Mandarino

The most realistic mandarin peel smell. Very sweet and bitter at the same time, specially in the opening. Because of it's high concentration of naturals, the fragrance doesn't last long. Éllena chose the blackcurrant to elevate the sulfur note and white musk to round everything and make it not too short lasting. Although, with these simple and natural compositions it's almost impossible to get more than 1-2h. I love the smell of it. And for spring and summer it's wonderful.

Mandarino opens up with an explosion of juicy tart and slightly sweet citrus. It dries down and I get more green notes and a hint of fruitiness and musk. One can't be sad wearing this fragrance - it's far too uplifting. As mentioned in a previous comment, it certainly 'defiates from the typical bright' and may I add more boring mandarin fragrance in my opinion. This one is a stroll through a mandarin orchard on a warm bright morning as the sun wakes for the day.

A very rich and mature mandarin. You can tell it's done by a perfumer from another time and era, and however paradoxical, it's also timeless. It has Ellena written all over it. Naturally elegant, minimal, full of joy. Beautiful. Summer dream.

This is exactly how you’d imagine it would smell like. You’ve ever eaten a mandarin orange in season? This is it. Fortunately that’s one of my favorite fruits so naturally this is one of my favorite fragrances.

I had a sample and so I tried it, in the first 20 minutes you can smell the tangerine peel, bitter, very good, you can feel that everything is of quality, then after the first hour the scent becomes Floral It's really a shame about the duration, it lasts almost 4 hours on the skin, and it's not powerful, it would have to be carried around with you and sprayed every 3 hours, certainly an excellent perfume so as not to attract attention And for those who love the citrus genre, useful for perhaps going shopping and for small services, The quality is high, if only it were more powerful I would buy it immediately

Photorealistic mandarin that smells exactly like the small cloud of oil vapour produced when a ripe mandarin is plucked fresh from the tree. It's zesty and sweet like the fruit but also green and mildly bitter like the leaves and stems - in effect it smells like the whole branch. I picked this up at a substantial discount so longevity and projection aren't even a point of concern for me, really it should be perceived as an eau de cologne with max 2 hours longevity and 30 mins of projection.

Gorgeous scent, overpriced, underpowered. High quality build keeps me hooked though and whilst I smell it I am very happy. Imagine Di Parma Arancia Di Capri reimagined with Mandarin, less sweet a tad tart and green. Originally I thought comparisons to Ambergreen above were laughable but now I have a bottle I can see the approximation. Worth keeping to try layering otherwise this is a personal scent i.e not for anyone else to benefit unless they are snuggling with you...

Sweet mandarine juice. Bottled. Incredibly natural, and very fluffy and soft. So don't expect the usual citrussy 'sparkle'. Personally, I wish the bitterness of the rind was a bit more emphasized, but that is not the direction they took for this fragrance. Mandarino is lovely though, and an absolute joy to wear in all seasons. Sillage is very discreet, but it definitely lingers on skin.

Similar in approach to Hermes Mandarine Ambree, with a similar overripe mandarin feel, but substantially less sweet with more of the greenness and 'bitterness' of mandarin peel. Dries down to a neutral clean musk accord. Mandarin is my least favorite citrus note, so it is a pass for me personally.

I received a large decant of this and it almost went to my declutter pile. On my skin, it smells like fresh orange zest and bright juicy sweet orange. However, it requires massive overspraying on skin and clothes.

In Mandarino, Monsieur Ellena uses the green, sulfurous characteristics of cassis as a supporting note to enhance and extend the juicy tartness of the mandarin, and a touch of bittersweet caramellic notes to underscore its sticky sweetness. The result? Something that deviates from the typical bright, aldehydic notes of mandarin rind, but instead serves a vivid impression of canned mandarin sections in light syrup. Through the packaging and pasteurisation, the citrus has lost most of its top notes - what remains is the tangy fruitiness of the pulp, with a hint of bitter rind.

There are two major issues with this fragrance - longevity and projection. Overall, the scent is fine, but the performance is so lacking that it’s hard to enjoy. With a million citrus fragrances out there, there are better options. Rating 6/10.

