to me, i don’t get any lemon or bergamot though

Nutty vanilla with a dry, almost pencil shaving note. It’s probably my nose picking out the cedar and patchouli more than anything. Reminds me of Angel and I’m not a fan, glad I sampled.

Unisex antique vanilla. Not dusty, but resinous and very slightly earthy and nutty. Very basic, very inoffensive.

Lies and subterfuge. I have said it before and i will say it again, If you put notes on the site about your fragrance, just tell me the truth. I was praying for the vanilla to be realistic and well pronounced. Sadly, it was not. The patchouli and benzoin are stronger than the vanilla and hazelnut.

Interesting fragrance, but not enough vanilla. As for the name, I am not personally offended by it, as I have no experience with eating disorders. However, people dismissing it as oversensitivity as if binge-eating isn't a literal disorder that people die and suffer from is a tad bit insane to me. Eating disorders are not an American Thing, and even if they were, that doesn't make the problem less serious. The name isn't referring to eating a lot; the description literally mentions eating disorders, so let's not be disingenuous.

I came looking for actual reviews, but I only found outrage over the choice of the name of the fragrance. Can someone tag me when there is an actual review of the fragrance? Please and thank you

Yikes! Taking “inspiration” from an eating disorder that thousands of people struggle with is really not great. It’s a pass for me.

Yeah this name seems in really poor taste. You can't tell me multiple people thought, "this is a good idea!"