Testing blind I got a greenish nutty-ish citrus. Not very strong from application on and really didn't notice it throughout the day. I thought to myself if his a citrus fragrance (and clearly it is looking at the notes now) it's more like the pulp side. There's a bit of earthy blandness under the citrus note. It could be the black current, but I'm just not really picking up on that note specifically. I like orange leaning fragrances so I'm a little surprised I'm just not digging this one. Something about the pulp element (for lack of a better description) is putting me off. Plus, with the intimate projection (usually I'll get a whiff of whatever I'm wearing at some point in the day, and nothing else), and the longevity feeling rather short (even compared to their own standard) I feeling I'm sad facing this, but ever so slightly.

One minute of a photorealistic sour mandarin followed by musky celery.

ماندارینو لابراتوار الفتیوو تو چه بیرحمانه زیبایی. مثل غنچه ای نشکفته خشکیدی. چطوری عمر ی عطر انقد می‌تونه کوتاه باشه؟ ماندارینو اینجوریه. دقایقی بیش طول نمی کشه تا بتونید بوی نارنگی رو استشمام کنید . مثل پوست کندن خود نارنگی همه چی سریع رخ میده . حتی نیم ساعت هم نمیشه . ماندارینو رو وقتی تست میکنید ممکنه بگید این بهترین بوی نارنگی هست که تا امروز تست کردم . شاید از نارنگی گرلن و هرمس بهتر باشه . ولی اگه ادکلن کلمانتین کالیفرنیا رو تست کرده باشید حتما با خودتون میگید عمرا . آتلیه کلون ی چیز دیگست . اره این عطر ماندارینو خیلی شبیه کالیفرنیا کلمانتین هست ولی شاید ۵ دقیقه ‌. انگور سیاه نت مزاحمه . طراوت بوی پوست نارنگی رو بعد از دقیقه پنجم میگیره . هرچند بعد از ۱۰ دقیقه هم بوی نارنگی احساس نمیشه و همون انگور سیاه هم نهایتا تا نیم ساعت احساس میشه . مثل روشن کردن ی کبریت و دیدن آتشش هست همینقدر زیبا . همینقدر سریع ماندارینو مثل لیمونه از همین برند کم جونه ولی زیباست . اما این زیبایی خیلی کم دوامه . لیمونه پرفرومنس بهتری داره . ماندارینو رو حتی اگر هم تست کردید و دوست داشتید قبل از خریدنش حتما کلمانتین کالیفرنیا از آتلیه کلون رو تست کنید ... کیفییت و درخشندگیه ماندارینو عالیه پرفورمنسش نابوده .

Hm, I don't understand the mentioned similarities ... This is a dynamically changing perfume. Here, at first, I perceive a freshly torn mandarine, inviting you to sink your teeth greedily into it...while Hermes' mandarine stands like a withered fruit from my great-great-grandmother's dusty cupboard, tucked away in a dark hallway. This feast of sunny mandarin slowly overflows into a beautiful blackcurrant accord that can be felt wrapped in an enticing, cuddly freshness. Very the same blackcurrant accord is present in Lavande Romaine by Perris Monte Carlo. On my cold pale skin this base can be felt long enough, over 5 hours.

Happiness in a bottle. This is a perfect, juicy, ripe, in-season, Sicilian mandarin suspended in pure air, just a centimetre from your face. I love that this does NOT open like a cologne unlike so many citrus-focused fragrances (even Ellena’s own Bigarade for EdPFM.) The mild, succulent sweetness of mandarin is lifted by the mood-boosting floral sharpness of the rind. It sits close to the skin and makes your mouth water. No longevity but I love it so much that I do not care a fig.

Like most citruses, this is a happy fragrance. I love how realistic it smells and the musky dry down. It’s not going to last long or fill a room, but in the height of Summer in Florida this is perfect. It also layers well with pretty much everything. The deep green of the bottle is gorgeous and it looks lovely on my perfume tray.

I was really looking forward to smelling this. It is a lovely scent, but there is a rather prominent celery smell that I get from this. I’m not sure I want to smell of freshly cut celery. But it certainly captures that moment of tearing off mandarin peel and coating your fingers in mandarin oil.

It smells like fresh crushed rinds of mandarin, it also smell like the crushed leaves of a mandarin tree. It sits close to the skin which is expected...I think this is what I want when I think of a perfume called Mandarino. Lovely, elegant and natural, I am very glad.

Candied mandarine with medium-size bitterness from the peel thrown in. A very interesting approach from the usual natural treatment we usually see from fagrances with mandarine as the main focus. Have decent longevity on me from 5-7hrs
